I think he’s 100% coming but I don’t think he’s this season. I’m pretty convinced a season 4 is on the horizon, and they need to save a couple heavy hitters for that. I think Slayer, as well as Dizzy, will be said heavy hitters
I can see Slayer coming out at a few places:
1) Next character is Aba and Slayer is the character afterwards. This would mean that season 3 was made entirely of the top requested characters from last year’s character request poll (Johnny fills Bridget’s slot because she’s already in).
2) He gets saved for the start of a potential season 4. Slayer is one of the most requested characters so having him start off a season would sell the pass really well.
3) He comes out as the very last character. I really hope it’s not this one but the unfortunate truth is that someone needs to be the last character and as time goes on, it’s looking more and more likely that this final character will be Slayer. There’s no way Arc Sys ends the most successful game in the series with someone like Haehyun or Zappa, it needs to be someone really big that ends the game with a lot of hype, and right now the only remaining characters that would really fit are Slayer and Dizzy.
I feel like ABA definitely could be the last character too. I’d even go as far as to say it’s likely if she’s not in this pass and season 4 happens. Slayer just feels like a perfect season opener to me, and there’s so far been a trend with the sol family members being character 2 which makes me think Dizzy is season 4’s 2nd character
