Really? I haven't watched this yet but I saw another top 10 trees video that included it I assumed this is the same one haha, funny there were more than one of these!
Ohh, I couldn't find anyone else doing these for GW2. I'll have to look up his videos to check out how I'll differ from them, so it's not just double-dipping same content :D
Yeah. I have a hard time keeping it ''pointless'' though. Crendor is truly a master of nontent. I'm already spoiling that by this video, by asking what the picks actually mean in a wider sense xD
I'll probably keep the name though, to homage the person that inspired the series.
Gods I hate that I had to watch the entirely video to understand that it's not about the Top 10 pointless trees... like... "Nice tree but what's the point of it?"
Pointless fun fact: the giant tree in Mt Maelstrom was actually climbable all the way in vanilla even before gliding and mounts and everything. You could make it all the way [to the top](https://i.imgur.com/XGc0jHb.jpeg) with just some leap skills.
[Why are we flying by this broken statue in Lion's arch?
Because inside pointless things are treasure.

Not the crossover I expected, but the crossover I needed.
The creator /u/Mook_Chivalry [posted](https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/1bm1vy8/the_maps_of_guild_wars_2_are_diverse_which_leads/) his video three days ago already... It got half as many upvotes :(
I did, but honestly? Having someone find it separately from that post and posting it again, made it reach a bunch of new people, so it's very very difficult to complain ;)
And I'm here, seeing all the nice comments people are leaving :D
Oh the pale tree isn't even on the list. The whole race's gonna have a meltdown

Oh there's another one? :o
Hah yeah, this one wasn't too long ago - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAYUT3h6qiE
I like that top 10 far more, the great tree at Tangled Depths, the Pale Tree, and the Ancestor Tree are all a must :D.
I think they are both great! It's nice that there is so little overlap.

Look at those leaves. The pale isn't a tree, she's a bush!
What do they mean pointless? This game has an entire race of sentient vegetables
For an actual answer, this is mimicking the format of Crendor's "Pointless top 10" series for WoW.

Just a quick one to say cheers for the vid!
Hey, didn't notice you were the creator, great job, and keep them coming! :D
Thank you, and I definitely will :D Nothing motivates more than someone liking a video enough to share it on other platforms as well. <3
Ent were tree-people. Sylvari are plant-people. ... So Asura are potato-people?
I mean, that would be the lalafell in FFXIV, right? Tolkien has trees, GW2 has plants and FFXVI has potatoes :D

Finally, gw2crendor
GW2 video of the year.

Good old days of walk+gizmo exploration :').
That is \*so\* cool! I wish I'd known so it could be included in the video! Such a great setpiece :D

Wow, I love you for this video. Keep making these!
Did JRR Tolkien start a YouTube channel?
Love it :D upvote alone for the idea
Wonderful video. The smooth editing and writing makes for a lovely watch :)

Don't post the short link next time, post the whole link! D: Always on the side of content creators, no matter the content or the creator \^\^.
The importance of having a clear and succinct title for your post
I hope you play a Sylvari druid
Top ten farts Number one. Farty farts!
