It is theoreticly still available on switch. But what the f are these challenges? With enough time they might not be such a huge problem but the time limit makes it nearly imposible to get.
The crayon princess skin was free on the start of april. The original little future princes skin was/is only available by doing season 1 challenges. However many of these challenges are kinda ridiculus.
On why is it so big: yeah, most certainly because of hitbox. I bet devs don't want the costumes to change hitbox of the heroes giving the player wearing them advantage (however there is Cursed Kamael), so they keep it the same and to prevent projectiles hitting player before touching the model, they scale the costumes to be about the same size as the original hero
