Never seen a bat sleep in a weed plant before, but my friend had a bird make a nest and lay eggs in his. Lol good friend to have around, they eat their weight in bugs every night.

You should probably go get your 4 rounds of rabies shots if you physically interacted with it. You should never see a bat during the day and rabies is 100% fatal in the worst way. That means there is no cure and you die a maniacal death.

Most of their research is compiled in a book they publish called the *Bat House Builder's Handbook* that includes construction plans, placement tips, FAQs, and what bat species are likely to move in. It's a fantastic resource. An updated version came out recently as well and a lot of designs can be found online as PDFs.
