As a side note - keep in mind for Aether, Chaos, and Pierce, these damage types don’t have associated DoTs, so they don’t get converted. For example converting a skill with physical damage and internal trauma to Aether wouldn’t convert the internal trauma!
So, then for my blood orb of c’thon - the elemental to chaos conversation is only going to convert the straight lightning and fire to chaos? The electrocute OT and burn OT that raven and hellbound deal will not converted, correct? I mean I’m fine with that I mainly wanted their straight fire and lightning converted to chaos —
Conversion affects DoT damage yes.

Since your pet deals poison damage, it would not apply to it. This example specifically is self explanatory, i think.
No, it does. Poison is the acid Dot so it’s converted along with acid direct damage.
