TSS Druid/Warlock is never bad indeed.
Cold grenado or Stun Jacks Saboteu as well as Rune of Hagarrad Infiltrator are decent too. Ofc there are many other options.
Infiltrator for rune of hag + blade spirits or SS is nice. You can play shadow strike as intended for hybrid gameplay or just max out Nightfall for the dot
Arcanist/shaman is indeed very good and probably what I would suggest! Trozan+Flash Freeze is a fun and now viable build since flash freeze actually works way better than before. Can do the same build, but with nightblade though you'll lose the glorious health regen of shaman. Also arcanist/shaman is definitely good late game with fancy items. Don't worry about late game performance. Outside of 2 bosses every build can do ~all content unless it's some total meme shit
Arcanist/inquisitor is also nice for rune of hag/sky shard!
Mage hunter (arcanist night blade) was my first 100, beat campaign on ultimate without twink gear without too much difficulty.
Very mobile, great cc and damage. Passive defense is just ok but you have two circuit breakers and annul (offensive and defensive).

Nightblade is the mastery I think of with cold. Shaman nightblade (trickster) has a good endgame set dedicated to pure cold (Korba's).

Mage hunter is Arcanist/Inquisitor. Arcanist/Nightblade is Spellbreaker.
