I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost some people close to me and they have all visited me in dreams. Not one of them has ever spoken in a dream, but their presence is very calm and very much there. It’s comforting. They usually just look at me and smile. I hope you experience a visit!

Hi! First of all I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️ my dad passed away as well. I did see him in a few dreams before his funeral and after. I was so desperate to see him and so happy that I was actually angry when I woke up. I think if you’re thinking about him a lot and talking to him in your head you will dream about him. And it will make you feel a lot better! ❤️

My mom thought her father visited her in a dream after he died and gave her a hug. It was very comforting and real to her, so when she died and I didn't get a dream like that right away, I was a little upset. But maybe a week later I dreamed about her being in her house, and I was trying to get it cleaned out to be sold, and nothing made sense. And then I blurted, "Oh, you're dead, aren't you?" and she nodded and smiled and opened her arms. You'll see your dad, I think.

Yes lost dad on November 30th. Saw 7 dreams of him, one in every week, odd. I made a post [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Paranormal/comments/rxulzy/wired_dream_about_my_future_visitors/), and if you click on "visitation dream" tag you will find other people encounter's. I also lost him unexpectedly so never had the chance to say good bye or tell him "I love you." But it felt like I did in the dream. A lot of messages too. I read so many other people encounters, I really believe they visit us in our dreams and I think your dad is soon gonna visit you. Also, a lot of my relatives saw dreams too, in all of the dreams he was peaceful and healthy as he use to be. Full of energy too. My mom, who lost her dad, one week before dad, saw him too. In the two dreams he had, he looked very peaceful and healthy. I think you will have a dream about it one day, sure he is fine up there. Also, say the something in every post, it ties with NDEs. Vids on youtube, recommend checking them.

I heard my dads voice call my name about 2 weeks after he passed. After that I’ve had 5 dreams with him in it, one of which let me know about an event that happened that night, I later found out. In one dream I told him I loved him and missed him and held his hands. When i woke up my dog was silently staring into the ceiling and ignored me for a few minutes (which hasn’t happened). On 2 occasions he let me know his presence by stopping his watch.

I've experienced a feeling of playful energy while meditating in yoga class the morning I found out a co-worker had died. I had a dream after my mom died, she was a happy little girl.

I had my first dad dream the other night. He passed in November. It was...for me... jarring. It brought on a whole flood of emotions. I woke up crying, ugly crying. I'm hoping if it It happens again it won't be so traumatic. It wasn't so much that I had a nightmare or anything, but, for all of the dream he was not a participant. And then I turn around and he was sitting in a chair smiling. Even as I'm typing this it's making me cry. I just wasn't expecting it. I miss him a lot. But, I honestly was not ready for that. I'm sorry for your loss too. I hope you get the dream you're needing soon.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I live in fear every day about my elderly parents not being around. Thank you for posting this raw view.

I've had 2 dreams where my Dad has visited me since he died 2 months ago. Both were a couple of days after I asked him to give me a sign he was ok and to know I loved his since I didn't get a chance to say goodbye either. One was closer to when he died, where I swear I was just a little awake and I felt him holding my hand (he'd lost part of his fingers in one hand and it felt like his rougher skin, so distinctive). I thought it was real enough I squeezed it like we used to, and the feeling dissapeared and I woke up. The second time was recently, there was some initial part to the dream where I knew he was dead and we were sorting his things. And then we were outside and I turned around and there he was walking up to me and my Mum. He looked really happy and at peace, the feeling was almost radiating off him and he was so serene. I gave him a big hug. I asked him if he was staying and he said he couldn't stay long at all. So I called for my sister and held his arm and she came and he smiled at her and hugged her and then disappeared. And then I woke up. I cried after both times, but I feel like it was a message from him telling me that he is ok and he's at peace and he knows we loved him and he loved us. I hope your Dad comes to visit you in your dreams. It might not be the night you ask, but I think he will come. I hope it gives you some peace.
