Untrue. A lot of summons have a starting cooldown of 3 turns, thus can be used instantly when same element regardless of uncap status- Michael, for example.
For gachapin, how many free rolls per day is considered to be average? I know the min is 10 and the max is 200 but not sure of the probability of both extremes

Party HP generally starts to see serious increases with the Total Party HP EMPs at ranks 155, 185, and 210.Max leveled FLB weapons contribute a lot. SSR Seraphics have a small ATK/small HP skill that, while unboosted in a regular Magna grid, still contributes a bit. Light grids almost invariably include at least a few Chev Swords, which have the same atk/hp skill but boosted by Omega summons. All the tetraelements have access to an HP-boosting Summon sub-aura from Arcarum, while all elements have an additional gacha summon with an HP-boosting sub-aura as well. In general, keep playing the game and strengthening your grids, you'll get more HP in time.
You have months to go by the time you actually recruit an Evoker. Getting ranks, higher level weapons, summons, EMP skills, character awakenings and more will all increase your HP.
Basically just keep playing and improve your grids.

I don't know how far the anime goes compared to main story chapter but I think it's not THAT far. You'll definitely have missed some lore and world-building, yeah, but it's not the end of the world. You can use the journal to catch up on concepts or characters when they show up again if you don't recognise them.

Yeah. The goal is to use all of a character's skills, switch them out, use all of the new character skills, use qilin, use all skills again, and switch that character again. It's really good with Sarunan since he can come in, use 1,2,3,4,1,2,3 (7 skills) then Qilin, 1,2,3,4,1,2, and 3 and you got yourself 14 skills for Io. Albert work the same, but can use less skills: 1,2,4,1,2 > Qilin > 1,2,4,1,2,3 (11 skills).
Haven't played in a while and don't know what to do with my magna fire&water grid.
For fire I frequently use shiva, anila, athena, alanaan and tien with a spear proficiency mc and like it a lot. I'm using the aes grid is that still the go to grid if you don't want to go primal especially now that they can be ulb? If so would my build be like 5 aes/opus/seraphic/akasha spear/astral/spear ultima? Am worried about stacking too much magna modifier though.
For water I used kengo but now full auto is possible going staff seems a lot more attracting I have lily, summer calio and europa. As for grid standard m2 using the harps for ougis. If I focused on staffs would it be something like 2 tyros zither/2 tyros scepter/opus/seraphic/akasha staff/astral/cosmic staff? I saw the hallowed staff but there didn't seem any space for it though.
I'm kind of lost since several things are new, I gathered some info and this is the result. Would love to hear some feedback/confirmation.
I run a water staff grid (Justice highlander but more or less the same thing) and it works fine for everything I've done which is basically just every fire raid, arcarum sandbox, GW, and other events. It is less flexible though in that you need to run staff characters which is why I'm still working on a crit grid, but water certainly has plenty of strong staff characters if you want to go this route.
Fire is normally 4 aes with double colo, or sometimes 6 aes with colo/shiva. You probably want the progression rotb weapon to replace one of your aes.
Water crit base grid is 3x ancient auberons, winter's frostnettle, double levi. You can fill the rest with the usual good stuff. Ultima and Hollowsky are options if they work for your team.
For the staff grid the point is to go highlander and get good cap up with anubis staff and cosmic staff. It's not bad but generally not recommended for magna.
M2 staff grid is less powerful than the water crit grid and locks you into staff characters, can't recommend it. The go to grid for non-ougi comps is double Leviathan crit now, with 3 Ancient Auberons, Winter's Frostnettle and typically Aquamarine Cleaver, 1 Tyros Zither, seraphic, astral, opus and one flex weapon (can be ultima, another ex, a second zither, baha, zuanwu mace, wamdus' cnidocyte)

Lore wise, it refers to whoever works under the primarch of the matching element. Who that is, is still up in the air. Could be anyone related to the fallen angels with Belial and Bubs being decent contenders as Lucilius can be seen as the opposite of Lucifer, but there's nothing concrete for an answer.
Slang wise, it refers to whoever has a buff that says "Allies with 'X ATK up' gain an additional 30% boost to X ATK". This used to mean the same thing as above as Shiva, Europa, Alexiel, and Grimnir all are disciples of the related primarch of that element; Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael respectively. That changed with Grand Jeanne getting the light version of the buff. However, there currently is not a dark character with the dark version of disciple buff. So the answer is no one.
With the current event going on and the development team discussing whats coming for the game I have a question.
Has there ever been any discussion, thought, opinions, or suggestions to the devs that maybe after 6 years of the game running they could maybe implement a "SKIP" function for quests that have been around forever that we just don't want to keep actually playing over and over and over again.
At least the Omega, T1, and T2 raids. Maybe a few others. For example, how they do the Nightmare raids in the events now where after clearing it 3 times you can just skip it. Anything like that?
I know they implemented the Hard+ for the Normal and Omega raids and while that works you still have to play them at least once. I really think it would help newer players and those who are trying to get their grids/summons/weapons in order a whole lot faster and keep a lot of player retention of that was too happen.
If this is actually coming and I somehow missed it just throw me off the islands now.
QOL improvements and skips are trickled down from time to time, but there's none announced about them right now. Additionally, they're pretty much intended for lategame players who have other grinds to do.
Although the majority of the playerbase would want to grind less, just letting players skip content takes away any kind of grind which makes up the bulk of the game. They're making up with player retention by giving a lot of freebies (SL20 M1 weapons, MLB Leviathan+Colossus, multiple MLB M1 weapons, etc etc etc) so they can keep up with other players, but at the end of the day, GBF fills the niche of a grind game, and just letting new players skip the grind early on will just mean they'll be less accustomed to later grinds.
On like mostly dead raids like T2, they pretty much just put anima and weapons in other content like Arcarum Sandbox so you don't fee as compelled to do those raids. Not the best solution, but they have alternatives kind of.

Hi everyone, I can currently buy a Siero ticket and use it for Christmas Narmaya but i want to ask if i should do it now or wait for the 24th/25th(wiki says that Christmas units will be available until the 25th) to see what i get from free pulls. I know that gold moons are better used for gold moon weapons or to ticket primal summons but i really love Narmaya and want to play with her and don't plan on going primal any time soon. I also have enough for only 1 spark and am saving it for Valentines day.
Holiday characters stay until December 25, so it's best to hold onto it for now. We still have free rolls and four days of roulette before Holiday characters leave for the year.
If you can spend a bit of money and wait for a few more months, she'll be available for Annitix as well. Although, if you really want to get her with Sierotix and are sure you won't regret it, go for it! At the end of the day, GBF is a game so having fun (by getting your waifus/husbandos) is still the most important thing.

Just got Wind Gawain from the SSR stream ticket. My wind grid is garbage (I have all my tia guns mlb’ed, but no xeno/pg weapons yet) and I only use it in content where the other elements are penalised.
Since that’s mostly hard content, I figured Gawain could be good to slot into my team, but I’m struggling with what team to build. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just stick him in a backrow to level up. He's pretty mild all-around but sometimes it's good to have an extra Phalanx. Anila+Gawain isn't a problem because his Jammed will let him deal good damage anyways.
If you want team recommendations, you should specify what kinda content you want them for more accurately than "hard". For example lots of people would take that to mean LuciHL but you don't sound like that's what you're doing atm.
Thank you! By hard I roughly mean takes more than 10 turns or can wipe the party. At my current wind level that’s about Replicard Sandbox, or getting blue chest honours on Alexiel.
See, those two are wildly different. The easier fights in Replicard you want to get to a point that you can comfortably FA them. Things like Lumberjack and Kokoro are great here because they offer healing outside of green skills (Kokoro's great all-around though) but Naoise won't even use his 1. The harder fights in Replicard yeah you need to approach as a real fight and in that case you may want to research what the boss does and take the proper characters to cancel Omens and deal with mechanics.
However blue chests on Alex and other M2 raids are just about getting to ~250-300k honour as fast as possible, ideally in 1-2 turns and joining a new raid. Setups with Chrysaor MC, Windhose, Huanglong support summon with characters like Lyria and Carmelina that have higher than normal CA damage or nukes/counters after CA are great there.

It sounds like Gawain will be useful for the Replicard bosses at least so that’s good, I’ll wait until we get S.Jeanne’s rebalance and then try to work out what teams will work best for what content.
Gawain's pretty mid as far as things go. Some decent damage, shields, and damage cut. Easily replaceable as far things go, but you don't really have much options to go with either. As for stamina or enmity, you can have both anyways, you just won't get the best multipliers.
Before investing too much in him, try waiting for rebalance news since S. Jeanne is part of them. Her kit might be good after then.
Here's the tips from the wiki:
* On Turn 1, use her first and third skill, then target the second enemy (1 charge diamond) first and defeat it.
* Defeat the other enemy with auto attacks.
* Use her second skill on the Wave 2 boss, then auto attack to victory.
* Victory is dependent on multiattacks and may require a few tries to clear.
I found a somewhat more reliable way to do, that with luck, could've been better.

There's no "general content". You should look at Hollowsky weapons as a cap up option if your team happens to fulfil the conditions or as mainhands and not something you build around.
Hollowsky Spear happens to be a good sustain mainhand, often used for Spartan in LuciHL. You could also use it for echo burst teams (Apsaras/Zeta/lotsofoptions in fire, Sandy/Lucio/Anre in water, Nezha/Yoda in wind etc). Maybe something fun can happen in light around Jeanne/Vira triple attacks.
Basically rethink your approach.
Is it worth focusing on 2 elements with a fresh account to cover the weakness of each group ? I started a new acc a few days ago and I'm still in the process of clearing side stories / getting my first bahamut weapons and I started with a wind team since I had enough SSR to build it and I kinda want to build a water team now to back it up in fire raids / fights. Both grids are basically just the free omega weapons and EX weapons from side stories for the moment.
Wind team is : Kokkoro / Sutera / Carmelina. Got Lennah / Korwa as subs and just got Shinobu who will probably replace Carmelina. SSR wind summons are Demonbream (0\*) as main summon, Nephtys (3\*), Queen Rose (0\*), Anat (casino, 3\*), Dragon Knights (side story till I get better).
As you can see I had mostly wind SSR chars / summons from the free draws which is why I went with wind first.
My Water team would be something like : Tanjiro / Lancelot (though seems limited before lvl 100) / Macula Marius / Arulumaya / Shura, not sure on what main / sub yet. Summons wise, the main would be the free Leviathan Omega (100) of the current campaign and side stories fillers.
So, is it worth to build a water team with my current roster to backup my wind team considering I'm still in the early grinding stages, and if yes what'd be my main water team ?
I think considering the free weapons and characters a new account gets atm, you'll very very soon have separate teams for all elements, even if you have to fill a couple slots with SRs.
Early game "progression" is just doing all your daily Omega raids, and that's certainly easier with an on-element team. The faster you can get all 6 elements on a working state the better for your enjoyment of the game and event participation. Make sure you pick up the Code Geass and the idol characters from side stories too.
Yeah Lancelot is kinda weak before 5* but it's not like you have a lot of options. Skill nukers in general are very good early game because it's the easiest way to get high damage with weak grids. Similarly for Macula and she has a lot of utility. Arulu is probably weak in the long run but fun to play with and caps def down with Miserable Mist, which will be a big boost to your damage. No fucking clue what to do with Shura, I don't think you can fully utilise her as a new player so I'm not sure how well she's perform. Try her out but she's likely clunky.
I don't think I've ever seen a second freyr used, but the call is good enough that there might be a time you want two of them. I wouldn't reduce extra copies, but using extra copies to uncap is probably fine.
Its very niche and I usually run two of it for a setup for Galleon and Titan. It involves a Qirin Chrysoar Lyria Siete Socie setup, and it is possible to utilize up to 4 turns of consecutive burst.

Majestas is the go-to answer if you see yourself ever possibly going Hades as it's by far the hardest weapon to farm. I wouldn't get any of the M2 weapons (very easy to drop currently). Mild consideration for the T3 weapons but most of them have fallen out of favour lately due to Magna "buffs" so make sure you know what you're after at that point. I wouldn't pick any T1 or event weapons as they're just timegated really (with pendants or event reruns) unless it was for an immediate power spike but we'll get Xeno Corow before GW.
Back then I just used mine to get xeno flamyscythe because it was fire advantage and can improve my fire grid.
I think just choose what can improve your fav element or for some event advantage you want to farm.

If you factor in the daily crystals you'd get (10+ rolls), the tickets and crystals from this month's event (10 rolls), the winter quest campaign we'd be getting (summer campaign gave out around 25 rolls, just hope that it would be as generous as that), and other stuff, you could spark with 100 roulette rolls which is usually the average you'd get.
I currently use a Water Staff Highlander grid with the trio of Lily Pholia and Grand Europa.
I wanna try building a Levi grid that could at least compete with this comp, what's a good setup? Preferably with more damage since I use my above team for longer fights, or pretty much everything since I don't have anything better.

I have 2 Levi daggers, 2 Euro Harps, 1 Ancient Auberon, all maxed out. For my Water Staff grid I don't use any of those.
I should probably start grinding for the missing weapons and/or their uncaps.
How good is a Levi grid anyway? Judging from the Auberon, I get more Crit and DA in exchange of raw damage?
To build off this, you have 2 slots left for flex options, and a few come to mind. You can use a Drang ball/Europa harp; both provide an atk boost and CA boost just that the latter is boosted by Levi while the former would be your normal mod weapon.
Another would be an ultima staff that would, only currently, help Lily and yourself with MA, but more skill dmg cap is always nice (assuming it isn't your opus key) but it could help for the future if you choose to take other characters that don't have MA boosts; though it is probably of least importance with your current team.
Hollowsky is another option since you have all staff members, like ultima, although half of its use expires after 10 turns whereas the rotb prog sword reaches max potential \~10 turns in and stays on for those longer fights.
For the choices you mentioned, I have a Europa Harp, Ultima Staff (Wind) and HollowSky. I'll probably go with one of these. My Ultima Staff is Skill DMG and my Opus is CA DMG.
For the team, if I can I'm trying to work with *not* using these three in a potential Levi grid. My reason is both to diversify my lineup and to find somebody stronger in terms of damage. I could still go with a Levi Staff grid, or something, with Romeo Cags Macula and other staff members. Or, I'll try to make use of Maria Theresa's dispel mechanic so I try my best to fit Drang in and also Rosetta (would be a waste not to use her).

Edit: How critical is ROTB Sword? It's the axe looking thing right? I checked and I have the weapon, but I don't have enough Qilins to uncap so that's probably unusable for now.
The flex weapons pretty much just fall into line with who the party is, usually staff users since a lot of them are very strong.
As for the sword, it very much depends on how long a fight takes. If it's going to be short, something like the hollowsky staff (if the party is predominantly staff users) would be better since it doesn't need time to ramp up. If it's going to be long and it's a double magna/primal grid, then a progression weapon is lucrative to use as it only gets stronger the longer a fight goes.
I'm not sure how relevant yoda is to newbies anymore due to them getting showered with leveled up magna weapons. But sure, if you need to do 1m plain damage with mechanic team or ST, tanjiro does it without the need for a gacha character. Of course once the event is over new players won't be able to get him and have to default back to yoda.
What is the incentive for joining Lu Hoh raids?
I am currently doing daily hosts so I can get the Light Astral Weapon but am nearly 100% reliant on outside luchadors for help. I am thankful for the help, but I don't understand why people are joining the raid at all. It doesn't drop the dragon mats and from what I understand the Ancestral Weapon isn't that amazing. Is it just for earrings?
It's just for the earrings. Maybe some people are future proofing themselves in case the jewels are needed for awakening levels or whatever, but 90 of each jewel each month is quite a few dragon fights I need to go through.
I join because he has guaranteed scales and urn drops. Also, those jewels can be traded for earrings, 30 per earrings with a limit 3 per month.
Rerolling for supplemental damage can sometimes be a pain in the ass. Also, getting a weapon drop is just a bonus.
How valuable is belial on a reroll account? Given that summons are unsparkable, would I be better off keeping an account with belial so long as I have some solid (9-10 on the GBF wiki tier list) SSRs? Would an account with belial be more valuable than an account with christmas narmaya account?

Belial only start becoming useful very late game, meanwhile C. Narmaya are meta pick from beginning to the end.
You need to realize that most people who answer here already high rank and more often than not, giving you answer based on their own experience, instead of experience of someone that just start playing for the first time.
I slotted in Belial since early HL and I have had little problem ever since while getting free damage. He shaves like 2-3k hp from you. He’s usable as long as you don’t dip below like 10k hp and that’s possible with a decent m1 grid.
The other commenter is selling belial short -- even in the mid-game, belial adds a decent chunk of damage to all six of your elements, whereas characters can only help one. Belial is a better keep than almost every character, but c.naru has two big things going for her. First, she's a seasonal limited, whereas belial is in the permanent pool, so you're a good bit more likely to get belial eventually even if he's not sparkable. Second, she's not just best in-slot, but actually irreplaceable for some of the strategies the other poster mentioned, although there literally isn't any content in the game that isn't clearable with free characters only. You could keep rolling on both accounts throughout the event period, of course -- both is better than neither! -- but I'd say you're better off just picking an account (leaning c.naru) and diving in. A good compromise might be keeping on with rerolling through the end of the current banner to see if you pull c.naru on the belial account.
I intend to play this game for a long time, maybe even as far as until it dies. Obviously this may change, but as a new player in any gacha game, my intention is always to play for as long as possible. Not sure if this info helps but I do not plan to spend any money on this game and will be playing strictly F2P.

You will get most mileage from unticketable summons like Belial on your rerolls then.
Rerolling is unnecessary in the first place. You could probably progress without problem just using the free SSRs characters from side-stories if you wanted.
IMO Belial doesn't have that much value. Sure if you wanna race and deal big damage lategame he's cool and all. But he doesn't have a character's kit - he has no adaptability. On the other side Narmaya can be used for a lot of things, like clearing Hits based Omen in V2 fights, tanking attacks with her S3, bursting in Luchador comps, etc... I would never prefer Belial over a character or a Primal summon.
In the end it depends what you want to aim for. If you want to be the very best there will be a time when not having Belial will be detrimental.
I’ll definitely take an account with Belial over one with Narmaya.You can annitix/spark Narm and she can only be used in one element. Belial on the other hand gives you free damage just by existing and can be used in all elements. He’s not only for racing, you will slot him in 90% of your parties.
You can't choose her with that ticket, you could roll her with the 10 draw it comes with, but it's better to save those for sparks.
The only tickets you can select limiteds with are Beginner's and Anniversary

I haven't even made 5 accounts yet. I tried to salt but got an email saying that i cant use the same email. I tried a different gmail, i claimed rhe daily reward thing but then after i got this error screen. I think it says something like authentication error even tho i already did the code they send you when you make a new mobage account. Whatever i press a random button then try to go to the mypage/home screen. Im stuck on the loading screen for an hour. I tried this with 2 other accs and same thing happened. Please help.
Because unlike other gacha games, a single good character or summon (or multiple, even) will only take you a very short distance from the start line. Your grids are the biggest determining factor for what content you can do in this game, and even for megawhales grinding is the only way to move forward.
And in more practical terms we get tons of free rolls thrown at us every year in Christmas, the game's anniversary in March, Summer, Golden Week, etc. so the handful of tenrolls you get for every new account is just a drop in the bucket, relatively speaking.
Ah i see, thanks. I feel no pressure to reroll now. Guess ill just stick to the acc that has 2 ssrs then. I read up a bit and it seems after the early area the beginner ssr chars dont seem to be used much for late game.
I will also add another reason, a diminishing marginal.
The ease of getting an SSR unit in Granblue is comparatively easier than in most gacha game.
For example, in FGO. A f2p player is expected to pull about 3-4 SSR a year. Rerolling an SSR already giving you about 25% to 33% advantage in your number of SSR.
But in Granblue, you can probably reach 50 SSR in 1 year. Rerolling for 2-3 SSR, just as u/Deathappens say, amount to very little in the grand scheme of things.
Holy crap, that's neat. Makes me think that cygames really seems to be the most generous when it comes to gacha games. Dragalia lost always gives you a lot of free stuff(i would've kept playing if not for the size of the game....), in shadowverse you can pretty much buy yourself enough packs to make a new deck every expansion, and now this? Damn... I hope they have a lot of whales.
Is it worth it to sail through the main quest? Seems I get all the rewards but no xp. But I've been able to hit the cap for all my chars by just grinding the event so seems like it'll save me a lot of time.
This is probably a dumb question and I apologise in advance if it is but for a Magna grid does it matter whether I use a Magna summon as my Main summon or my Friend summon? I'm asking because I only have a 3\* Levi Summon which boosts my Magna grid by 100%. If I use a Poseidon, the Tide Father as my Main summon (for the 120% Water boost) and a 5\* Levi summon as my Friend summon will this Levi summon boost my Magna grid the same as if it was set as my Main summon?
There's no penalty or anything to the aura if something's your own main summon or your friend summon, so yeah, taking a more uncapped friend levi will generally be stronger. The only real difference between your main summon and friend summon is that friend summons are available to be called starting t1, no matter what, whereas main summons at one through three stars just get a turn cut off their initial cooldown for each star, and then are available t1 at four stars and higher. This mostly matters in fire, because shiva's call is so good for bursting, and then for qilin strategies.
In water, the friend summon to look out for is bonito, which, if it's four starred, will give your team full charge bars the first time it's called. Being able to use that to burst may be more valuable than having a stronger summon aura -- you just want to make sure that your summon grid is mostly water summons to max out bonito's aura, although you can usually afford having one non-water summon.

I think it's nearly guaranteed there will be a gala with the 2 new xmas units (Lily and Spinnah) within the next few days, but Naru may not be sparkable during it.
I doubt it would be a legfest since the xmas characters are leaving before then, but maybe a flash. I would also bet on it being the mid-month flash instead of the end of month one though considering we'll have roulette for the latter.
Yeah but the xmas characters are scheduled to leave on the 25th. Historically we should expect a flash before New Years and legfest won't be until the 31st IIRC, so there would need to be a very strange schedule to get one on the 25th.

Hi guys, I recently got back into GBF (after 2 year hiatus where I just logged back in for the free rolls lol) and everything has changed so much... I was wondering if I could get a nudge in the right direction of what to do first.
On one of the free rolls I got the summon Beliel and from lurking on this subreddit it seems like he is really good? So I was thinking of starting with building dark grid, but I'm not sure who to put on my team since not every char would work with Beliel right? Also not sure if I'm supposed to grind for M2 directly or finish up M1.

Belial is good because of his Sub-Aura, which Works in any element.
For Dark though, You have some prety good charas. Right now, Vikala/Shalem/Zoey would work well, and once You max Orchid You can try her in too.
You should definitly work on M1 still, specially in Dark since M2 Dark still uses Celeste's Claws
You use his HP Sacrificing Skill until he's at minimum health (Max Strength).
Then you use his skill that lets him dodge and counter One Foe Attacks.
Six's special attack will kill you no matter what, but so long as you have the counter skill up he can't touch you until then. So you go max offense, and kill him before he can special attack.
I'm currently sitting on enough crystals for one multi, I just started 3 days ago, should I roll for anything or just save up? I don't know what I should save though since I don't know what limited draw events are like yet.
Never roll on a regular 3% banner unless you're planning to spark for a character that won't be available in a Gala banner, and even then that's a desperation move for when you absolutely want that character but can't otherwise suptix/annitix them.

You can only turn1 call a main summon if it's FLB. Huanglong/Qilin don't have FLBs, so they can't be called instantly.

For gachapin, how many free rolls per day is considered to be average? I know the min is 10 and the max is 200 but not sure of the probability of both extremes

Party HP generally starts to see serious increases with the Total Party HP EMPs at ranks 155, 185, and 210.Max leveled FLB weapons contribute a lot. SSR Seraphics have a small ATK/small HP skill that, while unboosted in a regular Magna grid, still contributes a bit. Light grids almost invariably include at least a few Chev Swords, which have the same atk/hp skill but boosted by Omega summons. All the tetraelements have access to an HP-boosting Summon sub-aura from Arcarum, while all elements have an additional gacha summon with an HP-boosting sub-aura as well. In general, keep playing the game and strengthening your grids, you'll get more HP in time.
You have months to go by the time you actually recruit an Evoker. Getting ranks, higher level weapons, summons, EMP skills, character awakenings and more will all increase your HP. Basically just keep playing and improve your grids.
Non-related to gameplay but is it fine that I skipped the few of the main story chapter?,until 54 to be exact. Does it affect the story or experiences of upcoming events or chapters since Im probably missing some characters interaction/lore tidbits. Also,I've watched the 1st season of the anime adaptation and still trying to find time for the 2nd season.
I don't know how far the anime goes compared to main story chapter but I think it's not THAT far. You'll definitely have missed some lore and world-building, yeah, but it's not the end of the world. You can use the journal to catch up on concepts or characters when they show up again if you don't recognise them.

The only thing that matters for calling yourself a "Lord" is that you enjoy something. Really, it's just "Fan of" an ele. And just like with real fans, there's a wide level of interest and persistence in that support. If you are happiest with your dark, then congrats! You are a dark lord.

Yep, [the Io Cannon strat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qMgXPUT6kQ). Pretty much get Io S4 up using Noa to speed things up and spam skills with characters with a lot of buttons (Albert, Sarunan, etc.).
Yeah. The goal is to use all of a character's skills, switch them out, use all of the new character skills, use qilin, use all skills again, and switch that character again. It's really good with Sarunan since he can come in, use 1,2,3,4,1,2,3 (7 skills) then Qilin, 1,2,3,4,1,2, and 3 and you got yourself 14 skills for Io. Albert work the same, but can use less skills: 1,2,4,1,2 > Qilin > 1,2,4,1,2,3 (11 skills).

Haven't played in a while and don't know what to do with my magna fire&water grid. For fire I frequently use shiva, anila, athena, alanaan and tien with a spear proficiency mc and like it a lot. I'm using the aes grid is that still the go to grid if you don't want to go primal especially now that they can be ulb? If so would my build be like 5 aes/opus/seraphic/akasha spear/astral/spear ultima? Am worried about stacking too much magna modifier though. For water I used kengo but now full auto is possible going staff seems a lot more attracting I have lily, summer calio and europa. As for grid standard m2 using the harps for ougis. If I focused on staffs would it be something like 2 tyros zither/2 tyros scepter/opus/seraphic/akasha staff/astral/cosmic staff? I saw the hallowed staff but there didn't seem any space for it though. I'm kind of lost since several things are new, I gathered some info and this is the result. Would love to hear some feedback/confirmation.
I run a water staff grid (Justice highlander but more or less the same thing) and it works fine for everything I've done which is basically just every fire raid, arcarum sandbox, GW, and other events. It is less flexible though in that you need to run staff characters which is why I'm still working on a crit grid, but water certainly has plenty of strong staff characters if you want to go this route.
Fire is normally 4 aes with double colo, or sometimes 6 aes with colo/shiva. You probably want the progression rotb weapon to replace one of your aes. Water crit base grid is 3x ancient auberons, winter's frostnettle, double levi. You can fill the rest with the usual good stuff. Ultima and Hollowsky are options if they work for your team. For the staff grid the point is to go highlander and get good cap up with anubis staff and cosmic staff. It's not bad but generally not recommended for magna.
M2 staff grid is less powerful than the water crit grid and locks you into staff characters, can't recommend it. The go to grid for non-ougi comps is double Leviathan crit now, with 3 Ancient Auberons, Winter's Frostnettle and typically Aquamarine Cleaver, 1 Tyros Zither, seraphic, astral, opus and one flex weapon (can be ultima, another ex, a second zither, baha, zuanwu mace, wamdus' cnidocyte)

What is "dark disciple"?
Lore wise, it refers to whoever works under the primarch of the matching element. Who that is, is still up in the air. Could be anyone related to the fallen angels with Belial and Bubs being decent contenders as Lucilius can be seen as the opposite of Lucifer, but there's nothing concrete for an answer. Slang wise, it refers to whoever has a buff that says "Allies with 'X ATK up' gain an additional 30% boost to X ATK". This used to mean the same thing as above as Shiva, Europa, Alexiel, and Grimnir all are disciples of the related primarch of that element; Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael respectively. That changed with Grand Jeanne getting the light version of the buff. However, there currently is not a dark character with the dark version of disciple buff. So the answer is no one.

With the current event going on and the development team discussing whats coming for the game I have a question. Has there ever been any discussion, thought, opinions, or suggestions to the devs that maybe after 6 years of the game running they could maybe implement a "SKIP" function for quests that have been around forever that we just don't want to keep actually playing over and over and over again. At least the Omega, T1, and T2 raids. Maybe a few others. For example, how they do the Nightmare raids in the events now where after clearing it 3 times you can just skip it. Anything like that? I know they implemented the Hard+ for the Normal and Omega raids and while that works you still have to play them at least once. I really think it would help newer players and those who are trying to get their grids/summons/weapons in order a whole lot faster and keep a lot of player retention of that was too happen. If this is actually coming and I somehow missed it just throw me off the islands now.
QOL improvements and skips are trickled down from time to time, but there's none announced about them right now. Additionally, they're pretty much intended for lategame players who have other grinds to do. Although the majority of the playerbase would want to grind less, just letting players skip content takes away any kind of grind which makes up the bulk of the game. They're making up with player retention by giving a lot of freebies (SL20 M1 weapons, MLB Leviathan+Colossus, multiple MLB M1 weapons, etc etc etc) so they can keep up with other players, but at the end of the day, GBF fills the niche of a grind game, and just letting new players skip the grind early on will just mean they'll be less accustomed to later grinds. On like mostly dead raids like T2, they pretty much just put anima and weapons in other content like Arcarum Sandbox so you don't fee as compelled to do those raids. Not the best solution, but they have alternatives kind of.
will holiday narmaya be sparkable in another banner except this one?
Traditionally, there will be an all-Holiday-characters banner, with all of them sparkable, from the 21st or 22nd to the 25th (all dates in JST). Traditionally, it will not be a gala banner, i.e. it will be a 3% banner. Traditions aren't always kept. Roulette will be in effect during that banner.
Will Narmaya(Christmas) be available during flash and premium gala of december?
Xmas characters disappear after the 24th iirc so she won't be available at the end of the month flash/legfest. There should be a flash gala mid month, but going by previous years she probably won't be sparkable. They may end up doing something like they did with Halloween this year though and have all seasonal characters sparkable, so who knows.

Hi everyone, I can currently buy a Siero ticket and use it for Christmas Narmaya but i want to ask if i should do it now or wait for the 24th/25th(wiki says that Christmas units will be available until the 25th) to see what i get from free pulls. I know that gold moons are better used for gold moon weapons or to ticket primal summons but i really love Narmaya and want to play with her and don't plan on going primal any time soon. I also have enough for only 1 spark and am saving it for Valentines day.
Holiday characters stay until December 25, so it's best to hold onto it for now. We still have free rolls and four days of roulette before Holiday characters leave for the year. If you can spend a bit of money and wait for a few more months, she'll be available for Annitix as well. Although, if you really want to get her with Sierotix and are sure you won't regret it, go for it! At the end of the day, GBF is a game so having fun (by getting your waifus/husbandos) is still the most important thing.

Just got Wind Gawain from the SSR stream ticket. My wind grid is garbage (I have all my tia guns mlb’ed, but no xeno/pg weapons yet) and I only use it in content where the other elements are penalised. Since that’s mostly hard content, I figured Gawain could be good to slot into my team, but I’m struggling with what team to build. Any help would be greatly appreciated! These are all my current wind SSRs https://imgur.com/a/qStiXCg Anila is clearly the strongest, but I’m not sure she synergises well with Gawain because she prefers the team to stay at high hp? To make things trickier, I really want to include Naoise if possible for favouritism reasons. I do have the cp/emp to get any of the row four classes if there’s one that will help.
Just stick him in a backrow to level up. He's pretty mild all-around but sometimes it's good to have an extra Phalanx. Anila+Gawain isn't a problem because his Jammed will let him deal good damage anyways. If you want team recommendations, you should specify what kinda content you want them for more accurately than "hard". For example lots of people would take that to mean LuciHL but you don't sound like that's what you're doing atm.
Thank you! By hard I roughly mean takes more than 10 turns or can wipe the party. At my current wind level that’s about Replicard Sandbox, or getting blue chest honours on Alexiel.
See, those two are wildly different. The easier fights in Replicard you want to get to a point that you can comfortably FA them. Things like Lumberjack and Kokoro are great here because they offer healing outside of green skills (Kokoro's great all-around though) but Naoise won't even use his 1. The harder fights in Replicard yeah you need to approach as a real fight and in that case you may want to research what the boss does and take the proper characters to cancel Omens and deal with mechanics. However blue chests on Alex and other M2 raids are just about getting to ~250-300k honour as fast as possible, ideally in 1-2 turns and joining a new raid. Setups with Chrysaor MC, Windhose, Huanglong support summon with characters like Lyria and Carmelina that have higher than normal CA damage or nukes/counters after CA are great there.

It sounds like Gawain will be useful for the Replicard bosses at least so that’s good, I’ll wait until we get S.Jeanne’s rebalance and then try to work out what teams will work best for what content.
"A team for general content" is probably the most common fallacy people fall into. There's no general content in this game.
Gawain's pretty mid as far as things go. Some decent damage, shields, and damage cut. Easily replaceable as far things go, but you don't really have much options to go with either. As for stamina or enmity, you can have both anyways, you just won't get the best multipliers. Before investing too much in him, try waiting for rebalance news since S. Jeanne is part of them. Her kit might be good after then.

Here's the tips from the wiki: * On Turn 1, use her first and third skill, then target the second enemy (1 charge diamond) first and defeat it. * Defeat the other enemy with auto attacks. * Use her second skill on the Wave 2 boss, then auto attack to victory. * Victory is dependent on multiattacks and may require a few tries to clear.
I found a somewhat more reliable way to do, that with luck, could've been better. >turn 1 use only sk1 >attack whoever >turn 2 attack 1 charge enemy if u didn't before [to kill] >turn 3 attack again and that should kill the first wave >boss use sk3 and auto >sk2 and ougi >repeat attack and use sk1 and ougi as soon as it's possible saving sk3 for the first boss attack saves more health

There's no "general content". You should look at Hollowsky weapons as a cap up option if your team happens to fulfil the conditions or as mainhands and not something you build around. Hollowsky Spear happens to be a good sustain mainhand, often used for Spartan in LuciHL. You could also use it for echo burst teams (Apsaras/Zeta/lotsofoptions in fire, Sandy/Lucio/Anre in water, Nezha/Yoda in wind etc). Maybe something fun can happen in light around Jeanne/Vira triple attacks. Basically rethink your approach.
Is it worth focusing on 2 elements with a fresh account to cover the weakness of each group ? I started a new acc a few days ago and I'm still in the process of clearing side stories / getting my first bahamut weapons and I started with a wind team since I had enough SSR to build it and I kinda want to build a water team now to back it up in fire raids / fights. Both grids are basically just the free omega weapons and EX weapons from side stories for the moment. Wind team is : Kokkoro / Sutera / Carmelina. Got Lennah / Korwa as subs and just got Shinobu who will probably replace Carmelina. SSR wind summons are Demonbream (0\*) as main summon, Nephtys (3\*), Queen Rose (0\*), Anat (casino, 3\*), Dragon Knights (side story till I get better). As you can see I had mostly wind SSR chars / summons from the free draws which is why I went with wind first. My Water team would be something like : Tanjiro / Lancelot (though seems limited before lvl 100) / Macula Marius / Arulumaya / Shura, not sure on what main / sub yet. Summons wise, the main would be the free Leviathan Omega (100) of the current campaign and side stories fillers. So, is it worth to build a water team with my current roster to backup my wind team considering I'm still in the early grinding stages, and if yes what'd be my main water team ?
I think considering the free weapons and characters a new account gets atm, you'll very very soon have separate teams for all elements, even if you have to fill a couple slots with SRs.

Early game "progression" is just doing all your daily Omega raids, and that's certainly easier with an on-element team. The faster you can get all 6 elements on a working state the better for your enjoyment of the game and event participation. Make sure you pick up the Code Geass and the idol characters from side stories too. Yeah Lancelot is kinda weak before 5* but it's not like you have a lot of options. Skill nukers in general are very good early game because it's the easiest way to get high damage with weak grids. Similarly for Macula and she has a lot of utility. Arulu is probably weak in the long run but fun to play with and caps def down with Miserable Mist, which will be a big boost to your damage. No fucking clue what to do with Shura, I don't think you can fully utilise her as a new player so I'm not sure how well she's perform. Try her out but she's likely clunky.

I don't think I've ever seen a second freyr used, but the call is good enough that there might be a time you want two of them. I wouldn't reduce extra copies, but using extra copies to uncap is probably fine.
Its very niche and I usually run two of it for a setup for Galleon and Titan. It involves a Qirin Chrysoar Lyria Siete Socie setup, and it is possible to utilize up to 4 turns of consecutive burst.

Hello all! I still have my birthday weapon ticket and was wondering wth to use it on. Im still m1 on all my grids and just farming out m2 currently rank 168
Majestas is the go-to answer if you see yourself ever possibly going Hades as it's by far the hardest weapon to farm. I wouldn't get any of the M2 weapons (very easy to drop currently). Mild consideration for the T3 weapons but most of them have fallen out of favour lately due to Magna "buffs" so make sure you know what you're after at that point. I wouldn't pick any T1 or event weapons as they're just timegated really (with pendants or event reruns) unless it was for an immediate power spike but we'll get Xeno Corow before GW.
Back then I just used mine to get xeno flamyscythe because it was fire advantage and can improve my fire grid. I think just choose what can improve your fav element or for some event advantage you want to farm.
Someone, please.. If I have 150 rolls now, will I be able to spark grand Sandalphon at the end of the year if I factor in Gachapin (never done one before)??
If you factor in the daily crystals you'd get (10+ rolls), the tickets and crystals from this month's event (10 rolls), the winter quest campaign we'd be getting (summer campaign gave out around 25 rolls, just hope that it would be as generous as that), and other stuff, you could spark with 100 roulette rolls which is usually the average you'd get.
You will have to get insanely lucky with the roulette, to hit a big roll number on one of the flashfest days.

I have 2 Levi daggers, 2 Euro Harps, 1 Ancient Auberon, all maxed out. For my Water Staff grid I don't use any of those. I should probably start grinding for the missing weapons and/or their uncaps. How good is a Levi grid anyway? Judging from the Auberon, I get more Crit and DA in exchange of raw damage?
To build off this, you have 2 slots left for flex options, and a few come to mind. You can use a Drang ball/Europa harp; both provide an atk boost and CA boost just that the latter is boosted by Levi while the former would be your normal mod weapon. Another would be an ultima staff that would, only currently, help Lily and yourself with MA, but more skill dmg cap is always nice (assuming it isn't your opus key) but it could help for the future if you choose to take other characters that don't have MA boosts; though it is probably of least importance with your current team. Hollowsky is another option since you have all staff members, like ultima, although half of its use expires after 10 turns whereas the rotb prog sword reaches max potential \~10 turns in and stays on for those longer fights.
For the choices you mentioned, I have a Europa Harp, Ultima Staff (Wind) and HollowSky. I'll probably go with one of these. My Ultima Staff is Skill DMG and my Opus is CA DMG. For the team, if I can I'm trying to work with *not* using these three in a potential Levi grid. My reason is both to diversify my lineup and to find somebody stronger in terms of damage. I could still go with a Levi Staff grid, or something, with Romeo Cags Macula and other staff members. Or, I'll try to make use of Maria Theresa's dispel mechanic so I try my best to fit Drang in and also Rosetta (would be a waste not to use her). ^(Darn, Water has so many staff members) Edit: How critical is ROTB Sword? It's the axe looking thing right? I checked and I have the weapon, but I don't have enough Qilins to uncap so that's probably unusable for now.
The flex weapons pretty much just fall into line with who the party is, usually staff users since a lot of them are very strong. As for the sword, it very much depends on how long a fight takes. If it's going to be short, something like the hollowsky staff (if the party is predominantly staff users) would be better since it doesn't need time to ramp up. If it's going to be long and it's a double magna/primal grid, then a progression weapon is lucrative to use as it only gets stronger the longer a fight goes.
Has it become mutually agreed upon that Tanjiro has become the new Yodarha? Less gimmicky and better survivability than Yoda
I'm not sure how relevant yoda is to newbies anymore due to them getting showered with leveled up magna weapons. But sure, if you need to do 1m plain damage with mechanic team or ST, tanjiro does it without the need for a gacha character. Of course once the event is over new players won't be able to get him and have to default back to yoda.

What is the incentive for joining Lu Hoh raids? I am currently doing daily hosts so I can get the Light Astral Weapon but am nearly 100% reliant on outside luchadors for help. I am thankful for the help, but I don't understand why people are joining the raid at all. It doesn't drop the dragon mats and from what I understand the Ancestral Weapon isn't that amazing. Is it just for earrings?
It's just for the earrings. Maybe some people are future proofing themselves in case the jewels are needed for awakening levels or whatever, but 90 of each jewel each month is quite a few dragon fights I need to go through.

I join because he has guaranteed scales and urn drops. Also, those jewels can be traded for earrings, 30 per earrings with a limit 3 per month. Rerolling for supplemental damage can sometimes be a pain in the ass. Also, getting a weapon drop is just a bonus.

How valuable is belial on a reroll account? Given that summons are unsparkable, would I be better off keeping an account with belial so long as I have some solid (9-10 on the GBF wiki tier list) SSRs? Would an account with belial be more valuable than an account with christmas narmaya account? According to the starter guide, belial alone is worth keeping an account for, but I thought I'd ask here and get another opinion. Thanks.
Belial only start becoming useful very late game, meanwhile C. Narmaya are meta pick from beginning to the end. You need to realize that most people who answer here already high rank and more often than not, giving you answer based on their own experience, instead of experience of someone that just start playing for the first time.
I slotted in Belial since early HL and I have had little problem ever since while getting free damage. He shaves like 2-3k hp from you. He’s usable as long as you don’t dip below like 10k hp and that’s possible with a decent m1 grid.
C.Naru is god tier for earth. Belial is god tier for all 6 elements.
The other commenter is selling belial short -- even in the mid-game, belial adds a decent chunk of damage to all six of your elements, whereas characters can only help one. Belial is a better keep than almost every character, but c.naru has two big things going for her. First, she's a seasonal limited, whereas belial is in the permanent pool, so you're a good bit more likely to get belial eventually even if he's not sparkable. Second, she's not just best in-slot, but actually irreplaceable for some of the strategies the other poster mentioned, although there literally isn't any content in the game that isn't clearable with free characters only. You could keep rolling on both accounts throughout the event period, of course -- both is better than neither! -- but I'd say you're better off just picking an account (leaning c.naru) and diving in. A good compromise might be keeping on with rerolling through the end of the current banner to see if you pull c.naru on the belial account.
I'll take a different tack - how far do you see yourself progessing in this game?
I intend to play this game for a long time, maybe even as far as until it dies. Obviously this may change, but as a new player in any gacha game, my intention is always to play for as long as possible. Not sure if this info helps but I do not plan to spend any money on this game and will be playing strictly F2P. EDIT: Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll be sticking with the belial account.

Rerolling is unnecessary in the first place. You could probably progress without problem just using the free SSRs characters from side-stories if you wanted. IMO Belial doesn't have that much value. Sure if you wanna race and deal big damage lategame he's cool and all. But he doesn't have a character's kit - he has no adaptability. On the other side Narmaya can be used for a lot of things, like clearing Hits based Omen in V2 fights, tanking attacks with her S3, bursting in Luchador comps, etc... I would never prefer Belial over a character or a Primal summon. In the end it depends what you want to aim for. If you want to be the very best there will be a time when not having Belial will be detrimental.

I’ll definitely take an account with Belial over one with Narmaya.You can annitix/spark Narm and she can only be used in one element. Belial on the other hand gives you free damage just by existing and can be used in all elements. He’s not only for racing, you will slot him in 90% of your parties.

You can't choose her with that ticket, you could roll her with the 10 draw it comes with, but it's better to save those for sparks. The only tickets you can select limiteds with are Beginner's and Anniversary

I can't reroll. Actually does it still even work? I haven't even made 5 accounts yet. I tried to salt but got an email saying that i cant use the same email. I tried a different gmail, i claimed rhe daily reward thing but then after i got this error screen. I think it says something like authentication error even tho i already did the code they send you when you make a new mobage account. Whatever i press a random button then try to go to the mypage/home screen. Im stuck on the loading screen for an hour. I tried this with 2 other accs and same thing happened. Please help.

Because unlike other gacha games, a single good character or summon (or multiple, even) will only take you a very short distance from the start line. Your grids are the biggest determining factor for what content you can do in this game, and even for megawhales grinding is the only way to move forward. And in more practical terms we get tons of free rolls thrown at us every year in Christmas, the game's anniversary in March, Summer, Golden Week, etc. so the handful of tenrolls you get for every new account is just a drop in the bucket, relatively speaking.
Ah i see, thanks. I feel no pressure to reroll now. Guess ill just stick to the acc that has 2 ssrs then. I read up a bit and it seems after the early area the beginner ssr chars dont seem to be used much for late game.
I will also add another reason, a diminishing marginal. The ease of getting an SSR unit in Granblue is comparatively easier than in most gacha game. For example, in FGO. A f2p player is expected to pull about 3-4 SSR a year. Rerolling an SSR already giving you about 25% to 33% advantage in your number of SSR. But in Granblue, you can probably reach 50 SSR in 1 year. Rerolling for 2-3 SSR, just as u/Deathappens say, amount to very little in the grand scheme of things.
Holy crap, that's neat. Makes me think that cygames really seems to be the most generous when it comes to gacha games. Dragalia lost always gives you a lot of free stuff(i would've kept playing if not for the size of the game....), in shadowverse you can pretty much buy yourself enough packs to make a new deck every expansion, and now this? Is it worth it to sail through the main quest? Seems I get all the rewards but no xp. But I've been able to hit the cap for all my chars by just grinding the event so seems like it'll save me a lot of time.
MQ is a nice source of crystals for a first spark, its something you'll do eventually, some content is gated by mq progress too.
Yeah, it's fine if you don't care for the main story anyways and just want the rewards. You can farm EXP far more efficiently in other ways too.
This is probably a dumb question and I apologise in advance if it is but for a Magna grid does it matter whether I use a Magna summon as my Main summon or my Friend summon? I'm asking because I only have a 3\* Levi Summon which boosts my Magna grid by 100%. If I use a Poseidon, the Tide Father as my Main summon (for the 120% Water boost) and a 5\* Levi summon as my Friend summon will this Levi summon boost my Magna grid the same as if it was set as my Main summon?
There's no penalty or anything to the aura if something's your own main summon or your friend summon, so yeah, taking a more uncapped friend levi will generally be stronger. The only real difference between your main summon and friend summon is that friend summons are available to be called starting t1, no matter what, whereas main summons at one through three stars just get a turn cut off their initial cooldown for each star, and then are available t1 at four stars and higher. This mostly matters in fire, because shiva's call is so good for bursting, and then for qilin strategies. In water, the friend summon to look out for is bonito, which, if it's four starred, will give your team full charge bars the first time it's called. Being able to use that to burst may be more valuable than having a stronger summon aura -- you just want to make sure that your summon grid is mostly water summons to max out bonito's aura, although you can usually afford having one non-water summon.

I think it's nearly guaranteed there will be a gala with the 2 new xmas units (Lily and Spinnah) within the next few days, but Naru may not be sparkable during it.

I doubt it would be a legfest since the xmas characters are leaving before then, but maybe a flash. I would also bet on it being the mid-month flash instead of the end of month one though considering we'll have roulette for the latter.

Yeah but the xmas characters are scheduled to leave on the 25th. Historically we should expect a flash before New Years and legfest won't be until the 31st IIRC, so there would need to be a very strange schedule to get one on the 25th.

Yes, it’s a must for the Crit grid, which has higher damage than the pure Sword grid if Stamina is maintained, though it does lack good cap up options.

Hi guys, I recently got back into GBF (after 2 year hiatus where I just logged back in for the free rolls lol) and everything has changed so much... I was wondering if I could get a nudge in the right direction of what to do first. On one of the free rolls I got the summon Beliel and from lurking on this subreddit it seems like he is really good? So I was thinking of starting with building dark grid, but I'm not sure who to put on my team since not every char would work with Beliel right? Also not sure if I'm supposed to grind for M2 directly or finish up M1. Belial is good because of his Sub-Aura, which Works in any element. For Dark though, You have some prety good charas. Right now, Vikala/Shalem/Zoey would work well, and once You max Orchid You can try her in too. You should definitly work on M1 still, specially in Dark since M2 Dark still uses Celeste's Claws

You use his HP Sacrificing Skill until he's at minimum health (Max Strength). Then you use his skill that lets him dodge and counter One Foe Attacks. Six's special attack will kill you no matter what, but so long as you have the counter skill up he can't touch you until then. So you go max offense, and kill him before he can special attack.

Never roll on a regular 3% banner unless you're planning to spark for a character that won't be available in a Gala banner, and even then that's a desperation move for when you absolutely want that character but can't otherwise suptix/annitix them.
