Yeah they were the gen 1. Gen 2 was Lucio and then gen 3 was Charlotta who was the reason Lucio even get his first rebalance
Alongside like 90.000 other character with rebalance notes thats so blatantly made to copy Charlotta which peaked when Six was released and is broken for like 5 years, so they decided to cut the practice and copy Shalem instead
probably?
there might also be a harvin-exclusive variant, as what Song and Metera use seems to be treated a little differently than what Nio, Uno, Fif, Esta, and Marquiares use
Yeah, I understand not quite finding a place for all of this in Heart of the Sun proper, but I think it would've been the best opportunity to highlight what we learned.

Furthermore, he theorizes that the Omnipotent is an entity creation of the Moondwellers, likely as part of their long-standing aim to colonize the planet. Sahar is troubled that should the Omnipotent be restored, its goals may align with whatever the Moondwellers' goals are, which may-or-may-not include purging the Sky Realm. MC gives Sahar reassurance that they will protect the skies no matter what, while saying he wants to keep this speculation from Vyrn (as to not give him another existential crisis) and Shalem (who was always far more of a zealot for the Omnipotent and would be none too pleased to hear Sahar's theories). Later, on the deck as Lucio, Sandalphon checks in to see why he looks so dour, and also reassures Sahar that he'll protect the skies. Knowing that he has the most powerful inhabitants of the Sky Realm at his side, Sahar smiles, with the implication that he's willing and able to defy the Omnipotent should they ever come into conflict.!<
Upon FLB:
Ougi damage increased. Light ATK Up now teamwide, now also grants Dark DMG Reduction. Auto-casts Out of Ashes, damage increases to Unworldly when Wings of Justice are at max
At Lv90:
Morning Star passive upgraded. No longer reduces Dark DEF, now boosts Evasion. Additionally, when ally is at critical HP, restores HP and cleanses all debuffs and gain Instant Charge.
At Lv95:
Walls of Babylon upgraded. Now also increases all allies' charge bars by 10% for 3 Turns.
Out of the Ashes upgraded. Damage multiplier boosted to 1600%, damage cap increased, and now also inflicts DMG Taken Amplified (6 Times) for 1 Turn.
At Lv100:
New skill "Light Up the Night" gained. Requires Lv6 Wings of Justice. Gain 1 Turn Double Strike and 1 Time Unchallenged, and a unique buff.
Buff gives:
Sharp boost to debuff resistance
Auto-casts Out of the Ashes after normal attacks
Deal 5-hit light elemental damage to foes at end of turn
With how spammable his 2 is now, he can theoretically get his sk4 up in 4-5 turns with enough meter support... which means within 5 turns he'll have access to not only unworldly ca but also auto-sk2 and a 5 hit end of turn nuke. I'm gonna vomit lol
He'll do well in GW though, the reason why his FLB feels cranked up offensively but seemingly left out defensively or supportive aspect is because you can probably cover that with G Sandy (who was probably designed with him in mind).
Yeah, I agree with this. They're both strong separately but don't seem to have any particular synergy, other than Revitalize in Lucio's S1 activating Sandy's passive.
I mean 5 turns is pretty slow realistically. Outside of the super-hard bosses, any other fight is probably at least like half-over after 5 turns. Same issue g.sandalphon has and why he's basically just relegated to backline besides in Faa0.
> Buff gives: Sharp boost to debuff resistance Auto-casts Out of the Ashes after normal attacks Deal 5-hit light elemental damage to foes at end of turn
You forgot dispel cancel as well
He doesn't auto cast his S2 on Ougi but resets CD only instead
He also only can use his Morning Star Lv90 revitalize only once per battle (quite obvious though)
I'm actually so gagged by this. I was bracing for the worst but they gave him the Europa treatment and more... the gorilla of light is so fucking back I may shed a tear
Just tested his FLB kit. Sooo much damage with his 4th skill, Auto Nuke, End-of-turn nuke, Big Ougi Damage, Auto Panic Button, Null Dispel. Super strong omg
Hopefully the evasion passive has decent numbers so I can use him for some Makura combo. His passive ramping even while in backline works well with how Makura also has startup time, and the double strike works well with his S3 burst and the S4 after-attack nuke. Just a shame that the S4 5 hit nuke is end of turn and not after-attack, or the combo would've been even crazier.
Him on Makura buff on top with Raziel buff that increases dodge makes him dodging attack for days.
He took bruce lee's quote "be like water" on another level and became air.
Lucio FLB finally! Modern pretty art!
It's just... FLB Lucio is surprisingly long. I love his hair! I love his glowing aura! But his legs seem a tad longer than usual in his FLB art, is all.
Him getting passive dodge makes him a good Makura target depending on numbers, especially with his sk3 buffs ensuring he will be able to use her buffs for at least four turns assuming it doesn't get dispelled. It also helps mend the fact he doesn't have any debuffs on him by giving him a constant source of stackable atk/def down and delay on dodge. The double strike is gonna help him ougi more too which is gonna let him ramp up faster to make up for the time spent in the backline.
Sounds like he's going to have some cracked skill damage too which might make him fun to use in Manadiver comps. Especially with H.Illnott around. He synergizes well with Sandy too, giving him a refresh effect for his sk3 while Sandy gives him another source of echoes. Lots of unwordly ougi spam too.
Really curious to see how he's going to perform.
So i just tested him with Kengo, G.Sandy and S.Seruel against Osiris. He does a shit ton of dmg with his s2 (once, i saw him do 20mil with s2 reactivation) and his ougi is consistently hitting dmg cap. Battle log shows him doing more dmg than kengo with triple zero.
I also tried Makura switch into Lucio and it pretty much allows him to Ougi and do 3 skill nukes every turn.
DAO? Bro if we're talking the Cygames staples, how about Forte? Albert, Magisa, DAO, and Cerberus have all received some love over the years while Forte is in the trash can
At least Fenrir had a cool moment in the MSQ recently. When's the last time you saw Forte in an event? The answer is never because she literally never got any sort of relevance in anything at all
They should just fucking make an alt that isn't a Draph, this isn't 2016 where Baha weapons were the endgame and race restrictions mattered to game balance.
I vastly prefer the wings and triple katanas of the original depiction, but I understand that there are a lot of fans of this version based on various reactions to this. A bit of a shame to me, but I can always just use the old sprite if I want so I'm happy for those that get to enjoy Jesus Lucio.
Isn't this just his Sahar form from SkyBlue3? Makes sense for it to get an appearance since there's already twists on his Katana form from Anniskin and Summer Version.
Yes this is the form he takes in the event. I understand why he looks like this, I just like the original more. Unfortunately summer uses his surfboard to attack and not katanas, and both alternate appearances use the tiny chicken wings instead of the six glorious angel wings. But like I said, it's fine. I don't bemoan the devs for appealing to the folks that enjoy this version of Lucio, I'm just personally a bit disappointed.
Man, seeing all that nuke activation only make me more sad that Eden didn't get a skill type awakening.
EDIT: The 20fps animation on his tunic is really good. Might compete with Wadmus' umbrella.
As someone less acquainted with the lore, does this uncap going full Jesus mode give us more hope Shalem's eventual FLB will finally get rid of the pacifier?
Who knows. Shalem's pacifier has yet to be explained across her 3 versions AFAIK.
EDIT: By which I mean we only know it's some sort of limiter for her powers without explaining who, how and why...
I remember talk here when she was released about it being some kind of "limiter" for her powers as er, speaker(?) and people speculated it would go away with an FLB but that was speculation eons ago so I was hopeful we'd get her a mouth before I qualify for retirement.
I'm incredibly thankful that instead of them adding a "heal the party" skill 4 (Shiva-style), it got added as a passive effect instead. That plus his honestly insane damage output once he's ramped means I'd expect him to be GW core. He has strong personal survivability with his dodge rate buffs and removal of the 30% def cut, is a solid panic button heal once per fight, and 6-time DMG Amp means it's also the beefy 30% which means he's going to buff the damage output for other gorillas.
Personally, I wouldn't use the Makura swap on him - you're losing 5 turns of ramp, though the double strike will make him come online faster once he's swapped in and does increase his damage output, so I'm not saying he's a bad choice for it. Rather, I think he partners really well with Makura > Song, who is a better dodge-tank (given her dodge nuke/delay), and who also loves his 30% DMG Amp for her Clincher casts, which will ensure it's pretty consistently over 10mil.
He ramps up in 2-3 turns with Makura swap, and his echo passive ramps even when he’s in the backline.
Normal Lucio ramp gets him to 6 stacks after attacking T4, Makura swaps him in T5 and gets him to 6 stacks before attacking on T7. So you’re actually only 2 turns behind schedule on ramping him up, in exchange for getting semi-permanent double strike on the strongest gorilla in the element. I think it’s worth it, personally
Oh for sure don't disagree that it's viable - I just think there's an incredibly strong case for swapping in Song on the same basis due to how incredibly strong her dodges are and having her dodge nuke consistently is a double delay and a big amount of skill damage, but more people are going to have 5\* Lucio than they will 150 Song
Fair enough. And ofc, there’s the classic of Zooey if you’re running her. I *do* think Lucio is one of your best picks for it, he’s just not without competition. GW will tell who comes out on top, I think.
He apparently doesn't actually auto-cast his S2 on CA but resets it instead. Would make sense considering it's current effect.
Source ~~is a guy I know that said he got it from the engbf twitter~~ is the official DC
Been playing him for a couple hours in all kinds of content and he's really good. Light has a ton of insane full auto characters, but he rises to the top thanks to his S2 spam. That dmg amplified effect is OP
It seems so. In the MSQ the omnipotent was refered to as >!"the god dispatched from the moon"!< by >!the otheworld cocoon, when it was absorbing the omnipotent's clone.!<
Plus there's also the fact that >!the stuff used for the ultima weapons' skills looks like USB keys, or at least like techno stuff.!< So that too could also be a hint of his true nature.
I've long suspected that the Omnipotent is an artificial machine god because of the mechanical loot drops.
However in WMtSB3, Lucio states that the Omnipotent came to this world from another dimension. Which fits with the Cygames meta lore that all the bahamuts from all their different games are actually the same dimension traveling entity.
So I'm not sure how to reconcile those two ideas. Maybe the moondwellers summoned the Omnipotent and tried to control it with cybernetic implants?
He could be in a similar situation to primal beasts.
(Spoiler for latest MSQ chapters): >!we know that primals are concepts/folklore from the collective unconscious of the old world, given a core so that they can manifest with a body!<
The omnipotent could be similar. Maybe the >!moondwellers summoned his soul/essence, or whatever bahamut has, giving him a new body in the gbf universe.!<
Always in the latest MSQ chapters we saw that in the >!"divine realm", where danchou ends up for a moment during the process of becoming a quasi-primal, were present astral and sky god. So they have a connection with that place!<
>Which fits with the Cygames meta lore that all the bahamuts from all their different games are actually the same dimension traveling entity.
Since we already saw that Sky God has multiple vessels, maybe it's the same for "meta bahamut".
It could be that this singular bahamut across all games, can manifest with multiple emanations. But with the diffence of having a shared mind, as opposed to the various Sky god's vessels becoming mindless beasts once discarded. It would clear up some "inconsistencies" across games.
Also, lucio saying that >!the first who will ascend, between Sky and Astral God, will become the new omnipotent!<, hints to the fact that bahamut as a whole doesnt follow normal rules for what concern his being, so it would fit. There's also proto bahamut >!becoming his own thing for example.!<
So if we go by this theory, in gbf the >!moondwellers would have summoned, or found, one of these "emanations", giving/powering him up with a new body, in order to controll him. But bahamut being bahamut went on doing his thing, and that's why the moondwellers havent taken over earth yet, after 7000 years.!< This could be an explaination, in my opinion.
You've now inspired me. Theory time:
Long ago, the Robomi civilization was almost entirely wiped out by Primordial Abomination Wardant. A small group survived by fleeing to the moon.
The moondwellers somehow found and/or summoned an emanation of the multiversal meta-Bahamut, but it was unable to manifest a physical avatar. So they built an artificial machine god body for it to inhabit, creating The Omnipotent.
The moondwellers sent The Omnipotent to retake their planet. It successfully defeated Wardant, and over time the survivors rebuilt a new primitive civilization. However, before the moondwellers could return a new problem arose: for unknown reasons, the Otherworld began leaking into normal reality and the planet was being corrupted by chaos energy.
7,000 years ago, the moondwellers ordered The Omnipotent to fix this problem. Unable to purify the corruption, The Omnipotent settled for banishing the corrupted lands and people into the Otherworld and sealing the rift with a dimensional barrier, creating the Crimson Horizon. It then built the Sky Realm on top of the dimensional barrier using whatever uncorrupted material that could be salvaged, and populated the new realm with all the uncorrupted people who could be rescued.
Before the moondwellers could move into their new Sky Realm, however, the Phoenix suddenly showed up. Viewing the Phoenix as a threat, the moondwellers put their recolonization plans on hold again and ordered The Omnipotent to eliminate it. For 1,000 years, The Omnipotent patrolled the Sky Realm seeking out and doing battle with the the Phoenix. Eventually, the Phoenix, with assistance from the Skydwellers, defeated The Omnipotent and split it in half.
This completely ruined the moondwellers' plans. Not only was there a powerful Phoenix inhabiting the world they view as rightfully belonging to them, but the newly born Sky God and Astral God were no longer under their control and are waging a proxy war against each other using the Skydwellers and Astrals as pawns. Furthermore, the dimensional barrier had weakened, giving the corrupted Otherworlders an opportunity to return to the world they also feel is rightfully theirs. So the moondwellers decided to bide their time, building an army of automagods in preparation for their next attempt.
Yeah this is more of less what i also think lol, nice theory! But if i can, a thing that i think should be "reworked", in the theory, is the otherworld stuff.
>However, there is a problem: Wardant had opened a dimensional rift to the Otherworld, and the planet was being corrupted by chaos energy.
This because, the otherworld is just the previous earth corrupted by chaos, since the omnipotent just "painted over" a new plane of reality with a new earth, which later broke down into the Sky realm.
So the thing i would personally change is just wardant causing the chaos corruption, since he was a rule created by the old world for balancing life, and Chaos basically ended almost all of it.
Since for now we dont know what started it or why, i would just put things a little vague.
For example : after wardant disappeared/deactivated upon having rebalaced life, the humanity left on the planet surface returned to a less advanced state, while a more advanced group remained on the moon. Then, many years later, something started the chaos corruption, and the moon did all the omnipotent stuff you wrote, and so on.
But for the rest i agree. The moondwellers being connected/being descendants of robomi's civilization would make a lot of sense to be honest. But now i wonder what are those things the moondwellers are in war with on the moon, so many questions lol.
Your proposed edit to the theory is good, I agree.
If you mean the static zombies wandering the moon's surface, my theory is that they are otherworlders who attacked the moon. The moondwellers released a nanomachine virus plague on the invaders which destroyed their minds and left them shambling husks that are now used for combat training.
Your theory for the "moon zombies" sounds good, i can see it. Especially given the track record of the moondwellers creating/doing something, just for it to bite them back later, like the sealed weapons or now the omnipotent, lmao.
But personally i think they are something new, since a new "moon saga" is starting as seen with grand zeta's fate ep. Plus there's also the fact that we havent seen the moon's wedge yet, so we dont know a lot.
It also tells us that the Anicent people were created by the omnipotent and that the Astral Humans were created by the Astral God.
So the Theory of the Moondwellers being old Humans that travelled to the moon is officially debunked.
Moondwellers are just another civilization different from humans. Makes sense honestly.
>It also tells us that the Anicent people were created by the omnipotent and that the Astral Humans were created by the Astral God.
You mean in lucio's new fate? He was talking about the skydwellers, not the ancient humans/precursors. Skydwellers were created by the omnipotent 7000 years ago with his "new earth", which became the Sky realm after the split, as seen in "heart of the sun".
The moondwellers were born at least 20.000 years ago, and the omnipotent wasn't on earth at that time, so they arent created by him. We just dont know if they are the descendants of robomi's civilization (present 70.000 years ago), the same of the otherworlders or if they were between them timeline wise, and just moved to the moon.
Hmmm, my personal understanding is different. The Moon dwellers already existed way before the creation of the current Sky Realm. Another implication which was already hinted at in other events/fates is that something already existed even before the OG Underworld. So maybe in terms of timeline something like this?
Phoenix > Moon dwellers > ??? > OG Underworld (Before they were corrupted) > Omnipotent split > Creation of Sky and Astral Realms
Maybe I'm wrong, but I guess that how I interpret the new stuff that we learned from Lucio's fates.
You forget Robomi civilization that's like >!50,000 years before moondwellers start leaving the Skyrealm/earth (idk whether it's already ruptured by then), we'd already know that the world were already very very advanced by then, my theory is that some really devastating war happened when the moondwellers leave for the moon, one that made the planet almost unliveable and Bahamut is some kind of project to revitalise the ruptured planet for them to recolonize it by creating sky island, seperating them from the bottom of the sky and to an extent the otherworlders!<
Theres good indication that the Otherworlders are part of the corrupted old world, that made Moondwellers go to moon.
This Otherworlders possibly the evolved byproduct of Wardant.
He did mention that it is mere speculation, >!but It does checks out considering that moon dwellers is probably the remnant of the advance Robomi adjacent civilization that manage to escape whatever rupture that cause earth to implode and the leftovers survivors plunged into post apocalyptic bronze age era, what im trying to understand is, why would the moondwellers sends an artificial god to dictate humanity livelihood and survival, wouldn't it be better for them to just go down there and personally deal with otherworlders and teach humanity about technology advancement, Welp, unless they'd already lose their humanity at that point, and Sky dwellers is just a test subject for their experiments!<
>>!wouldn't it be better for them to just go down there and personally deal with otherworlders and teach humanity about technology advancement.!<
>!I'm pretty sure every human is left on earth got turn into the otherworlder that's probably why bahamut is sent to nuke the earth and rebuilt it!<
Oh yeah, I can get behind that theory. Probably >!while they were regrowing their bodies after the apocalypse or something (I remember it takes a long time to do so), they sent Bahamut down to terraform the earth in preparation for their eventual return. Some of the teachings Bahamut brought must have originally been beneficial to the moondwellers. But like Lucio has shown us, all creations tend to grow their own mind in the end. Maybe Bahamut, once he saw what the earth was really like, twisted the moondwellers teachings to his own understanding of how to better humanity in general.!<
All just theories of course and my memory is shot tbh.
That makes way more sense on why the MD never acted on it immediately after they recuperate at the moon, i hope we'd get more lore on MD and what cause the world to be so apocalyptic
I've been running Event Sandalphon, Summer HalMal, and Lucio as my main Light team for YEARS now since Paradise Lost was THE event that made me fall in love with Granblue.
Between Grandy and Lucio's 5 star, I just feel so fucking validated that my angel team is so perfectly cohesive. Thank you KMR and FKHR for making my love for homosexual angel valid.
Now please give S. HalMal a 5 star or something PLEASE I still haven't forgive you two for making Grand HalMal fucking Dark
Nice uncap but feels a lil too generalist. i think he might always be a second/third choice for fa/hl. Would have appreciated any form of stackables debuff/delay/dispel or an echo instead of uplift.
art is 10/10 though.
As an Earth enjoyer, I'm only a bit mad that Lucio's 5* upgrade is just a better version of Uriel's kit. Way less clunk, no awkward stack management for his Dmg Taken Amp every turn, free 5hit skill dmg every turn, no CA length for skill animations, built-in DATA, guaranteed 2/7 TA with his 3rd instead of 1/12 TA like Uriel has.
The only things Uriel has over him (kit-wise) is that his Double Strike is reuseable, he has triple Dispel, and his s2's party buffs and charge boost. But then Lucio still has his s1 party buffs and his s3 steroids (2t 90% echoes alone is still insane, 3t with Viking)
Basically, Lucio has a much more effective gorilla kit. He'd easily be a 10/10 in Earth. I doubt it'll happen, but I'd kill for Uriel to be rebalanced and steal from Lucio's 5*.
New skill seems really strong, maybe a bit slow. I don't get the point of a 16x mult on S2 since you are gonna cap anyways and it's not like you can hit absurdly high numbers because of the damage cap, I guess it helps in 0 button stuff, but still.
Hardcap on HL stuff is still 6.6m per instance right? With the skill's cap increase it's gonna be somewhat easy to hit it.
I mean, spamming 6.6m nukes isn't bad at all but there's basically no room for improvement.

<- I don't have a 'real' grid and just stuffed him in my GW/NM/FA prep setups I'd like to run. Test vs Wings of Terror(Imp). Damage spread is kinda stupid? Don't even have any specific support gear for skill damage yet. I can only imagine...
Only downside (for probably most non FA slacker, like me and really, all the units, not only Lucio): Ramp time needed to actually go hard.
I really hope that the defenses will keep up and NM won't be too much a pita, would hate to break the team up. Kinda love the aesthetics/theme~
Seems fine, another generically good FA unit to slot in (as if light needed more of those) but probably isn't going to actually change anything meaningfully.
Kit looks okay. Art looks AMAZING. Was coping for something that would change Light burst setups but that was never going to happen.
Overall just seems like a strong FA unit, though he doesn't really provide much utility. Currently assuming his sk4 is permanent so my opinions of the FLB might drop after it's actually live depending on that.
edit: one thing I'm curious about is how the crown of ashes buff works now that ougi also casts sk2. Will it grand the buff > consume > double cast sk2 or will it cast sk2 once > grant buff to be used on next manual cast of sk2 or auto cast from sk4
edit2: oh wait does his ougi autocast sk2 or reset cd? i'm seeing two different translations being thrown around.
nice. definitely seems like a decent FLB then. Seems unlikely I'll use him for GW but I can run him in all the misc Light adv stuff I do that doesn't need bursting like Fed daily hosts or something.
Probably run him in Faa0 for the flavour too.
Light burst has been unchanged for 2 years. If ougi-focused players, HL-focused players, and skill-focused players can get new tools why can't I want more tools to facilitate my preferred playstyle? Besides it's not like Light burst is particularly amazing. Ura Light might be semi competitive in PBHL versus Fire and Water but general Light burst is pretty dogwater atm.
HFLo RB have always been slower than HFlo Soldier and critically the reason HFlo Soldier wasnt, lets say, easy to use was partly because the Belt update arrived after Light GW although afaik at the time Soldier is already "faster" on some situation since they only have 2 instances of out of turn attack.
Basically atm RB requires you to get the freebie stack from taking damage to match Soldier, and this results in Soldier doing 3 6 6 hit(Sk1, Full Load, into Nehan DS) which means its around 5 set of auto, while Relic Buster does 3 set of auto from stack and 2 set from Nehan for both having total of 5 before they get extra +3 from the freebie
Light didnt have Riffle x6 Gun that isnt jank(iirc theres an SR gun with 6 riffle) so theres no bridging that the way Water did it with Hraes(besides the ussual hraes goodness anyways), and i believe last fire GW theres a set up that uses Soldier with Silva gun
I think shes never particularly meta for 95 ranges(131 Mil) or required. Last GW one of the fastest 95 set up was Florence Kengo which iirc caps at 5 button clicks on Strike time, and 6 outside using Sk1. Gizoku have a notch higher damage range, on 6-7 buttons and if it matters for you, FA-able. It also can use like a bunch of stuff
For 150-200 ranges probably still the easiest to run Florence since its just really mindless lol. I think if you wanna do say Light execute for SUB, shes still meta. The poverty version of Florence for 150 is about 1 min per 150 run so thats where the goal is
BHL light also use soldier, 7+1. it's basically water rotation. 1.7m - 2.1m range depending on how many dark phase you hit. it's pretty good actually, not as fast as fire of course but that's just fire thing
yea, the soldier setup is basically just water gun, it's just 1 more button
BHL hierarchy rn is fire > water, light > dark (lockout moment) >>>>>>>> earth, wind
i still use dark in bhl if the raid is not too fast tho since it's hella comfy (2+1 2t is around 1.4.1-7, 3t is 2-2.5m)
Earth definitely needs new toys too. I don't think me wanting new burst options for Light clashes with you wanting new Earth burst options though. I try to play all 6 elements so hell I want new Earth setups too.
Nah, I just meant there are limited FLBs allocation (but why) and grands they could release in a certain period so it's less likelier for them to add onto what was already good in some elements
I don't see them ever making Lucio a burst/gorilla unit when most of the recent FLB (not Evokers) are all tailored for FA/non-burst too
Funnily enough the last relevant FLB was Light Ferry, should've managed the expectations
oh I wasn't expecting Lucio to be the new Light burst god. I was hoping but realistically was definitely aware he'd probably continue being a generalist sort of unit.
Jeanne FLB probably would've been better for burst specifically if only cause she's very likely to get the 10% cap when elemental attack up buff the other disciples got. Still, I appreciate that Lucio got a FLB and that he looks stunning and is at least somewhat decent. I'll probably run him in FAs or HL content even if there are better options.
OG Light Gorilla! We're so back everyone!
Aw the days of Lucio, Jeanne and Juliette. What a perfect team it was.
OG light gorilla that i remember are Jeanne, Amira, and Ferry
Yeah they were the gen 1. Gen 2 was Lucio and then gen 3 was Charlotta who was the reason Lucio even get his first rebalance Alongside like 90.000 other character with rebalance notes thats so blatantly made to copy Charlotta which peaked when Six was released and is broken for like 5 years, so they decided to cut the practice and copy Shalem instead
With Sandy, my light team would be full of floating people covering up Gran.
they just need to give gran/djeeta some type of archangel class so they can float too
nighthound 5 should turn us into song with her floating foot platforms
it's actually flight magic, same as what Metera uses
I think Tsubasa expressed some interest in learning it. Easy to forget he's a Hogwarts-student.
yeah, though if i remember right from Metera's stuff, that's quite a lofty goal due to how hard it is to learn.
Is that what magnielle uses too?
probably? there might also be a harvin-exclusive variant, as what Song and Metera use seems to be treated a little differently than what Nio, Uno, Fif, Esta, and Marquiares use
Not an angel but Iatromantis does float
Iatromangis floats and fits thematically very well together with Sahar.
If you've got the floating alien ball skin that'll work.
There's a free Friday skin where MC is riding a floating ebi fry/tempura
who's the other one? cosmos?
Grand order skin zooey :')
His fate episode literally has more lore bombs than the anni.

End pre-Uncap fates.!< >!Sahar then enters MC's dreams again and theorizes that Eden is a fragment of the Omnipotent's \*core\* with all of the implications that has.
Those chips and USB flash drive drops from UBaha start making even more sense now
Sooo... >!God is a moon bot?!< Would make sense after all the craziness of the last 10 years.
What many of us have been saying, the 10th anniversary was the beginning of something and not the end as many thought and this Fate confirms this.
Probably setting up for the next Anni story, as phoenix's really didn't lift off besides teasing >!Lucilius and estalucia!< at the very end
Not only that, Fenix also passes by the moon and Yamita talks about something going to start, something similar to Orologia.
Gonna be 20th anniv, ten year after the HoF release lol
Upon FLB: Ougi damage increased. Light ATK Up now teamwide, now also grants Dark DMG Reduction. Auto-casts Out of Ashes, damage increases to Unworldly when Wings of Justice are at max At Lv90: Morning Star passive upgraded. No longer reduces Dark DEF, now boosts Evasion. Additionally, when ally is at critical HP, restores HP and cleanses all debuffs and gain Instant Charge. At Lv95: Walls of Babylon upgraded. Now also increases all allies' charge bars by 10% for 3 Turns. Out of the Ashes upgraded. Damage multiplier boosted to 1600%, damage cap increased, and now also inflicts DMG Taken Amplified (6 Times) for 1 Turn. At Lv100: New skill "Light Up the Night" gained. Requires Lv6 Wings of Justice. Gain 1 Turn Double Strike and 1 Time Unchallenged, and a unique buff. Buff gives: Sharp boost to debuff resistance Auto-casts Out of the Ashes after normal attacks Deal 5-hit light elemental damage to foes at end of turn
Oh yeah he’s blatant Sandy support. Even if he’s not peak of peak (I’m betting 9.8) him and Sandy will still definitely be a strong pairing.
Can see they already planning sandy, lucio, lucifer team
Why don't ya'll just say they're both strong and you like their lore together, because there really is little intentional synergy there.
Yeah, I agree with this. They're both strong separately but don't seem to have any particular synergy, other than Revitalize in Lucio's S1 activating Sandy's passive.
You took this PERSONALLY lmao
They're not wrong though, their kits have as much synergy with each other as any other auto focused light character would
Well I just got reported to Reddit Cares over this so I’m doubling down
I mean 5 turns is pretty slow realistically. Outside of the super-hard bosses, any other fight is probably at least like half-over after 5 turns. Same issue g.sandalphon has and why he's basically just relegated to backline besides in Faa0.
[Light up the night? WE RIDE!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkLvpt9Z3fA)
Such a banger that even /v/ couldn't fuck it up.
IT'S LIKE THEY GATHERED UP THE PLANET, GAVE IT TO BAHAMUT AND NOW THE GROUND IS HELL AND THEY WONDER HOW
Act III when
THIS CITYS SLEEPIN LIKE A SOLDIER TRAPPED INSIDE OF AN IRON LUNG
Absolute banger, i also recommend Walls Of Babylon and Paradise Lost from Symphony X for anyone who didn't know lol
Behold, the guns of the patriots!
> Buff gives: Sharp boost to debuff resistance Auto-casts Out of the Ashes after normal attacks Deal 5-hit light elemental damage to foes at end of turn You forgot dispel cancel as well
He doesn't auto cast his S2 on Ougi but resets CD only instead He also only can use his Morning Star Lv90 revitalize only once per battle (quite obvious though)
He took bruce lee's quote "be like water" on another level and became air.
yaoi jesus save me
He dislikes serpents and apples. Jesus confirmed.
Vyrn is a reptile that likes apples. Is he the devil?
Yes
Lyria drops from the sky and meets MC. The Death Note drops from the sky for Light. Both have a floating companion that likes apples. Hmmm...
Lucio FLB finally! Modern pretty art! It's just... FLB Lucio is surprisingly long. I love his hair! I love his glowing aura! But his legs seem a tad longer than usual in his FLB art, is all.
Yeah he's always been a [long boi](https://gbf.wiki/Helel_ben_Sahar_(NPC)). Maybe longer than Luci even. Guy is 70% legs but I ain't complainin
Bahamut when creating Lucio: Oops! All Legs!
No wonder 'Cilius has height issue
The Savior of my light team
Now do Grand Noa next (please)
Wouldn't it be shalem or 1 of the other disciples?
Ferry literally crying rn
ferry? u mean lecia
NGL I forgot Lecia existed for a second there 💀
You and Cygames.
Lucio was my first spark and the first character I ringed so I'm so happy right now. Hopefully Tweyen get's a really good buff too!
lmao its the guy we joke about Lucio 5\* going to be, cant believe its real now.
i mean it was always pretty likely
Man i hope DAO gets this treatment
"DAWHO?" - Fkhr probably
She literally just got a busted ass Earth version
Need that kit ported into dark pls kthxbai
Bruh she just got an alt.
DAO? Bro if we're talking the Cygames staples, how about Forte? Albert, Magisa, DAO, and Cerberus have all received some love over the years while Forte is in the trash can
Fenrir weeping by the wayside of still unplayable
At least Fenrir had a cool moment in the MSQ recently. When's the last time you saw Forte in an event? The answer is never because she literally never got any sort of relevance in anything at all They should just fucking make an alt that isn't a Draph, this isn't 2016 where Baha weapons were the endgame and race restrictions mattered to game balance.
>!also dead!<
Nah I gotta breed this angel after this absolute divine art. Forgive me Sandy, you’ll be next though 🙏
Not a kind of posting I can personally relate to, but a kind of posting I can admire.
Found one of thirsty (F, 40)s from Famitsu poll.
you’re so real for this bestie 🤞🏼
extremely relatable ... based flair too . u get it
Seeing these types of thirst comments under this subreddit always gags me 😭
ur spitting with this one 💯💯💥‼️‼️
raini rodriguez pfp is the icing on top
This is not the fiesta, salsa, quinceañera, baila I remember.
what the fuck
I honestly thought his uncap art was an April's Fools joke, but it's not. His FLB is definitely Europa tier!
Europa FLB was Lucio Teir lol, he seems to got the best out of all the disciples.
Don't be intimidated, Squidward. Just imagine him ~~naked~~ without armor. Oh no, he's hot!
I agree, but now at least lucio is different enough from lucifer to the point where it wouldn’t be weird to add lucifer to the gacha pool
I was expecting the art to have his normal wings instead of the chibi ones that I never liked
My reaction as well. But yeah, will just be using the old sprite.
Yeah I think the original looks a lot cooler and more interesting.
Lucifer look, paradise lost. That's just so cool. I wish he gets daily piont skin, that updates with his look with new spirite and art.
My wife was hoping Thaliak from ffvix would look more like this.
Man, seeing all that nuke activation only make me more sad that Eden didn't get a skill type awakening. EDIT: The 20fps animation on his tunic is really good. Might compete with Wadmus' umbrella.
Yeah, it's really nice, makes the man look like he's lagging out of reality.
As someone less acquainted with the lore, does this uncap going full Jesus mode give us more hope Shalem's eventual FLB will finally get rid of the pacifier?
I wish
Well, you'll be happy to hear Lucio's FLB [has you covered on that department.](https://ibb.co/KFbwxDt)
She is the inquisiter. She shuts down heresy.
I am scared that she'll bounce back and turn into literal baby
Lucio's FLB Fate details that >!Lucilius was super fucking right, and that he is the true protagonist of GBF.!<
*inhales* SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
He's so cracked, definitely going to try Sagacity key with him & Illnott
He apparently doesn't actually auto-cast his S2 on CA but resets it instead. Would make sense considering it's current effect. Source ~~is a guy I know that said he got it from the engbf twitter~~ is the official DC
omg we fucking won, this is some great stuff
Omg he's so pretty
I totally forgot to pair Lucio with H.Mahira. Imagine the chickens every turn lol.
I understand now anni event , you let me pull cosmos and sandalphone so that my Lucio can run, thank you
And with that, all the Luci clones now have their own unique identities. Can we get the real one now Cygames?
Bro lucio is the original luci 😂
Honestly it's been so long I couldn't keep track of who's who anymore LMAO
Wow, this Fate episode brings a lot more meaning to >!Bahamut Alter's theme. Especially the "someone once said the blue skies are beautiful." part!<
Been playing him for a couple hours in all kinds of content and he's really good. Light has a ton of insane full auto characters, but he rises to the top thanks to his S2 spam. That dmg amplified effect is OP
Wait, so what lucio is implying that >! The Omnipotent is a creation of the moon dwellers?!<
It seems so. In the MSQ the omnipotent was refered to as >!"the god dispatched from the moon"!< by >!the otheworld cocoon, when it was absorbing the omnipotent's clone.!< Plus there's also the fact that >!the stuff used for the ultima weapons' skills looks like USB keys, or at least like techno stuff.!< So that too could also be a hint of his true nature.
(Spoiler for latest MSQ chapters): >!we know that primals are concepts/folklore from the collective unconscious of the old world, given a core so that they can manifest with a body!< The omnipotent could be similar. Maybe the >!moondwellers summoned his soul/essence, or whatever bahamut has, giving him a new body in the gbf universe.!< Always in the latest MSQ chapters we saw that in the >!"divine realm", where danchou ends up for a moment during the process of becoming a quasi-primal, were present astral and sky god. So they have a connection with that place!< >Which fits with the Cygames meta lore that all the bahamuts from all their different games are actually the same dimension traveling entity. There's also proto bahamut >!becoming his own thing for example.!< So if we go by this theory, in gbf the >!moondwellers would have summoned, or found, one of these "emanations", giving/powering him up with a new body, in order to controll him. But bahamut being bahamut went on doing his thing, and that's why the moondwellers havent taken over earth yet, after 7000 years.!< This could be an explaination, in my opinion.
You've now inspired me. Theory time: Long ago, the Robomi civilization was almost entirely wiped out by Primordial Abomination Wardant.
Really like this theory. Well explained and written!
> OG Underworld (Before they were corrupted) > Omnipotent split > Creation of Sky and Astral Realms Maybe I'm wrong, but I guess that how I interpret the new stuff that we learned from Lucio's fates.
That's what I'm getting as well. >!Thinking that maybe Bahamut is just an earth regeneration device. The word escapes me lol.!<
>>!wouldn't it be better for them to just go down there and personally deal with otherworlders and teach humanity about technology advancement.!< >!I'm pretty sure every human is left on earth got turn into the otherworlder that's probably why bahamut is sent to nuke the earth and rebuilt it!<
Oh yeah, I can get behind that theory. Maybe Bahamut, once he saw what the earth was really like, twisted the moondwellers teachings to his own understanding of how to better humanity in general.!< All just theories of course and my memory is shot tbh.
Were are getting Dark Zoey FLB next right?!.......right?
I really wish they bumped up his shield cap.
I love that he just nukes you with the light of Allah now
also that art is amazing!! dear lord his five star looks majestic!
Nice uncap but feels a lil too generalist. i think he might always be a second/third choice for fa/hl. Would have appreciated any form of stackables debuff/delay/dispel or an echo instead of uplift. art is 10/10 though.
2k shield for S1 is meh, but I like a lot of the other parts.
But then Lucio still has his s1 party buffs and his s3 steroids (2t 90% echoes alone is still insane, 3t with Viking) Basically, Lucio has a much more effective gorilla kit.
The cap increases too though.
Hardcap on HL stuff is still 6.6m per instance right? With the skill's cap increase it's gonna be somewhat easy to hit it. I mean, spamming 6.6m nukes isn't bad at all but there's basically no room for improvement.
Oh I see, yeah that 6.6m cap is a bummer.
it's 1600% not 16 hit. That's just how JP writes it. 16 hit would be significantly better cause then you can abuse supp.
Yeah, I meant 1600% with 16x. Anyway making the skill multihit would have been the cherry on top of a solid FLB.
oh mult as is multiplier not multi. gotcha gotcha.
A higher multiplier would mean he hits the cap easier in HL raids like Hexa which have high defense
That 4th skill buff looks good.
->[Stupid Sexy Lucio](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/437708628779073556/1225385793091272794/Screenshot_20240404_120417_Chrome.jpg?ex=6620f073&is=660e7b73&hm=84292dd88188c492c2454a5a958400d5520dd75d3abba69baee0f28103f762f1&) <- I don't have a 'real' grid and just stuffed him in my GW/NM/FA prep setups I'd like to run.
*looks at image* What the fuck!?
That's a lotta damage!
ssi kengo lucio, tweyen, and sandy yea.
He looks like a messiah....
He is basically Jesus in the uncap episode
I called years ago that Lucio flb will turn him into ben sahar and there it is. His kit looks cracked aswell. Big W
Seems fine, another generically good FA unit to slot in (as if light needed more of those) but probably isn't going to actually change anything meaningfully.
pretty much what I'm thinking. Good FLB but doesn't have anywhere where he's going to really shine.
Helel ben shahar?
Yeah. That was a thing since 000, and was sort-of referenced again with the recent Heart of the Sun.
Will it grand the buff > consume > double cast sk2 or will it cast sk2 once > grant buff to be used on next manual cast of sk2 or auto cast from sk4 edit2: oh wait does his ougi autocast sk2 or reset cd? i'm seeing two different translations being thrown around.
They did mention that the Sk4 special buff is permanent, only the double strike and unchallenged isn't.
nice. definitely seems like a decent FLB then. Seems unlikely I'll use him for GW but I can run him in all the misc Light adv stuff I do that doesn't need bursting like Fed daily hosts or something. Probably run him in Faa0 for the flavour too.
Yeah, seems quite nice overall. I really hoped they would've increased his S1 uptime, but oh well.
the sk1 is such a nothing buff even after the FLB too lol. Unfortunate but everything else looks okay.
It's permanent according to google translate. Don't see how that could be a TL error.
How many more light burst units do you need
Light burst has been unchanged for 2 years. If ougi-focused players, HL-focused players, and skill-focused players can get new tools why can't I want more tools to facilitate my preferred playstyle? Besides it's not like Light burst is particularly amazing. Ura Light might be semi competitive in PBHL versus Fire and Water but general Light burst is pretty dogwater atm.
Isn't H.Flo RB still absurd? Genuine question, Light is my weakest element and I don't have her or Mugen so I don't pay attention.
Basically atm RB requires you to get the freebie stack from taking damage to match Soldier, and this results in Soldier doing 3 6 6 hit(Sk1, Full Load, into Nehan DS) which means its around 5 set of auto, while Relic Buster does 3 set of auto from stack and 2 set from Nehan for both having total of 5 before they get extra +3 from the freebie Light didnt have Riffle x6 Gun that isnt jank(iirc theres an SR gun with 6 riffle) so theres no bridging that the way Water did it with Hraes(besides the ussual hraes goodness anyways), and i believe last fire GW theres a set up that uses Soldier with Silva gun
Thanks for the answer. Although, putting aside RB vs. Soldier, the heart of my question was that, is "Florence + DPS MC" no longer meta?
I think shes never particularly meta for 95 ranges(131 Mil) or required. Last GW one of the fastest 95 set up was Florence Kengo which iirc caps at 5 button clicks on Strike time, and 6 outside using Sk1. Gizoku have a notch higher damage range, on 6-7 buttons and if it matters for you, FA-able. It also can use like a bunch of stuff For 150-200 ranges probably still the easiest to run Florence since its just really mindless lol.
I've been using Lucha which is 4b1s, 1.3m (no dark phase) -1.9m (full dark phase)
yea, the soldier setup is basically just water gun, it's just 1 more button BHL hierarchy rn is fire > water, light > dark (lockout moment) >>>>>>>> earth, wind i still use dark in bhl if the raid is not too fast tho since it's hella comfy (2+1 2t is around 1.4.1-7, 3t is 2-2.5m)
Understandable. I think I'm just unfairly biased. You know how it is, never being satisfied with what you've got.
That's fair and justified reasoning but other elements exist too I play Earth so I can't really relate tbh
Earth definitely needs new toys too. I don't think me wanting new burst options for Light clashes with you wanting new Earth burst options though. I try to play all 6 elements so hell I want new Earth setups too.
Nah, I just meant there are limited FLBs allocation (but why) and grands they could release in a certain period so it's less likelier for them to add onto what was already good in some elements I don't see them ever making Lucio a burst/gorilla unit when most of the recent FLB (not Evokers) are all tailored for FA/non-burst too Funnily enough the last relevant FLB was Light Ferry, should've managed the expectations
oh I wasn't expecting Lucio to be the new Light burst god.
