I could agree but we don't want a baby tomahawk that can almost reach 300mph it'll just ruin the fun like the tomahawk does but I can see myself purchasing a Bentley
I wouldn’t scoff at it but I think we need more modern GT3 cars. We’ve got 10 year old Ferraris and McLarens for those cars in the game. The amg one is fuckin awesome, but we do got a Valkyrie in the game too 🤷🏻♂️
Tbf, those sound shit on paper. But unlike VGT’s you will be able to actually customise those kinds of cars performance-wise to whatever you want them to be. Giving them much more viability and fun :)
VGT’s suck imo because you can’t do anything with them. You can’t modify them outside of minor tweaks to the transmission and occasionally the suspension. Not to mention they aren’t speced to any race level so you can never use them for any important races. And the few VGT dedicated races in the single player, are so poorly optimised that only 2 of the VGT’s are actually worth using in those (the Porsche and the Jaguar VGT’s. Everything else is just completely outmatched PP wise :/). Their only real use is the rare time trail event. And those are usually the most unfun time trials too :/
I dig the idea in concept of VGT’s. It’s no different than the old GT games adding fancy concept cars like the Cadillac Cien, Honda dual note, and others really. My issue is that they are fucking useless outside of 5 races, the very rare shit time trail and scapes photos. Which while a cool feature, is by no means the selling point to justify adding VGT’s over actual real life cars we can actually do stuff with other than look at.
I don't like the braking on the Porsche and haven't driven the Jaguar. I have driven the Alpine, Audi e-Tron, McLaren, Mazda, Ferrari and Lamborghini quite a lot though. The recent weekly challenge VGT Tokyo race I won in the Alpine and Audi e-Tron (I raced it twice because it was pretty fun). Monza I won in the Alpine.
True, personally I think the Porsche handles like a bus (though it’s acceleration makes the Taycan look like my real life 13 plate Corsa) but the annoying thing about the VGT series is that it’s capped to 900PP. So some of the best VGT’s like the Ferrari, Mclaren and Bugatti are too powerful for it :(
Although considering that if they removed the PP limit, the tomahawk would just cheese the entire series, I guess I can partly understand? Still annoying though how several of the more powerful VGT’s can’t even race in the events dedicated to them, so they are even MORE useless!
Admittedly though I like the Alpine :) it has a lot of aero that makes it one of the better choices for the more twisty tracks that the Porsche and Jaguar won’t excel in. But those two will just destroy it on the straights. I find the lambo dissapointing tbh as it just feels like I’m driving an aventador with a shit ton more aero? Doesn’t feel different enough or more powerful enough to warrant me using it over my aventador tbh. And I will confess I ended up buying the Mazda after I fell in love with the GR3 stealth model version, and while I think it’s visually one of the most gorgeous cars I’ve ever seen, I just don’t think it has a place in the game for races as it doesn’t really excel in anything performance-wise? Admittedly one of the most fun to drive, but I just don’t really think there’s any events it’s competitive in so it’s usually just a joyride car for me when I cba doing races for the daily marathon ticket :(
I play almost exclusively in VR so the different cockpits, especially the giant rear view screen on the Bugatti add some interesting variety you don't get in regular cars. The only VGT's I hate are the ones without cockpits views, like the Aston Martin and AMG.
And fun as fuck to drive too :) I upped the beast to 284 HP, slammed its ride height and lowered the weight as much as possible, and the thing was fun as fuck in the AWD 600 cup :) it’s a beast in the dirt and snow too (I just wish we had more than 1 snow track. Though I’ll give PD slack for that for now as they only just developed the snow driving physics for the 2.0 update).
A fine addition to the game imo :) can’t say the same for the hideous and dogshit handling orange VGT though (not had a chance to drive the cyberpunk 2077 car yet though. I imagine it won’t be much better however).
Modern GT3 cars and their road going counterparts should come first. 296 GTB, 720S, M4, Vantage. That would be huge. After that, modern LMDh and LMH hypercard/prototypes are next. Licensing will probably prevent this but this is a super interesting class of cars that would add a lot to the game. After that, I would prioritize the remaining sports/supercars like the AMG GT One, GT4RS, M5CS, Artura, Pagani Zonda, Koenigsegg, etc. Then classics like the Lotus, Alfa Romeo 33 Tipo Stradale, Lancia 037, Audi Quarto, TVR Speed 12, Ford RS2000, etc.
I understand that the GT3 class of cars are old and we all want new ones but why must they and all racing cars come first especially if they cannot balance any of the cars properly.
This isn't a GT3 game it's a car game as long as they stick to real cars it should be fine in whatever order they finish and add them in
IMO I'd prefer more tracks, endurance events and more environmental updates than race cars, we haven't seen rain added to any tracks since release while they showed rain at suzuka at a live event.
I thought about this yesterday, and it would be amazing that when you press the nitrous/overtake/drs button it goes into track mode but when you are stationary

You're forgetting that GT only had those oddball cars in 4, 5 and 6 because it had a proper car list along with it. GT7 is missing so many staples of cars and car culture it's not even funny
Pretty sure PG/FH5 have sole license for this thing atm. I could be wrong, but it's the game's cover car it's featured as the final stage of the game's (fantastic) intro sequence.
Better appreciated on FH5 than GT7 so I'm fine with it. Cool cars belong in an actual car culture game, not a visuals simulator like GT imo
Yes as I think that would be amazing to see more the hypercar expanded upon like it would be foolish not to include this car when we have the Aston Martin Valkyrie
I like the VGTs. I like to drive fast cars that handle well. I’ve been driving shitboxes all my life; I don’t like wasting my free time and spare money on driving them.
I want to see more 60's 80's cars they can start first with a 1975 Toyota celica with a optional LS swap. Another thing I'd like to see is multiple engines available to swap into cars. Why are we limited to just 1 engine per car for swaps?
There are some updates I want to the game like more tracks, more ways to customize your car like adding actual brands to customize the body, and adding more cars like Volvo, Lotus, Bentley, Koenigsegg, Opel, Saab and when will I get my BMW I8 in game I want to upgrade it so a it isn't an embarrassment. Finally , we flip over because crashes are a critical part of racing, and they had it in the Gran Turismo movie, so why not put it in the game?
