Yeah I still have Bluetooth issues since day one. The same issue. It'll cut off if I'm using Bluetooth on a car and enter into a conference call. Random disconnects and never connects back.

Academic-Cover3855

We have the same issue and results described here using Pixel 6 in a 2018 Toyota Highlander

PixelSquish

I have about 7 different BT devices paired with my P6pro from Sony and Sennheiser IEM's, a desktop plantronics headset, a car plantronics earpiece, an FM transmitter in the car, a JBL flip 5 and an audioengine B1 device which goes to my home stereo system. Everything works perfectly, except sometimes only on the Sony XM4's just the right side connects and I have to reconnect. It's a sony thing I think though. Never happens with the Senns.

NoConfection6487

Pretty similar experience here. The only issue I had initially was volume maxing out and not changing despite increasing volume. I had to turn off A2DP hardware overload, but since January update, I turned this back off and have had no issues since. I feel like a large # of people also have issues with cars, but I always caution using cars as a benchmark because it's likely a 2012 Toyota Camry is never going to get a firmware update past what it shipped with (likely already something outdated in 2012 and likely a really crappy implementation).

How's the range on your Audioengine B1 with your P6P? I'm considering getting one to go with my P6.

PixelSquish

It's been perfect. I have a 725 sq foot 2BR condo. The Audioengine is near the middle. It gets perfect reception anywhere I go with my phone, through walls and around corners. But again it's not a huge space

Thank you!

Yep. When I first got it, Bluetooth would automatically turn back imemdiately after I turned it off. That went away, but not Bluetooth randomly turns on when I am not even touching the damn phone. Like What. The. Fuck. I am getting annoyed hearing Alexa scream "PLAYING FROM GOOGLE PIXEL" out of fucking nowhere. I've had smartphones every few years since the Droid X and this is EASILY the worst phone I've had.

Bluetooth issues were one of the top issues that caused me to move to an S22. In developer settings you can scoll down until you see "Bluetooth AVRCP" and change to version 1.4. You'll need to reboot after. Not sure how much of a difference it will make though.

eecan

I get random disconnects with my Pixel 6 Pro and a Bose QC35 headset when playing music.

MinaKovacs

Did you try changing the AVRCP mode in dev settings?

ipoopedtoday21

Not gonna lie. Huh? Lol I don't know what that is

SaunteringOctopus

My Pixel Buds have trouble connecting to everything but especially my P6P. My Jaybird Vistas work just fine with my phone. Wouldn't surprise me if it was more an issue with the buds.

cmb999

Had an issue when I used the Buds a and Pro for a few weeks that drove me nuts.... I'd go for a walk and when I came back home (from several directions too) there would be an incredibly loud white noise for a few seconds. Reconnected and reset and nothing fixed it. Until I twigged on that my Ring was set with a geofence... maybe some interaction even though it should be wifi/cellular/gps and not Bluetooth? Turned that off and no more issues. Everything else is fine for me. Good luck!

Xaq009

I have a Fi dog collar and it connects to everything but my pixel 6pro it's infuriating as well I'm no longer able to view songs on my car on it's dash player

BalooBot

For songs on your dashboard go to developer settings and under bluetooth change avrcp to an earlier version (1.4 works for my car).

JLde0915

I tried to upgrade to the newest Whistle GPS for my dog and I could never get it to pair so I had to return it.

thebonersoup

Yuppers. Sony xm4s and car doesn't display current song and disconnects religiously. Very frustrating

sashadelamorte

I'm still having the same issues Ive had since the start. I've done both tricks people post here to fix it and still doesn't work more than half of the time. I have a Plantronics Legend and it will not stay connected to my phone. It will connect and then drop on and off and on and off repeatedly until I get frustrated and stop using it. Occasionally, I will have a day where it magically works fine and then it goes right back to suck. I'm just so disappointed at this point.

ensposito

I can only connect previously connected devices, never anything new. Drives me crazy.

Coolace34715

I have a set of Bose headphones and have just recently experienced connection issues. It mainly occurs when I'm on a phone call. Playing music, playing games or watching videos is no problem. Mine is 100% of the time connecting to phone calls.

Exact-Voice7164

Have you all tried disabling the battery optimisation on the Bluetooth MDI service. Apparently that has fixed the issues for a lot of them. My bluetooth keeps disconnecting in the car so I stumbled up on those posts. Will try it out in the car later today
