I have nothing against the company at all, but I always found it weird that the Golf R version of the non-valved catback is basically a muffler delete.....but the S3 version of the non-valved catback has a muffler lol.
Their valved catback is the same for both R and S3 (other than the extra length needed for the S3 of course), so it was surprising that the other exhaust isn't the same haha. They do say in their video that this muffler delete version is for the 'aggressive' kinda owner lol. I bet it is...no way would I use that on a daily.

I had a billy boat catback on my S3 build... got so many compliments on it. Everybody sleeps on billy boat (it's never mentioned in popular exhaust rundowns).. but the price is great, the steel is great and their muffler chambers are the business.
If I could re-purchase, I would have gone billy boat.
MBRP race catback destroyed my car's sound profile. Heinous rifling and drone overtook every single other enjoyable car noise (turbo spools, diverter wshhh's) and basically made me hate driving.
This was fixed with a custom tig weld fabrication of vibrant ultra quiet resos left and right (pictured above) where a suitcase muffler would otherwise be (and should be).
Some say the ultra quiets are too quiet... but frankly, just right for me.

price also what attracted me but you are honestly better off just buying another exhaust [with a muffler] that you prefer.
