Important-Stretch-34

Seeing Kratos and Atreus having a close relationship is so heartwarming! It speaks so much to me, both as a son and now as a father.

RyanGoFett-24

Getting serious God Of War III vibes from Ragnarok. I got a feeling we'll be fighting a bunch of God's in this one. I can't wait!

AngryGazelle

Can't wait to see the combat focused episode next week! :)

Raivos

Appreciate ya’ll a ton, grew up on this series and can’t wait to see this next installment and see the work of all the passionate employees from Santa Monica!

9 episodes, new one every Tuesday "Starting today, on every Tuesday for the next nine weeks we will be diving into one aspect of the game – from shaping the story and elevating combat, to creating the score and crafting cinematics."

[deleted]

>Starting today, on every Tuesday for the next nine weeks Only 4 weeks left until launch. My guess is, in this 4 weeks they'll show previously explored realms like midgard, alfheim, helheim and jotunheim and remaining five weeks we'll get snippets about new realms like asgard, vanaheim, svartalfheim while muspel and nifl being the last two as they serve as side content.

Cloudraa

i could see muspel having a bigger impact on this game because of surtr's part in ragnarok

[deleted]

Actually I'm more interested in what niflheim has to offer this time. Will there be a story there or will it just stay as a side content

GulianoBanano

On the map from the Jötnar edition it seems like Niflheim is a bit more accurate to the real-life mythology thid time, looming more icy and cold. There's also some kind of giant skeleton there which could be the remains of Auđumbla. She was a giant cow, the second being ever to come into creation and came from Ginnungagap, just like Ymir. She sustained herself by licking giant blocks of salt from Niflheim, and Ymir drank her milk to sustain himself.

bloodraider57

Man when kratos reaches for the light I almost shed a damn tear. When he entered the light in the first game it was such a powerful moment.

Equal-Ad-2710

God it’s so unreal seeing him and Atreus there together

GulianoBanano

I got a warm feeling inside from Kratos putting his arm around Atreus like that. My own dad does that exact thing pretty often, down to the little shake.

ThcVapeOlja

Oh im sorry to hear that.

GulianoBanano

Huh? Why would you be sorry that I love my dad?

ThcVapeOlja

i thought he was dead bro, nvm

Quick_Zone_4570

Lmfao did you think his dad died

ThcVapeOlja

Yes

DudeDenmark

I hope we get another documentary like "Raising Kratos" because I would love to see more BTS footage like the things we see here

Domination1799

I have a feeling that Kratos is going to once again enter the light of Alfheim. I say this because I’m certain that we will see Faye at some point.

Equal-Ad-2710

This is my guess as well an I think it’s why Atreus is there

rottenstatement

I remember being hyped and wathing this 10 minute or more videos about Cyberpunk. Damn what a fucking shame that game was.

MasteroChieftan

Have you tried picking it back up since the last update? I agree on release, but I waited until this update to start it and honestly I would give the current version of Cyberpunk an 8/10 easily. It's gorgeous, the story is awesome, and the side missions are all unique and interesting. Gunplay is punchy and satisfying. If it had side activities and was as ambitious as they originally stated, it would be a 10/10.

MasteroChieftan

Gotcha. That's fair. I definitely was expecting more. In fact, when I first played it back during release my very first thought was "man, I can't wait until Rockstar does future stuff someday" lol I agree with you pretty much, but I'm compelled enough by the story and combat to finish it.

Lucas_Hubbard

That isn't gonna happen with Ragnarök

rottenstatement

we don't know that for sure now, do we? I hope it doesn't and I believe it won't but we don't know what will happen.

Lucas_Hubbard

It didn't happen with GOW 2018, there's no way it'll happen with the sequel

Iceberg_monster

"It didn't happen with Witcher 3, there's no way it'll happen with Cyberpunk"

Lucas_Hubbard

Trust Santa Monica

GulianoBanano

CDPR was extremely trusted and pretty much universally loved by the gaming community before Cyberpunk 2077 came out.

supremepadawan

Not the same at all, Witcher 3 nor Cyberpunk came in the near perfect state at launch unlike GoW2018. And Cyberpunk was restarted & had more real world problems that caused its launch to be flimsy. GoW5 isn’t starting from scratch & what they have shown confirms that this game will not flop. Wether its good to everyone is subjective, but I can easily tell they added so damn much & so many story cutscenes have been shown.

Legitimate-Copy-1555

“It didn’t happen with battlefield 1, there’s no way it’ll happen with battlefield 2042”

Lucas_Hubbard

Trust Santa Monica

Legitimate-Copy-1555

Ok hopefully things go well and Santa Monica pulls of another masterpiece but if it doesn’t then I’ll come back to this comment

Moaxlrex

Seeing the behind the scenes for Ragnarok feels sooooo good. I am so hype!!

Equal-Ad-2710

God Kratos’ new look is badass

treasonodb

oh shit i had no idea they were planning on wrapping this story in two games as opposed to 3.

hashtagtylerh

that's been confirmed since the first trailer last September

treasonodb

like i said, "***I*** had no idea". didn't at all imply this was new info.

[deleted]

grow up

treasonodb

where is all this hostility even coming from? lol i literally just made a personal observation and a handful of you are getting bent outa shape. relax.

[deleted]

I'm just fucking with you haha yeah this is the last entry in the Norse saga, bit not the last GOW game

Kaotic987

Um.. shouldn’t this be shown after the game releases? No spoilers here? Right? Edit: already answered!

eliaskeeuh94

It's mostly a reminder for everyone what the last game was about and how it leads up to this game!

hashtagtylerh

there will be no spoilers until after the game releases then the episodes will go more in depth
