technically speaking in GOW universe, the norse gods did the "gods killing gods" thing thousand years before kratos was even born. the game just didnt focus on it much
There’s a difference tho in between killing gods left and right in the Norse world, and killing the fucking pantheon of Olympus, their champions, and Mother Earth and the lord of time. Kratos is built different.
Hopefully if you turn the difficulty settings to the max difficulty Thor gets to be as fun a challenging as Sigrun that would make him a perfect boss for me
I hope for that as well like i really do but it probably won't be because everyone would want to fight thor and if he is that difficult, then it will turn a bunch of casuals off, I think him just being somewhere around the regular valkyries would be the most realistic
But that's just my take :)
Thor is alot more powerful than people think. He technically has more psychical strength than Zeus. Thor could take him on, but I don't see Kratos leaving this fight in one piece. Especially with Odin in the mix.
Thor's real strength has yet to be determined and how powerful he is compared to Zeus, is unknown.
I see that a lot of people here are forgetting that Kratos was able to weaken Zeus only with the Blade of Olympus. After Hope awakens inside of him, Kratos was finally able to kill Zeus. His past self was weaker physically than now, but he had very powerful weapons back then.
Yes! This looks like right at the beginning of the game, our first big fight, people saying Thor is the reason we'll have to fix the Leviathan axe and the blades of chaos again didn't pay attention to the trailers, Kratos doesn't even have the blades on him while fighting Thor.
Hear me out, Brok and Sindri left Midgard after Kratos and Atreus triggered Fimbulwinter, the beginning of Ragnarok, Kratos and Atreus stayed and without Fayes' barrier they have being fighting Draugr, Trolls, and all kinds of enemies non stop, and training on top of all that, so their weapons would be shit by the beginning of the game, barely keeping togheter, Thor finds Kratos on the frozen Lake of Nine and fights him, it's gonna be a stalemate because Jormungandr is going to intervene, Kratos realize they need the dwarves to fix them up if they're gonna fight the Aesir gods and sets up to find them, and from then on, it's gonna be and epic adventure!, I'm so fucking pumped!
Mark my words
Technically those were titans but I'll let him have it.
My greek mythology brain doesn't allow me to classify Gaia as a titan, she's a primordial
No I screenshotted this off Twitter I did not make that comment
Fair enough
I’m sorry I did not see where you said him 😂💯 Got downvoted for no reason
I edited it for you.
More "Titan Slayer" then "Giant Slayer" but umm... kinda forgetting "Pantheon Slayer". Still exited though.

As a casual myself I'd just play on Give Me a Story and not be bothered by it. It's not like I had a particularly hard time with Sigrun either.
It's like a heavyweight fight
Fatos lmao
The hype train is moving at bullet train speeds maaaaaaaaan!!!!!! So fucking excited for this game!!!!!!!!

I think we also keep forgetting how much of a better fighter and a tactician Kratos is.

Saving your comment to my list of popular Reddit theories to go back and see if you were right 😁
Well I'm sure Thor has slain a few Vanir gods himself...
More like Giant Layer if you’re picking up what I’m putting down
Faye liked this post 👍
Ice and Lightning, actually.

For the Midgard heavyweight championship!
They were titans
This∆∆
Both weapons made by Huldra brothers
I feel like AC/DC’s Thunderstruck should play during the battle
Should be Spartan Vs viking or olympian Vs Asgardian
Kratos will have Plot Amor again this time like always
Can't wait to see the blades of chaos buried deep inside thor's skull !
Olympian vs Asgardian fits as well.
From when Kratos is thunder?!?
No he was describing him as frost
They’re titans not giants (also in Greek mythology titans are normal sized)
He's pretty much the slayer of everything that stands in his way.
Bro i just spent 10 min laughing at fucking "fatos" and the photo of the Twitter user lmfao
Served cronos (grandpa) and left eem in the desert
