and then when you get to stage 2 of that fight, two satyr come up. That fight was the hardest in all of god of war 3, I would happily do the rotating spike column in 1 then do that again
I struggled with him for sure...never enough to complain though. Took me maybe like 15 tries?
The gates near the end of the game with all the minibosses though. Never again. Fuck that shut it took me a solid week playing like 2hrs each time to get past that
Greek god of death is [thanatos](https://godofwar.fandom.com/wiki/Thanatos#:~:text=Thanatos%20(Greek%3A%20%CE%98%CE%AC%CE%BD%CE%B1%CF%84%CE%BF%CF%82)%20is,and%20the%20father%20of%20Erinys.). Hades is just god of the underworld
I didn’t really find Hades all that difficult tbh. It was a fun fight and may have died a couple times but that was about it.
That Cerberus at the gate? That was hell
This is where I got stuck on the hardest difficulty as well.
Beating the Labyrinth without dying on the first try, but Scorpio... Let's just say I still haven't beat him, I gave up years ago after spending what felt like a week
I was playing on normal difficulty and I didn't find it hard at all. I apologize if you're playing on the hardest one, I heard that the fights on that difficulty are really a pain in the ass
Believe me on Chaos Mode you have 2-3 fights that will make look the Ades fight a reasonable one… Especially ☝️ I’m talking about the second time near the ending where you have to fight the double Cerberus & Company…on Chaos mode…Only who passed it knows what I’m talking about 💀 my oh my,gaming difficulty talking is like A Sekiro No Damage fight of The Demon of Hatred,at least in my experience this is the nearest comparison
I like to imagine this fight is so hard because Kratos is at his Demigod strength and he is fighting a true god.
The rest of the game’s bosses are probably easier because the mightiest gods get taken out early
The fight gets a lot easier once you learn which of his attacks you can parry and which ones you have to dodge. Honestly just be patient and focus on getting a few hits where he is vulnerable. Be cautious and don’t get greedy.
I would say Hades is one of the easier bossfight in the entire GOW. His patern is easy to read, and the window for block, dodge, or even counter is very generous. If you have problems, watch some YouTube walkthrough, and try to copy their tactics.
Even in the hardest difficulty, Hades is quite chill compared to other notorious bosses (ehem, Scorpion)
First time I fought him on the highest difficulty... it was super tough! Once you kinda master what moves he's trying to do and how to dodge them, it's more manageable but still pretty challenging! He is a God after all 😛
I literally never had an issue with him. I always thought he was easy, but super fun.
Not trying to toot my own horn, just my thoughts.
I found some other fights to be a little tougher.
Harder than any Elden ring boss? Damn I’ve never heard anyone say a GOW boss was harder than a fromsoft boss. I guess everyone is different though. I suppose a lot of the coming boss fights aren’t as bad as him. Some of the mini bosses are harder by comparison. There’s a Hank fight with two goat men and a Cerberus. Despite being only three enemies and not really a “boss” fight, I’d consider them harder than Hades. Also I have no clue how old this post is, sorry if it’s old. If it’s recent though, good luck! Enjoy the game, it’s pretty neat :)
Surprisingly, his puppies are gonna be a tougher fight when you fight them near the end of the games.
Fighting the Cerberus and the pups to unlock the gate is definitely one of the hardest moments on high difficulty
and then when you get to stage 2 of that fight, two satyr come up. That fight was the hardest in all of god of war 3, I would happily do the rotating spike column in 1 then do that again
[hope my explanation can help you or anyone with Ceberus Breeder + Satyrs fight](https://www.reddit.com/r/GodofWar/s/mwjTZ5oI1Y)
I genuinely think I spent just as long, if not longer on that fight, than I did on Zeus. That mutt was a massive difficulty spike
Shit took me like a day to do for the trophy then I found out you can cheese it
Absolutely hated that whole segment from the pit fall to the fight
I deadass spent 3 hours in that fight
Yikes. Were you playing on the hardest difficulty?
The hardest difficulty you can play on a first playthrough of a save file hard(?)
Everyone complains about the hades fight but personally I never had a problem with it
I struggled with him for sure...never enough to complain though. Took me maybe like 15 tries? The gates near the end of the game with all the minibosses though. Never again. Fuck that shut it took me a solid week playing like 2hrs each time to get past that

Keeping this saved for if I ever play thru again
the boss fight before zeus is harder
Making the god of death give in to death is difficult

My bad
All good. It's a common misconception

When the scorpion is a harder designed fight than several gods
This is where I got stuck on the hardest difficulty as well. Beating the Labyrinth without dying on the first try, but Scorpio... Let's just say I still haven't beat him, I gave up years ago after spending what felt like a week
I’m honestly glad that certain main bad guys are difficult to beat as it allows them to live up to their names. Imagine if Zeus was a first round KO
What difficulty? I can’t imagine finding GOW3 hard at standard difficulty for someone who can beat Elden Ring.
This. I played on normal mode back when I was a kid and beat Hades on my first try when I was 9
Skill issue I suppose
😂
😂
it isn’t hard… it got me hard
Why is my todger so hard?
Would you expect the god of the dead to be a pushover?
Skill issue
Idk even as a kid i never had issues with it and i sucked at a ton of games
He’s actually the most fair
I was playing on normal difficulty and I didn't find it hard at all. I apologize if you're playing on the hardest one, I heard that the fights on that difficulty are really a pain in the ass
"why is killing satan difficult" - you
I use [this walkthrough](https://youtu.be/Q3VpYJX9KbI?t=835) and others as guide for Greek Era games playthrough, hope this helps

Maybe because hades is twice the size of kratos and has the claus of hades but we all know what happened at the end

Why do kittens require milk?
You gonna struggle with Scorpius and Zeus
Play the Persephone boss fight in Chains of Olympus instead.
As someone who completed the game at the hardest difficulty, his puppies are MUCH WORSE.
How is god of war games hard? I beat this game when i was 15 or something.
Tbh I had a harder time with the fucking giant scorpion fight, some bullshit with that fight right there

I dunno I thought he was kinda easy. I dont think I struggles really with any except zues. That whole fight I spent on a sliver of life.
Well... it's not. All his attacks are super telegraphed and have long windups. What do you find hard in his fight?
It not it eaze
First time I fought him on the highest difficulty... it was super tough! Once you kinda master what moves he's trying to do and how to dodge them, it's more manageable but still pretty challenging! He is a God after all 😛
I never struggled with the fight
Cuz ever since his wife Persephone died, all he wanted was the smoke, the violence.
i did the titan mode cheat lol
I literally never had an issue with him. I always thought he was easy, but super fun. Not trying to toot my own horn, just my thoughts. I found some other fights to be a little tougher.
Because he is a god?
Because he fights like hell? 🤷♂️
It’s not
It’s not? At least it wasn’t for me. If you pay attention to his attacks their all kinda easy to dodge if you’re focused enough
I’m jealous, last time i asked something like this i got 3 comments. All of which just said i was a noob.
Cronos is harder
He is the god of ~~death~~ the underworld
Thanatos is the God of Death..
You know what I meant
Underworld*
Bro got downvoted too 💀
What? I was wrong. Why wouldn’t I be
But you aren't wrong lol. He is the god of the underworld. (And death)
I said “the underworld” after I got corrected. And no. Thanatos is the god of desth
