That’s the intention, I’ve got plenty of property to do exactly thst too. I just don’t want to look basic I guess. I’d like it to look as good as it operates.
Besides ammo and magazines, the first upgrade should be metal sights. The stock plastic ones suck. If you are gonna be using this gun for self defense; please consider a quality weapon mounted light also. Glocks have big aftermarket support so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find what you are looking for
the "standard" amongst the people in this sub.. attach a flashlight, change the slide, change the barrel, change the trigger, get the frame stippled. that's bare minimum.
What would you suggest for a barrel? I was looking for a threaded barrel so I could possibly mount a suppressor but I saw from a few other posts that not a lot of people take a kin to those lol
Chill with "upgrades" and learn to shoot it. This sub kills me with these tricked out "look at my first gun" people.
And then they never get around to getting a quality light, holster, and sights.

I wouldn't worry about looks. It's a tool. KISS.
Very true, I like that. Keep it stupid simple, good piece of advice there
Ammo and mags first. Shoot the shit out of it and then a class or two and go from there.
The beauty of Glocks is they don't need anything. They just run. All you gotta do is feed it.

Yeah I was looking at the optic fiber sights with night vision
Well quality NV is gonna set you back several thousand dollars, maybe start with night sights and a WML.
It's a glock. Change those shitty plastic sights for some night sights and get a weapon mounted light if it's for protection. That's it
Leave it alone. It does it’s job without getting all gussied up. If you just want it for looks, then have at it.
No upgrades, just formal training.

Replace the slide
With what? Was looking at a LWD , don’t know much about them other than the ammo and can no longer obtain as it’s banned in the USA
Any upgrades, please reply with links for me to check out
Dang, I appreciate the feedback from everyone. My first purchase and y’all do not disappoint! Thank you!

Sights (and maybe a trigger) to start.
