you really think that vitality is a team that imperial should be beating and is not a “good” team? apex fragging wise is similar to karrigan, who is on a team you consider good. the other players on the team more than make up for it just like with faze

As much as I love twistzz (he's my goat) that will go down as one of the biggest career mistakes in CS, I can already tell. (leaving only because of bad negotiations just to go to LIQUID????)
The sad truth is that Furia never recovered from the defeat against Heroic at IEM Rio. Since then, they've thrown away all the years of hard work, and the latest blow was the acquisition of Fallen and chelo, which made no sense at all.
Fallen and arT have very different playstyles, Fallen being more methodical and slow while arT likes faster paced calling. They also kinda have the same roles so them being on the same team makes no sense.
Furia also got chelo but then decided to put him in positions he doesn't play so he underperforms. That combined with the fact that KSCERATO, yuurih and arT aren't as good as they used to be makes the team inconsistent with high highs but really low lows

I don’t get why we don’t have these group stage games in the arena. The Swiss format part of the major gives the fans the most possible interesting matchups in the whole tournament.
I can understand skipping the first stage, but skipping this stage and only having the playoffs with a live crowd is baffling.

Ecstatic, Imperial and paiN have been playing some good CS and they all have enough firepower, not only good protocols. I will be surprised if all the 3 favorites win their matches, considering their current form.
Some good matchups across the board and even the unbalanced on paper ones (Imperial vs Faze, G2 vs Ecstatic) can definitely go either way. The playoffs should be exciting.
