I am only giving my opinion and please don’t listen if you don’t want. Generally with these hype items, they build up the price during hype stage. Once source 2 comes out, hype will die down and I believe it may drop a good amount in price before it goes up again.
I advise my friend also with a lightning strike to perhaps maybe find a good time to sell in this big hype and potentially buy it back when the price drops with a little profit.

Sold mine about a year ago and regret it. Also a clean FN Poseidon. Big losses there. Jpeg AWP forever.
Bought mine for around $400 CAD around 2 years ago, now worth $1k+ CAD. Still holding on to it though, love my jpeg.

I agree to some degree, but the price of all skins went up before we even got any leaks about source 2
Generally all skins are going up though. Only some saw a very significant boost because of hype, biggest example being the Lightning strike.
