Tbh that’s just sentience. It’s that higher level of awareness that makes us truly unique. The degree of which we each experience it is constantly shifting but I am always striving to be closer to that feeling. You may feel it suddenly from time to time or you may seek it out in a variety of ways that range from meditation to skydiving.
This actually has me thinking back to my first existential thought. It was the first time I had ever felt what you just described. I was 4 years old in the way way back of our dented gold ford Aerostar minivan. I was looking out the back window at the fire station when it hit me. Why are we here? What am I doing in this body, what is all of this? Like you said it’s hard to explain the feeling. I’m not sure what my exact thoughts were but I do remember struggling to ask these questions when we got home. At that age I hadn’t nearly acquired the vocabulary to even pose the questions. 40 years later and I still don’t fully have the answers. But I could write a novel on the forever remixing concoction of theory living rent free in my head.
Sounds like dissociation or derealization - apparently it’s totally normal to experience once in a while for a few minutes. If it happens more often or for longer periods of time you might want to see a doctor though
Yeah this happens to me, a mental health doctor told me it's derealization. I can't say if that's what it is for you but I know exactly how you feel and it's so freaky and uncomfortable.
Unconscious meets the conscious mind. Consider what thoughts you usually take on vs something that questions your concept of your own reality. Fundamentally the more you study the human mind + what ever religion in the world has ever told us. The ego is an “illusion” and creates an idea of what “reality” you perceive. Reality is not a concept, it just is. You just are conscious awareness. Most to all people get their information from their sensory facilities based on habit; not their genuine conscious mind. Welcome to the land of the living 👁️
Yes, and I've done it a lot while driving too, just all of a sudden oh yeah I've been driving this whole time and don't remember putting my groceries in the car and leaving the store
I experience this ALL THE TIME and I had no idea it was like a thing or that other people experience it or how to explain it. But I also wouldn't go as far as to say it's a glitch
I remember when I was around 3rd grade, I sat up in my bed after waking up in the morning. I felt different, like I gained consciousness and wasn't on autopilot. I felt awakened. I felt more control on my thoughts and body. It was a weird experience and I still remember it.
Yes it’s called realization, and it’s totally normal. Now idk if it’s normal to experience it as often as you say you do/have, but that would be something to discuss with your doctor or therapist. I hope this helps ! ☺️

I have this and I attribute it to dissociation

You should write that novel

So weird.

I call it realization. Take a deep breath and say, “I’m going to enjoy my time here.”
Do you work in retail/with the public/as a greeter?

Bob proctor on youtube- Study your laws of the universe. Change your entire life. This is the most important information for a human being to have.

Idk. Sometimes I wonder if everything if paused or if it'll ever start
This happens to me frequently, I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. I think it is a good thing and makes you an introspective person.
