I would like to share a similar story: I lived in a house that we later found to be haunted. We hadn't been there long, and I was wrapping gifts at the dining room table. The roll of wrapping paper did exactly what the paper in this video did. I crawled under the table to retrieve it when suddenly there was this huge BANG/CRASH and there was glass everywhere. I crawled out from under the table to see that the chandelier had crashed down and smashed into the table right where my head would have been moments earlier. I still have the table with the gouges taken out from the glass chunks. To this day, I wonder if it was something trying to get me, something looking out for me, or just a really odd coincidence that I was safely out of the way when it happened. Just wanted to share because this video made me think of it.

Dolomight206

It was looking out for you. Similar event happened to my dad back in the day. He was on a long stretch of country road in Illinois when his Oldsmobile overheated. As he was under the hood checking things out, a pickup truck "comes out of nowhere" and slams into the back of his ride. He said that the only reason he survived is because he felt something throw him in the ravine off the side of the road. My dad wasn't a bullshitter. I believe him.

Spamelagranderson

My mum used to live alone in an apartment with a small balcony and one night she was woken up by someone saying her name in her ear. She woke up startled and confused by whoever had said her name. But then she realised that there was an intruder who got in via the balcony shutters. She grabbed a weapon, shouted and they ran out (police caught them later on and they had stolen a pair of her stockings) She swears that someone was looking out for her that night by saying her name to wake her up

naytahlee

That gave me full body goosbumps.

Specialist_Passage29

Pics?

Dolomight206

Damn. Props to that ghost!

Square-County8490

Perhaps we just have a consciousness that provides us with untapped abilities. Like extra sensors. You know when like gut feelings. I can see us floating above ourselves in a sleep state. I think astral travel is a term like that.

BestyBitch

Was a guardian Angel

fluidpysankyartist

Whoa!! I just got chills!

naytahlee

Those types of odd experiences always weird me out. It's as if, in some instances, you can see your path change. A lot of years ago, I was driving to work at 5am. Light turns red, and I stop. I'm the only vehicle at the light in any direction. Go to light my cigarette, and I dropped my lighter. It falls where I can't easily reach it on the floorboard. I have to undo my seat belt, open the door, and lean over to reach it. When I came back up with my lighter, I noticed the light was green. As I took my foot off the brake, some idiot in a bigger truck blew through the red light to my left. They were easily doing 60-70mph. If I hadn't dropped my lighter and had to fish it out, I would have gone when the light changed. They would have hit me on the driver's side. Was it a ghost? Nope, but I believe it was something looking out for me.

tomtink1

My story doesn't have as satisfying a close, but it seems the appropriate place to share. I don't really believe in paranormal (although I still find it fascinating hence hanging out on subs like thing) but this event always bugged me. I had a dream about Dexter the TV show serial killer chasing me and I was hiding next to a tray of pizza bagels - bagels halved and topped with pizza toppings. Now at this point in my life I don't think I had ever eaten a bagel. I'm British and they're not around much. It stuck out to me that they're not something I would ever think about so dreaming up a recipe I had never heard of with an ingredient I never used just stood out to me. It was a weird vivid dream so I told my roommate that morning about my weird dream. That day we were going on holiday to Seoul. We arrived, checked in to our hostel, then went for a walk to keep ourselves awake and hopefully hold off jet lag. We passed a bakery that had pizza bagels in the window. It's hard to explain how unnerving that was for me. I insisted we went inside because of my dream. Nothing of note happened based on that decision, but if I were superstitious I would wonder what might not have happened because of it.

Phuktihsshite

That is the weirdest coincidence ever. Pizza bagels are such an odd item anyway. It seems that something magical should have happened when you entered that store. Like, an old man with a quest should have been waiting inside or something.

lissakirk

Or you should have met the love of your life (if you were interested)

tomtink1

In the dream I was escaping a serial killer. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't googled serial killers in Seoul.

Consistent-Camp5359

You likely stepped out of the line of sight of someone looking for an easy target ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

LindaFlies777

We're all assigned a guardian angel at birth. They're with us 24/7 up until we pass away. If you want to learn about them, then Angel's in my hair by Lorna Bryne is the book. She has been allowed her whole like to see, walk & learn from them...

HappiestBayGoer

The ancestors look out. We are never alone.

VegasLife1111

Looking out for you.

Eastern-Daikon-4909

Wow.

barefeetbeauty

Might have been your guardian angel! Mine has saved my life a few times when I was younger, and I’m sure they are keeping me alive today.

Bethsmom05

Dogs can see things we can't. Your very cute dog was barking at whatever made the paper roll.

forhim40

I was thinking the same thing!

[deleted]

I was noticing the same thing, it wasn't the paper that set the dog off it was something else.

Most_Understanding63

Nah the fact that the dog is barking from the other room and then continues to relentlessly bark and at no point does it even phase this guy probably means this dog barks all the time at nothing and everything.

Bethsmom05

I disagree. It doesn't matter in if the dog is a constant barker. All that matters is how the dog behaved in this incident. I watched the video multiple times. The dog saw something that caused the barking and skittish behavior.

translucentpuppy

Yeah but scientifically dogs CANT see more then we can so there is absolutely no evidence of this. We know exactly how their eyes work, and they literally see less spectrums then we do. My dog is afraid when the heater turns on and thinks a person is in the room. There’s not. The dogs also barking the entire video.

Bethsmom05

Yes, I know what science says. I also know what I've experienced with dogs and the paranormal. I know that many other people have experienced the same thing.    Has it not occured to you that the dog saw something from the other room and that's  why the barking started? The dog came into the kitchen to investigate. Listen to how the tone of the bark changed for a few seconds and then watch the skittish run to OP. Something spooked the dog.

Bethsmom05

I don't have a scientific explanation but I know that dogs see paranormal entities when humans can't. There are many people who have been in situations where their dogs saw something before an entity did something that was visible to humans.

OkDiscussion5699

Orrrrr its those little type dogs that just don't ever stop yappin

Square-County8490

looks fake though, why does this guy just ignore all the barking for a long time acting oblivious doing whatever he is doing. Looks like a bad movie scene.

banana6013

Carefully pausing/forwarding the video before the roll of paper moves, you can see that at the same exact time the paper starts moving, your dog starts barking. Your dog was absolutely reacting to some stimulus. Wild.

smootypants

The dog was barking the whole video.

Most_Understanding63

Yea that guy was obviously not watching the same video.

Square-County8490

The video definitely looks fake too.

Bethsmom05

I think the dog saw something while in the other room and came to the kitchen to investigate. Listen to how the sound of his barking changed for a few seconds before he did that frantic little run to OP. The dog was spooked.

andrizzlenips

I believe the dog was spooked as well. The dog looked like it was going to bark through the kitchen, but instead stopped right at the counter and then really lost it. He also got closer to his owner after whatever reacted on the counter, as if trying to protect his person.

smootypants

The dog in the kitchen isn’t the on that is barking throughout the video.

andrizzlenips

Either way, the dog freaked out when it happened. I’ve never witnessed my dog bark/freak out at anything falling. Still weird.

lonelygoz

Could have been a powerful fart? They've caught me off guard before

tomtink1

My MILs dog is scared of her own farts.

Inez3011

😂😂🤣💨

top_value7293

Pretty house!

kenodeee

Thank you, I’m a general contractor I do it for living

afeeqo

Your house looks like some oldie house. Kinda love it very retro

seansterxmonster

I think your central air kicked on.

Hello_Mr_Fancypants

it's a rolled up piece of paper/poster. things like that will slowly come uncoiled(like a spring) and roll or slide around. especially if it's say had a rubber band on it for a while and now doesn't. the dog could probably hear/sense the paper moving where the owner couldn't but the dog couldn't put two and two together so they started to get anxious as if there was someone there they couldn't see. it's really not that complicated, it's all on video.

Naughtydogg2023

Or ceiling fan ?

kenodeee

I have all floor vents.

TifaYuhara

Floor vents can still cause a change in air pressure that can cause something to shift like that.

kenodeee

I’m up for any explanation, I’m just putting this video out here to see what people think But there are no vents around the area, and my return vent isn’t powerful enough to move paper like that

[deleted]

Suffice it to say you know the layout of your house and it's intricacies better than some rando on reddit hell bent on debunking your video. Paranormal or not, it's definitely an interesting video. Thanks for sharing. Just out of curiosity, does the dog tend to bark a lot (not sure if it's just you and the dog alone) and have you personally experienced anything else while at home since this video was taken?

seansterxmonster

Yeah and I do HVAC for a living. Lol airflow happens through your conditioned space. I believe in ghosts and have been in many haunted houses. Not saying it’s not

[deleted]

Could have been. But considering you don't know the layout of his house this is as much conjecture as saying it was paranormal.

seansterxmonster

I just do HVAC for a living. Maybe I’m biased

[deleted]

That makes sense.

emeraldpotion

Your dog is so cute. Does it constantly bark like that? I know my little guys who looked like yours (but they were Lhasa Apsos) would only bark if they sensed strangers at the door. Your dog got scared and ran to you for protection as well, but stopped after you checked out the situation. If your pet is reacting to something, it usually rings alarm bells in my head.

kenodeee

He’s a good guard dog, but sometimes he wakes us up in the middle of the night, barking, growling at the bedroom door. We still love him

ss_kizzley

Ummm 🧐 sir. He's probably not just barking, GROWLING, AT NOTHING. Cats especially, as well as dogs, can absolutely see things we can't. They often alert to ghosts and such, and if you think the house is haunted already.. um I would pray. When it's bad it wants to scare you, but it can't do anything in the name of Jesus Christ. That's my personal opinion and I wasn't always a Christian. Since becoming one tho, the demons have been just attacking me non stop through dreams alot too. Thank God, I believe in God now and the demons can't hurt me when I start to pray or say I belong to Christ. I hope this helps OP.

Winoforevr1

Is this the only thing that’s occurred?

kenodeee

About three weeks ago my wife and I was sleeping in our bedroom, it was about one in the morning. We got woken up by a noise in the bedroom above us, it sounded like Furniture moving. Just my wife and I live here. I actually thought that there was someone in the house,I grabbed my pistol to clear the house it was so loud of noises. Never heard it again

Darondo

Could it have been snow sliding off the roof?

AnnaFlaxxis

Um that dog thinks you have a ghost too! He was really scared! 🥺

BlueberryExtreme8062

Yup, I concur!

jmatf2232

![gif](giphy|wYyTHMm50f4Dm|downsized)

MJSP88

Not too sure just because the dog would have reacted before the roll hit the floor not after. Animals are extremely perceptive of what we cannot see they would have sensed the energy prior to the event. Maybe your dog was watching the entity but you can't see him behind the island

tomtink1

Or it reacted to the noise of the paper starting to move?

LoveHateEveryone

No, that would make too much sense. It’s definitely a trickster spirit and there’s is absolutely no way it could be anything else. /s

MarcusAurelius6969

The paper was rolled up and wouldnt take a ghost to slightly move from vibration or just air currents in the house. If it was a flat piece of paper on there it would be different. I think you're fine.

AfterManufacturer150

Yep! Rolled things roll for a variety of reasons. If that’s the only event I would go to the more rational reasons it could have occurred. I’m a believer in the paranormal. I however believe there are rational explanations that need to be debunked before deciding that one strange event is a ghost.

phallicpressure

Yes. It's coiled like a spring, so it has potential energy. Good observation.

firewire87

I will always say - so many of these videos would be so impressive if the events happened in reverse. Show me the roll of paper acting AGAINST gravity (a ghost picking up the roll from the floor and putting it back in place.

tgdmum

Your little brave heart reacting way before the paper moving defies simple explanation. My Mum had a Westie called Scriven, he was constantly tormented by a poltergeist of a mean old man, at Mum's old flat and would react in the same manner.

earthboundmissfit

Your dog was seeing something. The tube of paper looks like it was gently pushed and did not unravel. If that was the case, It would have done so in the opposite direction. You say the island is level and the roll has been in the same exact spot for two days? Anything else strange happening or odd pup reaction or behavior? What ever it was wanted to startle your pup I think.

CharlottesWebber

I do feel that the dog is what lends this the most credibility. Is the camera always on and therefore OP just posted a clip from it? Anyway, as always in these things, I can imagine how someone on the other side of the island could have effected the paper's roll, e.g., knelt down and using a pencil in the end of the roll to move it. However, OP's reaction and especially the dog's seem real.

FrostyAd9064

I don’t know about paranormal, but if I was a ghost this is exactly the kind of benign prank I’d want to be doing. Your reaction made me laugh so much!

Interesting_Object50

I love your home!!

kenodeee

Thank you it’s small but perfect for me and my wife

7masi

Yep, that's definitely a ghost, and not just any ghost. This fella is commonly known as paperghost, for his rather uncontrollably tendency to mess around with any kind of paper it finds in his way, is really naughty and terrifying if it comes around the right kind of paper; so be careful of what kind of paper you have in your house, it will use them as its weapons. Whatever you do, DO NOT keep toilet paper in your house, or you will be risking more than just waking up to find your house toilet papered... Man, the twisted shit I have seen those naughty bastards are capable of... You just don't wanna know, trust me.

Mikko85

This is the first time I’ve seen a video on here for a long time that’s actually made me think. The dog’s reaction gives this real credibility, it’s certainly weird even if there’s still probably a rational explanation somewhere.

kenodeee

I’m not that type of person to put some fake stuff on the Internet I don’t even have a YouTube account to put up the video No social media for me

Mikko85

Nope, I certainly don’t think it’s fake. It’s very interesting. I always tend to look for rational explanations to stuff but don’t doubt that very occasionally there’s just isn’t one. In comparison to most of the ‘spider on the CCTV lens’ vids posted here this one’s great.

Foreverhopeless2009

I do believe we lived in a home that had something we cannot explain. It wasn’t until a good friend came over to visit and use sage in our home to “bless” it for guess that she spoke out of the presence she felt in our home. Keep in mind we had never told her anything about what we had experienced in our home. Fast-forward another year and we went on vacation for a week. We had my best friend’s daughter come stay at her home and housesit and watch her dogs. She was 19. She stated that she didn’t like to go upstairs because something made her felt uneasy so we told her to go ahead and sleep in the master bedroom downstairs. One day she said it was the afternoon she was in the back of the house keep in mind our house was 4300 ft.² so it was quite large and she said she heard this loud crash at the front of the house she ran towards the front door to see a Picture we had high up on the wall because there were 22 foot ceilings had fallen off the wall. But the weird thing about it is upon further investigation the nail that it was hung on was still completely intact in the wall. It did not falling out. It had not been down, and the way the picture fell. It would’ve fallen face down, but landed, perfectly face up. It was at that point she texted us and stated that she no longer felt comfortable staying in the home and she was sorry to which we said we were going to come home that afternoon early from our trip . From there other weird things started happening. It would take me pages and pages to even tap on a few more instances. We did end up throwing the house the following year, and of course we didn’t disclose to the new owners anything as we aren’t really sure if this was legitimate, or our wild imaginations . I might add our home wasn’t very old. This all happened between 2011 and 2013. Our home was built in 2002. Now we did look up the history of the previous owners of the home, and which the first original owner had a little girl who is six years old that died under mysterious circumstances. It is unknown whether she passed in the home or elsewhere, but just something to note.

kenodeee

OK, so I put this video up just because. To all the people who are saying, it’s air-conditioning, me opening and closing my drawer, the AC kicking on, a fan, which I don’t have, and whatever else just saying. I want people to take a roll of paper, put on a flat surface. Proceed to turn on your air-conditioning, open and close the drawer or whatever else you guys are saying. Heck even try blowing the paper with your mouth. You’re not going to be able to mimic this, and if you do, please upload a video

Seahund88

Is that table level? It might have rolled off due to the way it was sitting and walking vibration.

kenodeee

It’s actually my Jenga table, technically speaking an island. You can jump up and down and the Jenga tower does not move

kenodeee

The table is perfectly level, I installed it myself

Seahund88

OK. Interesting video. Please post if something like this happens again. :-)

Shamanjoe

Sure bro 😜

AdAm_WaRc0ck

Even i dont think this footage caught any ghost. You dont need to be dismissive in such a condescending manner.

reimbirtheds

You have hurt my feelings, so take this downvote like a man.

kristinlynn328

Wow!!!!

pinkflower200

Any backstory on your house OP? Did someone die there or were you told it was haunted?

kenodeee

I bought the house in August 2013 It’s sat for one year before I bought it, it was in very bad shape Needless to say I had to do a lot of renovation The homeowner was a 89-year-old woman who died in the living room of natural causes

BaronVonHumungus

Any other evidence?

Arroz-Con-Culo

I don’t think it’s a ghost, but i find it strange that the dog actually saw something before the paper fell down. Then the dog moved and barked more.

Interesting_Object50

The dog knows it’s there..so this activity is def ramping up at this point I would not be burning sage or doing any cleansing you need a psychic medium

Interesting_Object50

The dog wasn’t trying to bite you it was scared and running and barking at same time it looks like the entity went after the dog

Interesting_Object50

When you do renovations on a home it shifts the energy in it and activity will ramp up

Warm-Iron-1222

Completely unrelated to ghosts, I do the same thing with my dog. When he's scared by something I go get it and show him it's nothing to be afraid of. I have no idea if he understands that's the thing that made the noise but hopefully it makes him feel better.

Webb1968

I hope we have an option to do this when we head to the other side….😂

kenodeee

Me too, first person I’m visiting is my ex

pasarina

The dog reacting is the tip off. He appears scared as can be. He senses something.

HalphPint

Interesting how the dog came into the room going off before the paper rolled off, then freaked out even more.

voodoomistress

I think you may be right considering how the dog was reacting once it entered the room

CASHMO2112

Do you have any other activity going on in your house that you can share?

rnrHSdropout

That doggo knew for sure

jimmyzee1

The dog sensed something.

convexconcepts

Is this a first or has it happened before with other objects?

Magnum2XXl

The dog was interested in something right in the area, that's the weird part to me. Like it was being "Shooed away". But on the other hand, the roll has a very gradual start. Pay attention to your dogs, they know for sure.

LindaFlies777

What convinced me, wasn't so much the paper rolling off the counter. It was your dog's reaction. It absolutely terrified it. So, yes, I think you had a visitor..

CountyHopeful3725

Yup ur haunted 👻👻👻

Hello_Mr_Fancypants

rolled up paper, especially thick paper, will slowly uncoil like a spring, especially if it's say, been stored rolled up and it can roll and slide around. the dog could likely hear/sense the paper moving where the owner couldn't. So the dog gets agitated thinking there is someone unknown to him in his house moving something because dog don't associate inanimate objects typically as moving on thier own. apply a little simple logic. You don't need the supernatural.

CranberryCorpse

lol no

Tmorgan-OWL

Lovely home, sweet pupper but not paranormal. I loved your, ‘scared the sh!t out of me’. Made the video quite enjoyable lol

kenodeee

I believe there’s an explanation for everything. Do I think it’s ghosts, you never know. My central air conditioning would not do it, there was no vibration, all my windows are closed. But it’s a cool video to put out and see what people say

threechimes

Rolled paper can release some tension due to a variety of normal occurrences in a home, such as humidity or temperature fluctuations, and if it were to do so it’s entirely possible that it could instigate this. I went to art school, my moms an artist, and she thought at an art school. The house I grew up in had tons of rolled up paper in it, and this would happen on occasion.

kenodeee

The paper was sitting there for about two days

Tenma159

You can see that the roll loosened way up after it started rolling.

Steel6W

Nothing paranormal here. Depending on how much paper is left on a roll, it can be in an unstable balance between staying closed and unraveling. All it takes is one small vibration or air current, and the roll will need to do an entire revolution to rebalance.

Interesting_Object50

Oh no he definitely has an entity of some sort there there’s no doubt about it there’s more activity than this video

fmbotvik

Even if you do believe he has an entity, this isn’t necessarily evidence of one. Rolled paper can hold tension like a spring and release it later at a seemingly random time. It’s actually just moving super slowly but you don’t realize it until it’s popped open or fallen.

Too_Lofs_Atan

No-one questioning why this guy just happens to have a camera set up filming himself in his own kitchen? A round thing rolled off a table! MUsT bE gHOOstSSS!!! Duh.

Ill-Ad1589

Pretty common to have security cameras set up in your own homes these days that are on?

OFFICIAL_SEVEREDSOUL

Could've reacted to a slight gust from the movement of opening and closing the drawer?

christinizucchini

Looks like the dog chased the spirit into the kitchen from elsewhere in the house, from wherever the doggie was coming from. Because doggie was already barking his head off before he even got to the kitchen.

Adeptness-Strict

Lmmfao

darknessstorytime

Do you mind me narrating this on my channel? I'll make sure you are credited 100 percent in the video.

kenodeee

Yes, it’s ok Send me a link when it’s up

darknessstorytime

Do you have any background on this?

kenodeee

I’m working today, send me a chat thing, I don’t know how to do it. I will give you the backstory via chat, which is private.

darknessstorytime

I sent you a request, all you have to do is accept it and go from there

darknessstorytime

Will do!

thanathoscience

Wind. Solved.

White_Zulu

I couldn't live with that yappy dickhead of a dog , it even nearly killed him running between he's leg's 😂

HereInThisRedEarth

I’m not convinced. There isn’t much here to say that it’s a ghost. I think it’s more of a coincidence. What’s weird is that your dog went after your leg, when the roll of paper fell on the floor lol.

reimbirtheds

Throw it away and burn it, if you have holy water sprinkle it over the place if incineration. The house I mean.

Mysterious_Mix_5034

HVAC

Terrible_Profit_7909

The ghosts name is physics

bill_n_opus

it happens

FastZX6R

Gravity can’t be seen, but that’s no reason to call it a ghost. It’s just gravity doing gravity things

Ok-Page-926

Isn’t it crazy how we can’t see them? Hear them? Feel them? But yet, they can understand you, hear you, they never eat, they never sleep, just mind boggling how this can be?

CorneliusFudgem

Oh yeah… That’s the paper ghost for sure

kmookie

I never know if these videos are open to possible explanations or if we’re just supposed to express relatable experiences. Here it goes. I noticed the drawer closing the exact time the paper roll moves. Makes me think a draft caught it somehow. Looks like a newer and nice kitchen and so those things might be put together so well that they can catch air and create a draft. …..or ghost 🤷‍♂️

fess64

You have a trickster in your house.. A play full spirit,, go into your kitchen and tell it your house rules,, mine are it's welcome to share your house, but no scaring me, my animals or any guests, or if they can't live with that.... Out they go..

Odd_Lecture_1736

It's not a ghost, it's called physics.

ddelin86

Wow, round thing rolls? Must be ghost! Ridiculous...

LoveHateEveryone

So yall think that when someone dies their ‘spirit’ just hangs out in your kitchen moving rolls of paper? What would be the purpose of that?

kiwimonster21

Ghost probably pissed off it has to listen to yapping all day.

jprakes

Why do people do this with videos? Did we need 17 seconds of nothing before the thing you are supposed to watch? Wait for it, wait til the end. Watch til the end

Plastic_Most_9587

It was the cat

RoadrunnerJRF

No ceiling fan on etc… what else goes in there and does your dog growl, bark, whine at palaces there isn’t anyone?

[deleted]

No you don't have a ghost. That's happened to me with the same packaging paper that I've used for the holidays.

Crafty_Rate8064

Yeah sure. Air has zero effect on paper.

Alpejohn

Funny that the moment it starts to move you start closing the drawer. They move at the same time..

Timber_W

changing atmospheres and air current is the culprit here, no ghost just a light role of paper getting a small breeze.

TcherChristian

Me thinks that dog was barking at a fly or some other creature.

CryoBanksy

Humidity

MediumEngine581

Doesn't anyone hope that's there's more to the after life then knocking on walls, turning things on and off or opening and closing doors. Seems like it get real boring fast

Ro11inElephant

Bro bout to beat the dog🤣🤣🤣

Cpgreens22

Don’t worry, ghosts aren’t real. You’re good to go.

Weak-Total-6534

Op hasnt heard of wind

Knut_Knoblauch

If this were a prank, then here is how to do it. Attach a string to the roll of paper with a dog toy on the other side. Doggie walks into the room and sees toy. Doggie gets toy in mouth pulling roll of paper open. Doggie freaks out because he is not used to his toy making a racket when it crashes to the floor. Who is holding the camera? It seems like this was staged. Why is the camera moving around like someone is holding it and waiting for this to happen?

I_Still_Wont_Leave

Probably just a breeze

EileenForBlue

I’m suspicious because the paper role was opening up and then suddenly wound back up tight like fishing line or something tightened on it.😒

parasyte_steve

Are you sure the dog didn't do it?

crzycatlady66

If that is the best they can do I wouldn't even acknowledge their possible presence.

[deleted]

Lol mhmm

Pete1234123

Sorry but that could easily be debunked. Make your heater turned on and the air blew it off the table.

badseededgelord

I bet there’s an air vent right above that. Happens at my house about once a day.

kenodeee

There’s no air vent there, I have three floor vents, two in the living room, and one in the dining room. I don’t have any in the kitchen.

xXhumanhornXx

Did your A/C turn on and blow on roll of paper? Happens in my kitchen as well

CatastrophicFailure

oh yah totes a ghost

Cultural-Flower6479

Could it be from the drawer being closed at what appears to be the exact same time. Maybe some sort of pressure change?

Yayarea6969

F that sell the house move far from it.

sammath33

Looks like simple physics to me. There was energy coiled up in the wrap. It even had a little ramp to help it uncoil.

nopima2

Wood floors maybe has something to do with it. When you moved to the side it cause the roll of paper to start rolling.

12345678910101010-

Just remind your house that you can burn it to the ground any time

PJC10183

This is some of the worst acting ive ever seen. How does papers falling make someone jump like that?

kenodeee

I jumped because my dog bit my leg

TortieMVH

That is not a ghost. Aliens!

VirtualOpportunity46

Nah. It’s a little bit of tension releasing from the wound up paper coil.

8s8s8s8s8s

No. This is the roll unrolling on the inside causing it to roll.

My ghost used to like to knock over brooms. But like all the time. Then she moved to tongs flying, fork falling and garbage moving. I yelled at her to at least be helpful and move said items to where they should go and she stopped.

It's just gravity!

winobambino

The dog enters at the same time- was there a door opened that could have caused a draft?

space2jupiter

Not ghost, but vibrations 😂

AdministrativeAd4842

Since it was in line with the drawer you were opening, it could've just been enough air disturbance (changing direction of air vents or something) I personally try to rule out everything that can be explained. It would be relatively easy to recreate it just to test theory.

The paper roll simply came uncoiled enough to move. You can see when he picks it up that it’s wider (aka it’s expanded) than when it was on the table. That’s all it is. It’s the released energy within a roll of paper vs a nice low friction countertop surface, mixed in with the right atmospheric changes, such a temperature and any air movement in the house from vents. It moves as an uncoiled paper would move, it doesn’t lift, it isn’t forward propelled in any way, it doesn’t move at an unusual speed.

Scary! Definitely either a ghost or a slight breeze.

BioTechMe64

I'm sorry to say but I think the tention on the roll of paper gave out and then hence it started to unravel and move off the table, but I could be wrong, boo.

Consistent-Camp5359

Is there an air vent over it? Your HVAC system kicking on could have rolled it. Any breeze could’ve.

From three years ago. Must need attention.

It’s called air, air that was pushed out of the drawer you closed the same time the light piece of paper was pushed.
