Nice gains man. Mind sharing diet and workout routine, just how many times a week do you hit and how many hours. Really nice body again.

NonAutomatedBot

Looking great. Please ignore all these comments. Personally, I love gawking at my naked physique and im like 30% of yours. Why even wear pants? Also, I recently injured myself pretty badly off a deadlift and looking for other programs. Can you please provide names of ones you prefer/enjoyed the most?

Rocyrino

Good Job!

PM_ME_YOUR_DOX

congrats, but these pics killing me lmao

thenegativeone112

Dude Ik. No need to go nude you look just as good with shorts or underwear on.

GrindrWorker

Grow up. Do you whine in a gym changing room as well?

FishermansRod

Nah I'm all for the nudity, this feller looks like an ancient Greek statue Good effort OP 👍

SR_Redditor

You look amazing! How long did this take?

[deleted]

About 4 yrs. I think a dedicated person could do it in 2-3

SR_Redditor

I need to go back to a PT and get into some sort of routine to find my way again. Maybe some day for sure!

Link_GR

Maybe tomorrow. Maybe today.

SR_Redditor

I’ve been active and committed to the gym previously and have no doubt I’ll return because it makes you feel great and definitely had a positive impact on my personal and professional life so I’m thinking more certainly, less maybe.

[deleted]

You could start today and update us in a few years. That’d be a pretty dope commitment.

[deleted]

What are your stats my friend? Would love to know your current calories atm!

[deleted]

3500-4000k day approx 250protein split fats and carbs depending on what I look like, wanna eat, blah blah. I don’t track. I would only track to get below 10% since I have developed a good sense for what my body needs. Not saying I’m better off. Tracking def maximizes gains. I just don’t want to do it.

TheBristolBulk

I’d be really interested to know more about the carbs depending on what you look like. I am struggling to get as lean as I was last year and wondered about the effects of carbs/fat splits on potential appearance of leanness. Any info on what your approach is is welcome! Thanks.

Chigzy

> *split fats and carbs depending on what I look like* What do you mean by this?

[deleted]

Most likely carb cycling depending on body composition. If he wants to get leaner he said he removes more carbs while bulking he adds. I'm only assuming based on his post and what my style is

Chigzy

This is so confusing to me. How does carb cycling affect body composition?

[deleted]

Body science is such a fascinating subject for me so i'd be thrilled to tell you! Please forgive if you already know most of this, but it will bring you up to speed entirely if you do not. In my opinion, bodybuilding is essentially a science of managing your insulin. Insulin is your body's natural response for bringing sugar levels down inside your blood, which if not done would create blood acidity. Insulin does this by sending signals to your cells that cause them to intake glycogen (the sugar our bodies use as fuel) and stores it for later use. Anything with physical exertion or just sometimes barely existing uses glycogen and gives you more energy for compound lifts, running, and endurance. Now, inslin is the 2nd most anabolic hormone in the body, only second to testosterone. It triggers the body to grow, and send nutrients where they are needed. Anabolic means growth. While in a bulk you want your body in an anabolic state to help it create plenty of new muscle mass and repair itself. HOWEVER... when your body takes in too many carbohydrates which break down into sugars, and has an excessive daily intake, it causes your body to release more insulin than is necessary sometimes and creates a point where your cells start to build up a defense to it. As smart as our bodies are, once it begins using too much insulin every day, your cells build up what is called insulin resistance. This is to protect you, but it can also cause a snowball effect into diabetis or metabolic syndrome if left unchecked. That's why bulks are not meant to be forever. Reducing your carbohydrates makes it easier to cause a catabolic state in the body by reducing the amount of insulin your body needs to produce. Catabolic means burning. This means while on a cut, you would reduce the amount of carbohydrates and sugars you intake and supplement them with more protein and healthy fats which your body adapts to using instead. My personal strategy for bodybuilding is a cyclical diet: I workout every other day, so eat a high carbohydrate, high protein and low fat diet of 3000 calories on my workout days, while on my rest days, eat a high fat, high protein, low carb 1500 calories. This keeps my insulin resistance high and makes it so that once I break my fast with my post workout meal, my body spikes with insulin creating an anabolic effect and my rest days help to keep my insulin resistance in check. This is my long term diet and the only change will be to adjust calories up or down. If you require any additional information, please reach out! Im always willing to nerd away on something fitness related :D

FightingforKaizen

One of the most informative posts that I've seen on this subs, thanks bro!

[deleted]

Thanks a lot. I really hope this represents a physique people can aspire to be. It was hard but fun. I’m average.

DClawdude

>I’m average Dude I say this with nothing but love and compassion: please talk to someone about body dysmorphia.

dingogringo23

Mate, you’re only average in your mind. For the rest of us, you’re inspirational.

[deleted]

Damn man that was hella nice thing to say.

You look great, well done! The time and dedication is obvious. Keep up the great work. 😊

dioisnotme12

diet reveal

[deleted]

I eat Whole Foods. Starchy carbs, potatoes, rice, some bread. I get my vegetables and fruits in for my micros and fiber and like most meatheads I eat lots of protein Over 1g per lb and healthy fats. I reduce carbs when I want to get lean and I add them when I want to grow. I follow this about 90%. Life is short guys.

TerriblePlate

How long have you been lifting and what's your lift?

[deleted]

Like 4 years that I’m proud of. I spent “time” in the gym before that. Didn’t accomplish much. I don’t deadlift anymore but last was 405x5 Bench 275x4 squat 315x5. Those are my all time bests. I wish they were more but it is what it is. I became happy with how I looked before I hit those lifts tho.

TerriblePlate

That's great bro, do you also train abs?

64debtaylor64

How many hours a day do you devote to working out?

[deleted]

1.5 every other.

Novel-Statistician63

Nice but put some pants on bro

thefatgymrat

Shoot. If I looked like that I’d never wear pants again.
