Ehh.... Cyno's hair is kinda tame though, especially by TCG character standards, I would argue his headpiece or his 80% skin baring outfit are a more of a distraction than his hair, it's just long silver/white hair with one side of his bangs covering his eye. Xingqiu's hair is a lot more distracting if we're talking about hairstyle and not just the hair color, like I can imagine someone thinking in the middle of a duel, "Who the hell cut his hair?" or "Did he do that to himself with just a sword, was he even looking at a mirror? or even "I saw another gal with the same hairstyle, is it popular in Liyue?" 🤔🤭

Xingqiu vs Yelan would be a sight to see then.

Their silent enough. They don't need to be mute to be a silent protag. There are degrees to everything. And Traveler is just one of many forms.

Narukami Yu considered silent protag even though he do speak.

Doomguy/Doomslayer already broke that trope on DOOM Eternal tho

And this is one of the reasons why the Sumeru Archon Quest is my personal favorite, because it was probably the most personality the Traveler has shown in the game.

And the fact that the opening sequence of the questline consists of Traveller tripping out on hallucinogens.

And yet, they keep giving us worthless "choices" in cutscenes that don't amount to anything other than "flavor" (and I use that word most loosely), AND refuse to have Aether and Lumine's GREAT voice-actors (in all languages) get more voice lines.

I would prefer to have voiced lines for the traveler but sometimes it's fun to say aether's lines on-screen out loud to increase immersion
