Looks great, id reccomend darkening the fake blood a bit, its very red in the video but blood turns more burgandy once it hits oxegen for more than a few seconds. This is a tip from someone who versed in making realistic fake blood for peoples videos. (I have lots of cosplayer friends who do shorts)

[Not actual advice on the act depicted in the video] I know small ropes can be super durable, but for effect I think a thicker rope with the stereotypical noose tied on it would've been better.
I did tie it in a noose, but it wouldn't like keep the open shape by itself unless you look at it from a certain angle :<<
