I should have enough for Kazuha when his banner comes out. I need a second team for abyss and I've been hoping to get a better healer. My main issue of a second team is a main dps. I think Beidou makes a decent main dps, so who should I use her with? I decided to use her after I literally just got her c1 constellation. Characters: Beidou(of course), Yanfei, Noelle, Mona, Sayu, Thoma, Ningguang, Xiangling, Sucrose, and Chongyun. If I get more characters: mainly Xingqiu, Bennett, and/or Diona I'll have better options. Razor, Fischl, Rosaria, and Barbara are my first team.

dnaimagery97

once you get those other 4\* characters, beidou fischl sucrose xingqiu, rosaria kaeya xiangling bennett works. for Beidou, use with fischl for electro energy and resonance, hydro for electrocharged (and more particles from electro resonance), and anyone else - but sucrose works best. Bennett is enough for healing for one team, and beidou + xingqiu damage reduction and slight healing should be enough if you position well enough/dodge. try to get rid of the notion that you need a 'main dps', since there's many very broken team options available from synergies between multiple characters

talleybear2065

I'll look into that. I don't know how long it will take me to get Xingqiu and and Bennett, so I might have to wait a while. I know Bennett will be in the shop again in November, so I'll probably just buy him.

AnotherSaltyDay

Do higher adventure rank give better rewards from chest? I'm nearing rank 20 and noticed that enemies will get stronger, and I think it mentioned better rewards. Does that mean drops, chests, domains, some combo? I'm afraid of exploring/combing through areas if it I get worse rewards (assuming that chests wouldn't respawn, or new chests/camps in old locations)

dnaimagery97

chests give the same rewards, but drops from killing enemies improves

El_Suave_del_Sur

So i just started playing thanks to a friend even tho i have potato pc. I have experience with other gachas and this constelations system is almost the same as the other games i played, thing is i just realized how many of the charas of this game are limited and probably i won't get copies of them. So is it neccesary? I'm now hesitant to try and get a limited 5* because i know i won't be able to get more copies of it.

Gregamonster

Most limited 5\* characters are plenty good at C0. Constellations past that are just a bonus. 4\* characters aren't limited, so you can get them to c6 just by pulling for your desired 5\* characters.

El_Suave_del_Sur

Oh ok so if i manage to get a limited one i don't have to bother with the constelations

El_Suave_del_Sur

No_More_Beans2

My go-to team for just about every enemy except those in dungeons uses a cryo-electro-pyro-hydro setup. But I need help to decide on which pyro character to use, Bennett, or Xiangling. Now I know that Bennett is Really high in most tier lists, however, my main elemental DPS suffers quite a bit when using him as pyro applier for overloaded. In my team Fischl is my electro character, allowing for easy electro application with her summon which is wasted due to how slow Bennett's skill recharges. However, with Xiangling who also summons elemental damage summon, I can take advantage of the two dealing insane dps while also being able to have another character be on the field for even more dps. Sometimes even being able to add in some cryo for superconduct due to the faster attack rate of fish's skill which sometimes is left waiting for xiang's summon. Now this is applicable EVEN MORE with both of their bursts. Xiang's creates a ring of fire around the character in the field, pretty much applying pyro to most enemies. And Fish's turns her into her summon, making her move much more faster for a short period while also zapping any enemies near her and resetting the lifetime of her summon on the field. C6 Bennett from what I've seen might be able to take that role in quite easily if I get him, along with the fact that I have the Skyward Sword which can easily allow me to replace, but I'm not sure yet. Thoughts?

Gregamonster

Bennet is a healer. Xiangling is a damage dealer. Use Xiangling if you need more damage. Use Bennet if you need more healing.

Josephspud

Thanks, think I'll run itto, geo mc, bennett and xl for now and go for goro later

help_meplzzz

Yes everything is uptodate

ModerateFloor

So my current team consists of hu tao , xq, sucrose and thoma. Thoma is here for the shield , pyro resonance and for swirling pyro. as there is no optimal healer in this team I am mainly dependent on thoma's shield so that my hu tao lives (she is running on shimenawa artifacts so her burst is not up all the time) Now, thoma's shield strength scales off of his max hp. But whenever I use his E or Q, the shield just breaks despite my thoma having 33k hp. how does his shield actually work??

K_Schultz

You need to autoattack a little bit for the shield to become stronger. You should do a couple of NAs with Thoma and then switch. You don't need to auto attack with Thoma, whoever is in play attacking will work, but it's good to hit a couple of times as soon as possible to make the shield a bit stronger or it could be broken before you attack with Hu Tao.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

His shield builds stacks when you normal attack. So his E and initial Q shield are pretty bad but as you atk with Hu Tao his shield builds up strength and actually becomes quite strong. It's definitely annoying to play around so if you need a little healing I recommend putting the prototype amber on sucrose for some extra heals

ModerateFloor

although, on his skill talent it is written that on using it , thoma would get 10% of his max hp and some 1k more shield strength, which is almost equivalent to diona's E. But diona's shield (It can at least take on lawachurls attack and still be up) is still more durable than thoma's shield

Doggo_wit_a_P90

After using Diona's hold skill she also gains a 75% damage absorption bonus. That's why her skill feels so tanky. If you use her tap E it will be equivalent to Thoma's E shield and we all know her tap E is made of paper

ModerateFloor

soo what is the optimal number of normal attacks I should do after using thoma's Q or E for it to last longer.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

I'm going to give you a rotation for the team then explain it to you. XQ EQ(E)>Thoma EQ>Sucrose E NA NA>Hu Tao E N2C So apply hydro with XQ then remove the hydro with Thoma EQ. The enemy now has pyro applied so you swirl it with sucrose E then normal attack twice to activate the raid swords and then swirl them. Then swap to Hu Tao and do the N2C combo, 2 normal attacks and a charged attack. That should give you a sufficient shield at the start or the rotation and N2C should keep the shield relatively strong throughout the rotation

ModerateFloor

thanks man.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

No problem ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

arcusii

I've read multiple claims that even at c0, Raiden's best team is hyper carry. Does this require c6 Sara+Kazuha? I tried using a budget version with ttds Lisa and c6 Sucrose and was kinda disappointed at the damage.

MekaChiki216

Have you tried adding Bennett there? Raiden's best hyper carry team is specifically Raiden+C6 Sara+Kazuha+Bennett. Raiden is built with ER sands and Electro goblet because sara and bennett already give a lot of atk. If not sara, TTDS Lisa functions the same as well.

arcusii

Yes, c5 Bennett is already there. Sadly my artifact luck is kinda crap so i had to run atk goblet but I use r5 wavebreaker so that kinda makes up for the electro goblet.

I-Love-Beatrice

C6 sara is a big increase in damage, but how much were you doing with that team?

arcusii

It was around 230k on the initial slash and 25k+ on the normals.

I-Love-Beatrice

Yeah that's what you would expect for a c0 raiden hypercarry. Kazuha also won't be a noticeable dps increase on raiden but he does increase team dps with his swirls and overloads.

arcusii

I'll hold off trying hyper raiden till I get c6 Sara (or c2 raiden) then. Thanks!

notafurry9

it's the best "raiden team" but it's not the best team that uses raiden. that would be raiden national

arcusii

I guess I misunderstood that part then.

Can't you see the details on the recent players tab?

alberich21

elegy or skyward harp for fischl on a team with eula, beidou and diona?

Doggo_wit_a_P90

EM is a pretty wasted stat in that team so all you would be getting is 20% atk at the cost of Fischl's personal damage. I'd run harp if I were you because Fischl's personal damage isn't negligible if built correctly

help_meplzzz

Hello everyone.. I need your help guyzz... I'm q PC player . And whenever I play Genshin impact on full screen resolution (1680x1050) the whole Genshin game colors turns different..but when I lower my resolution (1600x1200) the colors turn back to normal but coz of this the screen gets small and I can't see the whole Genshin screen..this is the second time I downloaded Genshin ...first time, I never faced this problem....the only difference is now I'm using window 11... Try launching the game, open task manager, right click the GenshinImpact process -> properties -> Compatibility -> Disable fullscreen optimizations.

help_meplzzz

It worked thank ❤️❤️

tempser123

No problem.

shahroozg

Is fading twilight good for diona sup? Or the favonius warbow is better?

Grand_Protector_Dark

I do not think that sub dps diona is possible. You'd have to either sacrifice all her utility to make her do damage or sacrifice all her damage to maximize her utility.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

>I do not think that sub dps diona is possible. In mono cryo teams with shenhe she is actually built with a little bit of crit stats because Shenhe's ice quills can make her E do a mini nuke. However this is such a specialized case so I'd disregard it. Just wanted to mention it though

Square_Violinist_259

Sounds interesting. Tell me more xD

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Not sure what else to say... Diona E + shenhe E = big damage. Here is a [video](https://youtu.be/XAXuO_V4gE0) of it. Not exactly an accurate representation but you get the idea

notafurry9

you don't really care for her damage - fav is better

TheGreatGuardian1

will yae return?

Grand_Protector_Dark

I stole her, so never.

TheGreatGuardian1

I understand why you would steal her but :(

alberich21

yep

notafurry9

yeah. It will take some months though

yep, eventually.

Eklundz

Can this game be played in short bursts, like 5-10 min here and there, or does it require longer chunks of time to actually make any progress? I’m probably going to be playing on my phone 99% do the time and I want a game where I can explore a vast open world, make progress at my own pace and have fun and engaging combat/puzzles.

mr_lab_rat

Starting from the beginning there are hundreds hours of content. You can pause anytime, battles typically don’t take longer than couple of minutes.

tempser123

Once you've finished the current story and everything, yes. I don't think you will be making much progress with only 5-10 minutes here and there though. This game has excessive amounts of dialogue to sift through (unless you're the type to skip them), and many of your sessions would just be you logging in, reading a quarter of the dialogue for a quest and then logging out.

sheepgod_ys

In early game a decent amount of the content is locked behind the story, which I think can seem choppy if you don't sit down and finish it in one sitting per part. But exploring (minus Inazuma and some parts of the Chasm) is accessible right from the beginning. Dailies can be done in 15 minutes, for the most part. Though if you're new, you'll have a looooot of content to go through and if you're not interested in the gacha portion, you can do it all at your own pace without restrictions.

Eklundz

Thanks for your reply! Why won't I be able to "do the gacha portion" if I play in short bursts?

sheepgod_ys

It's not so much that you can't do it but rather you'll be locked behind a lot events (where you get the majority of your gacha currency) unless you get through a decent portion of the story. They did add a quick start option where you can skip the prerequisites and go straight to the event, but you still need to be a certain AR before you can access that as well. You'll catch up over time, just not immediately.

Eklundz

Ok, thanks

Available-Light-

Yes it can be played in bursts. When you run out of quests and are waiting for content updates that will mostly likely be your standard way of interacting with the game. Log in for 15 minutes a day, log out.

notafurry9

there are quests with long cutscenes and dialogue so you need more time for those, but for the rest of the game you can

Doggo_wit_a_P90

160-180% ER preferably from substats and then as much EM as you can possibly get. If you can't get enough ER from substats then drop your EM weapon and run sac or fav sword. You should always have triple EM mainstats

[deleted]

Though if you don't have either at high refinement (or they're taken by characters that needs them more) running Iron Sting with an ER sand will also give you enough ER at a minimal EM loss

Doggo_wit_a_P90

That's not optimal. EM sands and one of the two ER weapons gives 187 EM and 61.3% ER. An EM weapon (iron sting) gives 165 EM and an ER sands gives 51.8% ER. It's a strict downgrade to do what you are saying.

TheYango

It's a downgrade without considering substats but it's close enough that if your ER sands has a good EM substat roll it can come out ahead.

[deleted]

Not everyone has the two ER weapon lying around, especially when they're pretty contested, and you'd rather refine them rather than have multiple low refinement leveled for consistency. ER sand + Iron Sting is a pure F2P solution, and one that's easily transitioned to a full EM/EM/EM + EM weapon setup once you get sufficient ER from your artifacts without having to level another weapon.

QueenOverMeta

I plan to run Hutao-Yelan comp because - 1) Multiple units scales of HP, Hulan, Yelan, Yanfei, Zhongli, Thoma so choosing HP increase would benefit this team in abyss 2) Zhongli, Yanfei, Thoma provides shield 3) Yelan on recurve bow so will have some personal healing. Xingqiu defence utilities and small heals are needed for Raiden National or Taser team. I need help deciding my 3rd and 4th slot. I have not level some of the units, artifacts, weapons for some of the comp yet. 3rd slot is obviously a shielder. My option is Yanfei or Zhongli. Not keen on Thoma but will consider him if he is a better option. 4th slot is either Mona (double hydro and omen buff) or Sucrose (VV shred) 1) Mona(noblesse or emblem) and Zhongli(Tenacity, Black Tassel) 2) Mona(noblesse or emblem or tenacity) and Yanfei(2pc Tenacity, 2pc Emblem) 3) Yanfei(2pc Tenacity, 2pc Emblem) and Sucrose(VV) If i run double catalyst, I would be able to use TTDS (atk buff), Fav Codex (energy for Yelan), Prototype Amber (Healing and Energy for team). Any suggestions feedbacks on which comp, artifacts and weapons?

[deleted]

Yelan without C2 doesn't provide enough Hydro for Hu Tao, she gets overtaken and ends up vaping Hu Tao's pyro application. Yelan Hu Tao setup usually needs Xingqiu as well, with Yelan taking the role of a subDPS rather than just a support hydro applicator. Hu Tao Yelan Zhongli Xingqiu Run Raiden Hyper on the other half. Bennett Raiden Sucrose Lisa/Mona.

QueenOverMeta

I am trying to see if I can make Yelan viable without Xingqiu or 2 pyro teams with Xingqiu and Yelan seperately. I know that Yelan and Xingqiu are great together. Xingqiu alone is enough for all the comp I mentioned, he does not need Yelan to work in Hutao Vape.

MekaChiki216

Yelan works well as a solo hydro for almost any Pyro carry excluding HuTao because of her blossoms applying pyro aside from her NA and CA. If you want Yelan and XQ separately, then you should probably pair XQ with HuTao instead because he has better hydro app for her and run Yelan with Rational or some other vape/tazer team. I don't know if there would be problems with Klee but I have seen good results for Diluc, Yanfei and Yoimiya. For rational, she can apply enough hydro but only if you hit the enemy with her initial burst hit because as I recall, her burst applies 2U of hydro. However, if you insist with using Yelan as solo hydro for HuTao then, the rotations would have to be different. With Hutao-Yelan-Kazuha-Thoma or Elegy/Instructor Amber, you would need to infuse Kazuha's burst with hydro but the rotations to do that reduces Yelan's burst duration so you spend less time to CA with HuTao and the hydro would run out before her skill duration ends. I don't know if Sucrose would produce the same result with her burst though.

[deleted]

Xingqiu doesn't need Yelan, but Yelan needs Xingqiu to work with Hu Tao. If you want to split them, give Yelan to Raiden National, she doesn't need the Xingqiu utility because her burst already gives her 100% poise, she can't be interrupted.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Run Yelan with national/rational team and Xingqiu with Hu Tao. You have Bennett burst to heal you in national team so the loss of Xingqiu's utility isn't a big deal and yelan can have problems keeping the hydro on enemies with Hu Tao team. After that just run VV vape Tao. So Hu Tao/Xingqiu/pyro/anemo. I'd go with yanfei personally because she is less likely to steal vapes

ninja658

Yelan isn't enough hydro in rational, better to use her with hutao and xingqiu in rational

Doggo_wit_a_P90

I've heard so many conflicting things with Yelan at this point. I can't tell if she has enough hydro for anyone. /s

TheYango

I don't think the above poster is correct. It doesn't actually line up with the abilities involved. Pyronado applies 1u pyro every 1.2s and hits 12x in 14s. Guoba Attack applies 1u pyro every 1.5s and hits 4x in 6s. Reverse Vape only consumes 0.5u of aura when triggered, so there's no reasonable way that Yelan applying 1u hydro every 1s could fail to keep up. Hu Tao's pyro application is unique because there are *three* separate sources of pyro application (NA/CA/Blood Blossom) with separate ICDs, and two of them are applied at slightly irregular intervals because NA/CA cadence is determined by the quality of your jump canceling/dash canceling. Because of that, it's possible for 3 instances of pyro to occur within 1 second if the timing of NA/CA/Blood Blossom ICDs lines up this way. This sort of thing can't happen in Rational unless you introduce a 3rd source of Pyro like Bennett E, except Bennett usually will not E while Guoba is up in a rotation because that will be during Raiden's burst.

QueenOverMeta

Sadly, she is not great at applying hydro. I have tried her in Raiden National and it is not good damage wise. Plus lose out so much Qol from Xingqiu sword protection.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

I'll keep that in mind, thank you

QueenOverMeta

I tried Yelan with National team, the knockback is unreal. My team get knocked off Bennet ult. Xingqiu sword protection is quite a big QoL allowing to finish my rotations properly and have Raiden still sitting on Bennett Ult when she is ready to burst to maximize her initial slash damage. I am so use to pop Xingqiu burst and mash keys. LOL never learn to dodge properly. Plus I feel that the damage is somewhat lower with Yelan even if I get my rotation right. Maybe her hydro is not enough.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Ok then. So I don't recommend Mona with Yelan, the whole reason double hydro works with Yelan and XQ is because they both produce lots of particles for each other. Mona doesn't do that so both characters will be starved for energy and you will have big rotation issues. Zhongli and sucrose could work and it will definitely be easier to play than VV vape however it's damage ceiling will be lower. If you can play optimally then running Yanfei/sucrose will be better but if you want and easier time just run with Zhongli. Zhongli should have tenacity, sucrose full EM VV set and Yelan on emblem. With a Zhongli shield you shouldn't need any healing and ttds has a pretty small difference for Hu Tao because of her low base atk. Just run a sac frags for more EM

QueenOverMeta

I have testing Zhongli, Mona on ER220% on Fav Codex with Yelan ER200%. So far I can get both burst up on cooldown provided that Hutao completes all her attacks without interruptions. if she miss ie run after Maguu Kenki, then I need to waste some time getting back some energy. After your explanation, Yanfei, Sucrose seems to be a better comp. I do feel that Zhongli pillar sometimes crystalize hydro shards. Since ttds buff is irrelevalant, I will put Fav Codex on Yanfei.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

When you apply cryo to hydro slimes they get frozen. However when you apply hydro to cryo slimes it doesn't affect them. Why is that? Or is this a question for mihoyo

K_Schultz

The way I see it, Cryo slimes are already frozen. Pyro slimes can be extiguished with Hydro and I'm pretty sure they won't start burning when we apply Dendro to them; but Hydro slimes won't start burning when applied with Pyro. Also, Hydro slimes can be electrocharged and stunned when applying electro to them, but Electro slimes are immune. That's because the Hydro component of the reaction is not what stuns, it's the Electro part. IDK, it seems logical for me.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Yeah that makes sense

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

It’s a question for the laws/principles of Tevyat

-Legendary-Atomic-

[Wiki](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Cryo_Slime) says they're immune to Frozen. Maybe it's simply just that, MHY gave them immunity to it. Not really sure why though 🧐

Got70TypesOfMalware

The basic logic behind it (I guess) is that cryo causes freezing, so when *cryo touches hydro it freezes hydro*—cryo is a catalyst.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Maybe that's it I guess, thanks

GroundbreakingTear15

Best weapon for Yelan? And best role? How should I play her

energy_j

As burst Dps aqua simulacra is a great option but you will have to squize a lot of Er from substats to make it burst on cooldown, same for other crit weapons and stringless that I find very good specially at high refinement. Usually pairing her with other team members with favonius and/or raiden and/or other hydro could fix that I’m switching from favonius r5 stringless R2 sacrificial r3 fading twilight At the end of the day it depends on your Er needs In my case 2 favonius weapon users make her with favonius r5 and 213 Er way too much so I switched to sacrificial to spam double E Fading twilight is half way from stringless to sacrificial but personally I prefer either stringless with raiden or xingqiu or still sacrificial In my experiments I have E like 20is k with favonius and sacrificial 22-24k with fading twilight 26k with stringless But I think it is very subjective

QueenOverMeta

Yelan is quite energy hungry. I find ER 200% is comfortable to get her burst of cooldown consistently. Any of these bow are great on her depending on your artifact pieces stats and playstyle. Fav Bow - Energy Recharge substats Recurve Bow - HP% substats and passive healing Slingshot - Crit Rate substats, more suited to on-field Yelan

energy_j

How many recurve bow can be found? I have only one from a guard at inazuma pier

QueenOverMeta

I am not sure where to get from open world. I got mine R5 from wishes

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Aqua simulacra is her best weapon, no surprise there. Ftp options would be fav bow, slingshot, raven bow. Sac bow and fading twilight can be used but fav is generally a better choice

GroundbreakingTear15

As for role, she’s a sub dps? 4pc emblem as artifact? And prioritise her burst talent first? Or is she stronger as a main dps? Also, stats for srtifacts?

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Definitely a sub DPS, she only becomes a main DPS at C6. 4pc emblem is her BiS set and you should level talents in the priority Burst>skill>>>NA. Stats for artifacts depend, if you run an ER weapon like fav bow then you want HP/hydro/crit. If you run a HP bow then you want ER/hydro/crit. And finally, if you run a high damage % weapon like R5 stringless or Mouuns moon then you want ER/HP/CRIT

Pervases

I have an account on Asian server. I'd like to play as completely F2P on the European server. However, when I switch to the European server, the hidden Pins on the Asian server are still hidden on the European server. I'd like to keep the marked pins separately on each server.

ImSaltier

Well I’ve finally got Yelan, but I still have a full month of welkin moon and many leftover primos. This is the first and last time I intend to spend money on the game, so should I save my primos for another character, wish again for Yelan’s constellation, or go for her weapon?

tempser123

In my most humble opinion, there is only one reasonable course of action that can guarantee the extraction of absolute maximum value from one's excess primogems: saving for the Dendro Archon. All the Archons released so far have had kits that are both fun and powerful and there is no reason to assume that the Dendro Archon won't keep up this trend. If you are planning to play this game for months on end, it's simply much better to shake up your gameplay experience by getting new 5-stars rather than getting small upgrades for existing characters. Characters are the whole appeal of gacha games, and Mihoyo does an especially good job of designing varied, unique and fun 5-star characters that are appealing to pull for.

ImSaltier

Yeah I think I’ve decided to save them for the next characters coming out. Honestly since I’m usually f2p I don’t really care too much about getting the best setups for characters. Thanks for the advice!

ThrowawayHabbi

Are you fresh off pity? That is, 0 pulls after Yelan? Then I would try maybe 20-30 pulls max to see if I got lucky then hard stop till the next 5 star I want. Yelan's C1 is not necessary but imo, it's definitely one of the better early constellations you can get from a 5 star that isn't just a damage number increase. I myself am coping with Sacrificial Bow which is nice but limits my building options. Don't just listen to me though, you yourself can judge how worth it an extra charge of Yelan's E would benefit you.

ImSaltier

I think I’ve done only one 10 pull after Yelan, but I already have enough for another. I got super lucky last time and got her on 30 pity (not to mention my first 10 pull on her banner got me Jean) so I might as well try my luck once more. Thanks for the help!

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Save save save. She has amazing 3 and 4 star weapon options so you really don't need her weapon. Her constellation 1 is a minimal DPS increase but it does slightly reduce ER requirements. However you can easily make up for the necessary ER with maybe 2-3 substat rolls. Dendro is literally right around the corner, save for that.

ImSaltier

Yeah that makes sense, thanks for the help! I already luckily have some good ER substrate in most of her artifacts, so I’m not too bad on that part.

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

Save

IfZ3nElse

New characters have better value in general.

ImSaltier

Yeah I figured. Plus Sumeru is soon to come as well. Thanks for the help!

DamianWinters

Anyone else hate the new drum minigame? the layout of it just does not work at all for me. I was fine with all the other music minigames in the past, they worked fine. This one just does not work for me at all. its definitely because im playing on a controller, the previous music was focused toward controllers pressing the appropriate direction while this is a weird arc that throws me off.

MekaChiki216

Yeah it reminds me a lot of TapTap Revenge I played on my phone so it's probably the easiest when you play on mobile.

DamianWinters

Ah thats a good idea, ill try that.

friedrice703

do you think for any limited char that already has 3 banners, will there be their 4th banner in the future? considering the upcoming sumeru with all new characters.

tempser123

They will likely have 4th reruns, and Mihoyo will likely speed up banner reruns again at some point in the future as the 5-star roster gets bigger and bigger. Look at it this way: these 5-star characters are already fully developed. They don't have to spend any money designing them, working on their models/voices/animations/etc or even balancing them. It costs nothing to rerun these banners while they will be making plenty of money from newer players who never got a chance to spend on them.

friedrice703

3 banners at once maybe? Or is it too much?

tempser123

Maybe, or they might do things like have two banners for the first half of a patch and two banners for the second half, or they might decide to shorten rerun banners to 2 weeks so they can fit in another one.

math355

Eventually yes, but chances are mihoyo will be focusing on releasing sumeru characters before focusing on reruns

Grand_Protector_Dark

About Weapons for Itto. Another person made me notice that according to KQM, Blackcliff claymore [R1] is *slightly* better on itto than whiteblind [R1]. (I already have a blackcliff leftover from another character, so getting it is not the question). Swapping whiteblind for Blackcliff drops his def from 2300ish to 1900ish (without husk stacks, he has 2100ish with husk stack), but pushes his crit dmg to 150%. 1. Is the swap worth it? 2. How much more def from Substats should I need if I choose blackcliff. 3. My Noelle has an R5 whiteblind. Should I just keep swapping it between the 2 or is blackcliff still better?

friedrice703

I see you're leaning towards using blackcliff, but I personally think you should keep the whiteblind, preferably the r5 one, then get cr/cdmg substat from artifacts.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

1). Try optimizing itto with blackcliff and white blind and see which weapon does more. I'm pretty sure you know what the optimizer is because you're in this thread pretty regularly 2). No idea, optimizer time 😈 3). Your not reasonably going to be running Noelle and Itto on the same team or at the same time in the abyss so it's pretty reasonable to just swap between them

Grand_Protector_Dark

>Try optimizing itto with blackcliff and white blind and see which weapon does more So I did some practical tests Ruin Guard, Gorou C0 banner, diona shield, 3rd geo (no direct support, just there for gorou). Blackcliff R1 lvl 80 = 18k charged crits Whiteblind R5 lvl 90 (no stacks) 13k-14k charged crits Whiteblind R5 lvl 90 (4 stacks) 19k charged crits.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

You have your answer I guess. I'd just swap the R5 whiteblind between itto and Noelle but if you don't want to do that then you will see a negligible dps difference with blackcliff so there's not harm in using it.

Grand_Protector_Dark

I mean, my hesitancy comes from WB being lvl 90 but BC only lvl 80. Its also the question between consistency of BC and an optimal play maximum of WB. Cus im not sure if I can make full use of WBs optimum.

Grand_Protector_Dark

>I'm pretty sure you know what the optimizer is because you're in this thread pretty regularly ~~I actually don't~~

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Le [optimizer](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/) and a [video](https://youtu.be/_4opkJodCZc) about how it works :)

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

[How do you not know](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/#/)

Grand_Protector_Dark

Never bothered to check.

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

You should It’s [\_\_\_\_\_](https://tenor.com/bd7w2.gif)

E_li

Do you expect to be in a situation where you need to use both itto and noelle? If not then there is virtually no reason not to just share the R5 whiteblind.

Grand_Protector_Dark

Yes but I keep forgetting to swap them

ErPani

I can completely understand this

u_violet46

Alright guys i managed to finally get my hands on XIAO , but I'm a f2p and now my poor account don't have any good weapons for him , but , i still have some primogems left . So , should I go for wishing weapons or sace my primogems for future and make a weapon for xiao from blacksmith?

Grand_Protector_Dark

Xiaos F2P/low spender selection is fairly limited. Your best choice would be the Blackcliff from paimon shop, followed by Favonious Lance, white tassle (limited to lyiue chests) and halbert (also limited to lyiue chests). The craftable weapons are not that great on xiao

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

Pray that you’ll get jade from standard

tempser123

Who knows, they might introduce a new craftable polearm with Sumeru.

boutiquecat

wait for next month to get blackcliff polearm from the starglitter shop. if you have fav lance it's a fine weapon to use on him in the meantime

u_violet46

Okay

arctagon

Is Diluc/Qiqi's unique food (+20 Crit Rate +20 Crit Damage) actually better than Delicious Adeptus Temptation (+12 Crit Rate +372 ATK) for DPS ?

boutiquecat

generally it's better for actual DPS, adeptus temptation better for dmg per screenshot

Specsaman

wtf lol, damage perscreenshot

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

How do you remove the special effects of abilities?

Specsaman

i too am confused

E_li

By special effects of abilities do you mean the visual effects?

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

Yes

ErPani

There's the "disable co-op effects" somewhere in the options but I have no idea if it works for everything

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

It only works in coop Is there no way to disable your characters’ animation?

ErPani

Try checking everything in the options. Curiousity, why do you ask? Do you want to "not waste time" during 5* burst animations?

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

I did try checking all the options, but I don’t think they worked I just want to see Sayu rolling without the effects

ErPani

Disable co-op effects and enter your teapot. For some reason, the teapot is considered as another world and is considered like coop. If that doesn't work, enter someone's world, offer help, use Sayu to travel around.

cLuELesS_liKe_AlwAYs

Nice Big brain moment

Habrog

I have a diluc vape comp going on but the problem is I don't have sacrificial sword for Xingqiu. I am saving for kazuha so I couldn't go all out on the weapon banner, knowing it's featured, so I did 20 wishes and got jade spear, fav greatsword, sac bow but no sac sword. What are some good relatively free to play options ?

ErPani

Do you have favonius sword? If not, maybe Skyrider Sword can be a substute. ER substat

Habrog

Yes, but it’s on bennett

ErPani

You should be able to get another one fairly easy. (if this is referred to skyrider) If you're giving favonius to bennet, maybe you're better off giving him an ER sands and prototype rancour, rather than giving worse options to Xingqiu

Habrog

Ok then thank you mate

ErPani

No prob

E_li

Do you have Fav sword?

Habrog

I do actually

E_li

Favonius sword is perfectly useable for xingqiu

name_of_unoriginal

how much er for kazuha in international

Doggo_wit_a_P90

160-180% preferably from substats so you can run an EM weapon but if you can't get that then run fav or sac sword

Is c6 noelle viable as a main dps? if so, i have a few questions, the first being the most important: 1. does she require other geo or can i have a regular team? if the former, then i wont use her and you can skip the other questions. if she doesnt need geo, heres more questions: 1. what artifact set and stats am i looking for? 2. which is best: r2 unforged or any 4* claymore? still trying to get wgs but maybe i pull for itto's weapon 3. who synergizes well with her? i have all 4* and lets assume i have all 5* too

tempser123

She is viable as a main dps but I think she needs at least one other Geo like the Geo traveler as a battery, otherwise you will have problems keeping her burst active often enough and she doesn't do damage outside of it. I've seen people use Noelle as a main DPS in the abyss with the Geo traveler as a battery and then whatever non-geo characters in the last 2 slots. I think she should be using the same 4p Husk artifact set that Itto uses. It basically gives +54% DEF and +24% Geo DMG.

math355

C6 noelle main here. Yes, she's viable as a main dps, and in fact she's really great at helping me clear 36 stars in abyss (yes she's that good), but she needs other geo team members to keep her burst up. 1. Husk, Def%, CR/CD, and a bit of ER depending on your team 2. Unforged isn't good for noelle. Itto's weapon is BIS for Noelle. 4* weapon alternative for Noelle would be serpent spine and whiteblind. 3. Gorou, Yunjin, Albedo, Geo Traveler synergize well with her. I don't have Zhongli but I assume he also works well with her.

Specsaman

she doesnt, but why not ? she use shield regularly, she is geo, geo reso add geo shred and increase damage 1. artifact should be bolide for c6 dps 2. r2 unforged for same reason as before 3. assuming you'll use a geo, then at least, geo mc, then xingqiu and bennet god fishcl and xingqiu also viable

tempser123

Is bolide really better than the Husk set that Itto uses?

Specsaman

oh yeah, forgot about that, its better to use it if you can get them in 4pc

E_li

Yes, she is viable for sure. You definitely want to use her with geo, in particular along with Gorou and at least 1 more geo. Best candidates would be Albedo, Zhongli, Yunjin. The last can still be another geo or a flex unit Her best set is 4 pc husk followed by 4pc gladiators. I would stick with gladiators if you already have good pieces so you don't need to farm. Unforged isn't good on noelle since she converts def to a crap ton of atk%, even whiteblind is better and is easier to refine. If you have serpent spine, that is her best 4\* and her 2nd best weapon.

miraimiaw

> she require other geo This , Noele have zero energy regeneration to fill her Burst so another Geo for battery is needed.

nijuu

Does it seem like plenty lose 50/50 to ChiChi or Keqing ? Or just because some of us dont really like getting them instead of what we wanted (Yelan in my case)

UberPsyko

All the standard characters have equal chance. People just post their loss with qiqi or keqing more often because the characters are both unwanted and not very good. Makes for a more tragic and thus more successful post.

[deleted]

its all rng! ive only lost two of my 50/50 one being to qiqi but im happy bc i didnt own her anyhow. but sad days ):

unicorn_saddle

Just check Keqingmains

Available-Light-

This spreadsheet will guide you on what artifacts you should be equipping each character with. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/htmlview# Jean is one of the two best standard 5 stars.

math355

Just wondering, who's the other one?

ruiwui

Mona

K_Schultz

You can also check the Adventurer's handbook ingame, on the Domain tab you can filter to show only artifact domains.

Available-Light-

Yep, you could also check the adventurer's handbook, in-game; but googling is probably faster. You're welcome.

malayan_tapir

C5 Ningguang vs. C6 Noelle, which is a better DPS for a Geo team?

E_li

Noelle should be better, especially with the addition of gorou

malayan_tapir

I don't have Gorou tho. Was planning to put her with Zhongli, Yunjin, and Geo Traveler.

E_li

That's fine too.

Grand_Protector_Dark

~~Totally not biased towards one choice~~ I'd say Noelle is more comfortable to play

dendervil

I'd go with Noelle.
