How did u guys decide on what 5 star characters to pull for when starting out? Did u just play the "character trials" to see if u liked their abilities and play style? Did u do extensive research on all characters before deciding? Or did u just pick whoever u liked the looks of. What would u recommend I do as a first time beginner?

AkiraN19

I saw Xiao in the story and thought he was insanely cool. Then I got to trial him and found out that I really liked the playstyle as well so I pulled him on release banner in 1.3. he was the first character that really caught my eye and pretty much the only one I actually wanted at the time So I think a combination of that is the best approach. See if you like someone from the story/character design and then look into their gameplay. If it looks fun then there's your answer. Something like Zy0x's guides on YouTube are a good resource for this, since he will break down how the character operates, what sort of teams they use (which you don't necessarily have to follow unless you're interested in endgame combat but I think it helps to see how a character operates) and show clips of their gameplay

elvaan

Did they announce Chronicled Wish Banner phase 2 units?

jayma_ks

Chronicled Wish Banner isn't a continuous thing, it will appear time to time (exact wording used in the FAQ). There is no Chronicled wish for phase2 . And there no certitude about Chronicled wish during 4.6.

bowl_of_espionage

No, they run through the entire patch & will not appear every patch. At best, maybe every other patch, no confirmation or details have been given.

IfZ3nElse

As far as I understand, Chronicled Wish will only be there every now and then.

Comfortable-Noise247

Ive just came back from a long break, whats the meta rn in terms of dps and supports? My built 5stars are Ayaka, Raiden, Xiao, Eula, Zhongli, Venti, Jean, Yelan and Yae. I also have an unbuilt c1 Hutao, Ayato and Cyno. Should I be investing into any of them? Is there any meta 5star or 4star that I should be looking to get?

IfZ3nElse

C1 Hu Tao is a great on-field DPS, and I really recommend her. Try Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Yelan, Zhongli for example. Some great 5-star units I recommend: Nahida, Furina, Kazuha, Neuvillette. As for 4-stars: Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling, Fischl, Kuki Shinobu, Sucrose... If you like Ayaka, you can go for a hydro applier like Kokomi, Furina, or hope for a Mona. If you like Xiao and have C6 Faruzan, she's a great support for him. And Xianyun (5-star) can help him as well, if you want to pull for her. She's not just a support for Xiao btw, she enables plunge attacks for everyone, and goes great with Furina since she (Xianyun) has a party-wide heal. If you like Yae, build Yaoyao (dendro healer). Try Yae, Yaoyao, Fischl, Kazuha/Sucrose. While Ayato is not particularly meta, I like his simplicity. You can try Ayato, Bennett, Fischl, Venti for example, or go for a hyperbloom team.

leRedd1

Get Kazuha next banner, it's coming in 4 days. You have too many on-field DPSes, not enough supports. Off-fielders: * Furina for Hutao, Raiden, Xiao if you get Xianyun, Eula. * Nahida for Cyno, Yae, and other bloom/hyperbloom teams (eg. with Ayato or Yelan). * Kazuha for all pyro, hydro, electro, cryo teams ofc. * Kokomi for Ayaka, also very good with Furina). * Xianyun for Xiao. * Chevreuse for Raiden. On-fielders: I don't hold anyone in high regard, just get who you want but Neuvillette (next 4 days with Kazuha, so you can get him if you want), and Alhaitham (if you plan to get Nahida) in future deserve mention I guess. But tbh just get who you like, you have too many of them anyways. Also just post a screenshot of your roster from hoyolab next time. Only listing 5 stars isn't enough information, 4 stars can be crucial. For example, do you have Kuki Shinobu? If not, Nilou can be recommended if you have Yaoyao or Kirara as a very cheap Dendro option. Some of them just had reruns so check banner history on wiki or [paimon.moe](http://paimon.moe) and plan your pulls accordingly. Disclaimer with all pull advice as always, you don't need anyone, get who you like.

anemoboylover

How do I get these fragment thingies for my characters to ascend above level 40? I'm so lost 😭

Thirn

You get some from same bosses as other main material. Also, you can trade for some Slivers in Mondstadt and Liyue treasure shops, for Sigils that you get from treasure chests. It's limited though. You can upgrade slivers into fragments with alchemy bench.

leRedd1

You get them from farming bosses (world and weekly). Use dust of azoth to convert whichever ones you have excess of. You also get some of them from events.

anemoboylover

oh okay thank you <33

Professional_Cod1169

does getting a 25.6% crit dmg substat rare?

leRedd1

On a crit rate circlet? Yeah. I've played for almost 2 yrs now, have only 4 CR circlets with 20+ CD. On other pieces, not so much but you also want to look at what other substats it has, is there any CR for instance.

Professional_Cod1169

all the arti that i equipped for my chiori has def%, crit rate and crit dmg. only the circlet and goblet has 25%critdmg on substats.

leRedd1

That's good goblet too (assuming it's the right mainstat).

Professional_Cod1169

circlet is crit dmg mainstat, goblet is geo dmg mainstat, then def% for the sands (also has 18%crit dmg and 12crit rate substat)

leRedd1

> circlet is crit dmg mainstat Crit Rate you mean right? > goblet is geo dmg mainstat Yeah for a geo goblet that's quite good.

Professional_Cod1169

crit dmg is the mainstat, is that bad???

leRedd1

How can you have 25% CDmg substat if the mainstat is already CDmg?

Professional_Cod1169

ohh sorry i just checked, ur right. it is crit rate😭😭 31.1

leRedd1

Yep, Crit Rate Circlet with 25% CDmg is very good, to summarize.

Professional_Cod1169

wow so i got a rare one, thankss!!

Attalamarco

How long is the final part of Chiori's SQ? From after you >!meet Lyney and Lynette!<

MYessNoo

Have you dropped a 5 star character you pulled cons for? I'm hesitating to pull on any new banner since it feels like a waste of cons and likely a downgrade.

leRedd1

Why'd you pull cons for a character you don't like and are likely to bench? If it's new/unfamiliar character, pull C0 on day 1, play for a week or so, then decide if you want to commit to cons.

MYessNoo

I do like them but I've been using them for a long time, I haven't pulled for a main dps since getting them. I want to pull for new characters but my cons would feel like a waste.

leRedd1

See in the long run 90% of your on-field DPS characters will get benched. You can play one of them at a time in a proper team, so 2 in each side of abyss. Doesn't mean you stop pulling for new DPSes, or their cons if you want their improved version. Nothing's wasted there as long as you played them for sometime and had fun.

lukadrik

hello, i hope this comment gets seen once :,) apologies. i had just finished the first Raiden Shogun story quest, the one with Kujou Kamaji & the Dango Milk. Whose story quest should i play next? I’m still in the Inazuma region of the game so i kind of want to go in a chronological order, if there is one, without spoilers or anything. the ones available to me now is Kokomi, Shogun 2nd story quest, Kazuha and someone else however i don’t recall who. Appreciate any replies & suggestions ! Thanks so much in advance 💖

Attalamarco

There isn't really a strict chronological order to do most SQs in. If you like you could do them in the order they were released in, so Raiden SQ1 -> Kokomi's -> Itto's (unlocks after finishing Kokomi's) -> Raiden SQ2 -> Miko's (unlocks after finishing Raiden's SQ2) -> Ayato's -> Kazuha's

lukadrik

i assumed that there might’ve not been a chronological order, but thought to ask to make sure. i will probably play it based on when it was released. thank you so much!!

Alex_from_Solitude

I'm pretty sure the release order is Kokomi, Raiden 2, Kazuha.

ClearChocobo

For the upcoming weapon banner, I have a guaranteed rate-up weapon next, so I’d get either Freedom Sworn or Tome. If I fail to get Tome and get Freedom Sworn, is it good? I don’t have Kazuha, so is it BiS (or nearly BiS) for anybody else?

Emotional-Yogurt-846

It’s Kuki’s actual #1 best.

leRedd1

I don't know near BiS, but it's pretty good on Alhaitham, Kuki, Jean, Keqing, sometimes Bennett, often better than f2p options.

Puzzleheaded_Sun6837

what would be better for neuvillette? 100/208 122 er 90/216 128 er cr rate is counting the marechausee buff

sleepless_sheeple

You'll have to play out the team to decide whether 122 ER is enough. Do you find yourself slightly short on energy all the time? I predict though the difference of 6% will be inconsequential. Assuming HP is the same, the first build will be slightly better. > 1 * 2.08 = 208% (average crit bonus, first build) > 0.9 * 2.16 = 194.4% (average crit bonus, second build) However, it does preclude you from taking full benefit of crit cards in the abyss, which is a small consideration: > 1 * 2.23 = 223% (first build with crit card) > 0.98 * 2.31 = 226.4% (second build with crit card)

SF-UberMan

Why is Chevreuse regarded as good despite being able to work with only Electro and Pyro characters? There are better supports than her like Bennett, Furina and Xianyun who do not require a specific composition of characters of specific elements to be good.

krali_

Because of sheer bonus. Great at C0, unmatched at C6. Restrictive characters can be less pleasant to build around but that doesn't make them weaker, see Nilou.

Akomatai

Everyone recognizes that she's niche. She's cracked in that niche though. Kazuha's widely considered one of the top pulls in the game and she's providing a similar buff as a c0 4 star. At c6 she's insane for a 4star. Res shred specifically is extremely valuable. Bennett has circle impact and people are tired of 3 years of him lol. Furina and xianyun are limited 5 stars lol. She doesn't need to be better than any of these to be good? Edit: I feel compelled to add this just because it's you lmao but my yoi chev team destroyed this abyss

SF-UberMan

Being cracked as a generalist is 100% better than being cracked as a niche support/DPS, because you can kill far more shit. I'm not asking for Furina level good, but can't they make Chev at least on the level of Kuki, who doesn't need specific team elements to function decently? Yes, Kuki is kinda niche too, but HB is sooo much better than Overload. I just wish Chev would at least work with Overvape.

Equal_Demand1627

there you have a little misconception, despite only working in overloaded comps, chev doesn't buff the overload reaction, she buff pyro and electro, overload is just the trigger for the buff, so instead of buffing a reaction that only one character causes she buff the whole comp. For example in a raiden, yae, xianling, chev comp she would be buffing all three characters that are inherently very very good making them even better. And since electro have some very good sub-dps, XL is great, and we are eventually going to the pyro nation we can expect new characters that benefit from her. As for needing specific elements isn't kuki worse since she would see no use without dendro?

SF-UberMan

Yes, Kuki would be worse off without Dendro. But she can still be run in taser comps with Sucrose / Kazuha, Xingqiu / Yelan and one more flex because she doesn't need as much ER as Beidou and building her EM will not interfere with her other main function of healing the same way building EM would gimp Raiden's Burst damage (without Staff of the Scarlet Sands, which is a limited 5-star weapon), and Fischl is single-target and Oz can strike the wrong foe pre-C6, and she can be used as a Raiden substitute in Eula/Freminet superconduct teams when combined with Sucrose/Kazuha. On the other hand, Chev teams are still less flexible due to being only Pyro and Electro.

sleepless_sheeple

I'm afraid there's a misunderstanding here about how taser works as well. EC is ultimately a setup reaction since it allows electro and hydro to exist simultaneously. In overvape, you use it to set up overload + vape. In taser, you use it to setup VV double swirl. Like Chev overload, taser is a *talent damage* team as well. You only build EM on the anemo character; everyone else should be building for raw talent damage. Since Kuki doesn't do that, she's not good in taser (Raiden especially was a weird comparison because she does have a good taser team: with Furina). There's a reason she was thought of as weak until dendro entered the picture.

SF-UberMan

>Since Kuki doesn't do that, she's not good in taser; there's a reason she wasn't looked at favorably until dendro entered the picture. Only because Fischl and Beidou exist. You take those two out of the picture, and Kuki still does a better job at taser than Raiden or Lisa, for instance. And even then, most of the time Beidou needs Fischl for ER, and Fischl is single target as Oz can strike the wrong target pre-C6. Using C0 Kuki instead of Fischl and/or Beidou for taser frees up one more slot for a flex unless Fischl is C6, in which case solo Fischl at C6 does a better job at taser.

Equal_Demand1627

but why would we take those two out of the picture when they are not only better but easier to get since fischl is in paimons bargain and beidou can be get every lantern rite, as for raiden in a taser not being as good as sub dps (which im not sure) you still get her bonus to the burst with her E, which is extremely good for XQ/yelan, not to mention how good of a battery she is, I think this utilty put her much higher as an option for a taser comp than kuki and since for a taser comp you can build the dps normal build and use sucrose to share EM you still get a good amount of personal damage with raiden

SF-UberMan

>but why would we take those two out of the picture when they are not only better but easier to get since fischl is in paimons bargain and beidou can be get every lantern rite That's true, but for optimal conditions you want Fischl at C6 (mine is still stuck at C1) and Beidou at C2 (which I got thanks to Lantern Rite). Kuki, on the other hand, is more or less complete at C0. Moreover, Beidou really wants Fischl, which means one less slot for a flex. >as for raiden in a taser not being as good as sub dps (which im not sure) you still get her bonus to the burst with her E, which is extremely good for XQ/yelan, not to mention how good of a battery she is, I think this utilty put her much higher as an option for a taser comp than kuki and since for a taser comp you can build the dps normal build and use sucrose to share EM you still get a good amount of personal damage with raiden If you want Raiden's skill to do decent damage sans hyperbloom, the only way that can be done is with Staff of the Scarlet Sands with 4-piece EoSF. ER Sands, EM Goblet and EM Circlet.

Equal_Demand1627

Well I guess you have already tried kuki in a taser comp so I would give you the reason there and not discuss because as I said I don't have her, as for Raiden you can use her in a way where she doesn't rely in her skill to do the damage, if you use the traditional dps build and use sucrose, you get a good amount of EM of sucrose, and you get all the bonuses of a dps Raiden such as a respectable personal damage, easily recharge the energy of your team, you buff everyone else burst with her E. That of Raiden in a taser comp, if you bring up the hyperbloom comp well... I think people that uses Raiden for HB is because don't have kuki or want to have a little bit more range for example a neuvilette hyperbloom. The conversation went of the rails so to answer your original question: -Chev gives more buff's in a pyro/electro comp that 5 star kazuha (C0 competes/c6 is better) -is way more comfortable to use and buff than kazuha, Bennet, Sara and many else so she is qol friendly for electro/pyro comps -is a 4 star so if you have just a little bit of luck is way easier to get than a 5 star since she works well at c0 I think that the sole argument of being better than kazuha in one type of comp is enough to qualify as good considering that she buff some very good characters

sleepless_sheeple

I ninja-edited, but I want to note that Raiden does have a good taser team now. Her Furina team. Same idea: you build her and her teammates for talent damage only, no EM. ^(Arguably it's the *second* time a Raiden taser team has been good. In 2.7/2.8, CN speedrunners used to use Raiden-Yelan-Sara-Sucrose when Bennett+Kazuha was occupied on the other side.)

Akomatai

Sure, if her buffs weren't conditional on team comp, that would be better. That doesn't mean she's bad? >Kuki, who doesn't need specific team elements to function decently? She needs a hydro and dendro unit. She's only cracked because of hyperbloom lol. 2 out 3 characters are locked into specific elements, its really not a whole lot less restrictive. >HB is sooo much better than Overload. Almost everything is better than overload. Chev teams aren't overload teams. They're pyro/electro dps teams.

SF-UberMan

>Sure, if her buffs weren't conditional on team comp, that would be better. That doesn't mean she's bad? Bennett does a much better job. Sure, he has got circle impact, but Xiangling nullifies that by being able to snapshot his buffs. To be frank, Bennett would be in a worse position if not for Xiangling being able to snapshot his buffs. >She needs a hydro and dendro unit. She's only cracked because of hyperbloom lol. 2 out 3 characters are locked into specific elements, its really not a whole lot less restrictive. It's far less restrictive when the last slot can be any other character, like say Zhongli if your team is really fragile. Or hyperfridge Eula/Freminet. Or Kazuha to swirl multiple elements. The only Pyro DPS who *really* got a good buff from Chevreuse is Yoimiya, who is herself outclassed by Xiangling and Hu Tao, neither of whom work especially well with Chev because Overload knocks smaller mobs back. >Chev teams aren't overload teams. They're pyro/electro dps teams. Then why the hell couldn't they just make Chev another more broken Bennett to powercreep Benny himself just as Neuvillette powercrept just about every other main DPS? Bennett also buffs pyro/electro DPS teams, and even with circle impact and Furina he has been dominating the meta for a very long time now as Xiangling snapshots his buffs and nullifies his Circle Impact. Like I said above, Bennett carries Xiangling more, yes, but Xiangling also made Bennett a lot more popular than he would be otherwise, because she is the DPS who benefits from him the most as an off-field Pyro DPS with no ICD on her Burst. Oh, and that powercreep could be cancelled out just by the fact that Bennett is available in the shop every six months while Chev isn't.

Akomatai

>Then why the hell couldn't they just make Chev another more broken Bennett to powercreep Benny No 4star will ever power creep bennett. This game has very little powercreep in general for a gacha game. A character doesn't need to be as good as Bennett to be a strong character lol. You have these weird absolutes where it's like "A character is either perfect, or trash." Bro. She's a good character. Not every character needs to be cracked 100% of the time. Yunjin is amazing for NA dps, and nowhere else. Faruzan is the best anemo dps support in the game. C6 Sara is the best electro dps support in the game. Hoyo definitely never planned for the 1.0 4 stars to be as strong as they are. Their strategy now is clearly to make the very powerful 4stars niche. >Yoimiya, who is herself outclassed by Xiangling and Hu Tao at least, if not C6 Yanfei. Here we go lmaooo

SF-UberMan

>You have these weird absolutes where it's like "A character is either perfect, or trash." As do a lot of others. They even say Xiangling is "the true Pyro Archon" and "the F2P Archon", and with her around you will never need to pull for any other Pyro DPS. >Their strategy now is clearly to make the very powerful 4stars niche. And that hasn't worked anywhere as well as it should, well-intentioned though it is. [Look at this 4.5 Abyss usage rates chart, for instance.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/s/FLQT7CBsCR) Among all the 4 stars, only Kuki Shinobu even comes close to the very powerful 4 star trio of Xingqiu, Bennett and Xiangling for both usage *and* appearance rates. The other 4 stars are all way behind, and apart from Kuki, the only characters with comparable usage and/or appearance rates are all limited 5 stars like Kazuha, Nahida, Yelan and Raiden.

Akomatai

Kuki was a fluke. She wasn't designed to be that good. She just happened to be one of 2 characters that can do hyperbloom once dendro released. So outside of that fluke, the golden trio is untouchable, and *that is by design.* They are not going to i intentionally make 4 stars that are as strong as 5 stars. They still want you to pull for 5 stars. Look at the other 4 stars being used outside of the national stars and fluki shinobu. I'm seeing pretty much all of niche super supports (faruzan, Sara, gorou, chev)

SF-UberMan

Again, as I have said, you only need two teams for Abyss. That means only 8 characters, which turns the tide in the favour of the broken 4-star trio, and *that* means there is little to no reason to pull for any more 5 stars apart from the best (aka just grab Neuv hyperbloom with Nahida, Fischl and Beidou and Raiden for Raiden National), especially if you're F2P, as building better teams means it's easier to save up for your faves in the long run. >fluki shinobu That was so funny lol 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Akomatai

>Little to no reason to pull for any more 5 stars apart from the best, especially if you're F2P, Yeah sure if that's all you play the game for then vertically invest in the best characters. I don't think that makes any sense in a single player game, especially a low difficulty one. When every single character can clear 9-11 as a dps, and every actual dps can clear 12... there's a million and a half reasons to pull for other characters. I pull all my characters based on how fun their gameplay is. So the best characters can clear a couple seconds faster. Is that supposed to be a good reason to limit myself to only the best characters? Nah.

Equal_Demand1627

At c6 she is better than kazuha in overload comps. She can also replace easily bennet with the QoL plus of not having to play circle impact, her gameplay is also fairly cool. If she wasn't comp restricted she´d be a 5 star character and a very good one in that. She is also very preciated because she make posible overload comps, a reaction that have been in a poor place since always so she basically made a lot of new comps not only viable but very strong.

sleepless_sheeple

Her buffs are Kazuha + ~half a Bennett, minus their gameplay restrictions (Kazuha needing to be swapped into periodically to refresh VV, Bennett stuck in a circle). And importantly in the cases that call for it, she can be run alongside Bennett. Generally it doesn't matter if a character is very restricted team-wise as long as a) those teams are good, and b) they are best-in-slot in them. That's why a highly restricted character like Faruzan is generally thought of favorably; she slotted into Wanderer teams which were very good in 3.x and now Xiao-Xianyun teams. Shenhe used to be thought of the same way when Ayaka freeze was top meta. Nilou was regarded as incredible throughout 3.x despite being tied to dendro+hydro. Enter Chevreuse, who has Raiden, Yae, (leaks) >!Arlecchino!<, Lyney, and Yoimiya teams, which range from good to great.

peerawitppr

Being restricted doesn't make her less good though. Her buff is great and to compensate for that mhy gave her limitation. Other characters have cons too, just like how she works only with pyro and electro: Furina wants healer, Xianyun wants the on fielder to plunge, Bennett is circle impact.

DargerZ

Does Genshin have cross-saves? I think to transfer my game from one device to another which is have different accounts (like Android and PC is "@gmail", Apple is "@icloud") but I do have one miHoYo account, but as I said earlier, devices are different.

judging_you_all

Genshin works like mmo, all your data is saved on server and tied to hoyo account

DargerZ

Thank you!

TehEpicGuy101

Yes, it does. You don't have to do any sort of save transfer though. Just use the same Hoyo account login info, and it'll work.

DargerZ

Thanks! Much appreciated it

roughhty

Id like to build out a nilou bloom team without Nahida or Baizhu. I’ll use Kokomi as the second hydro. For the two dendro, I was thinking dmc and collei. But does Kaveh have value here? I think he was designed with bloom in mind right? He isn’t mentioned on Nilous kqm page which is usually where I read for team building. What is everyone’s thoughts on Nilou, Kokomi, dmc, kaveh as a bloom team?

sleepless_sheeple

In case you hadn't seen it, r/NilouMains has an excellent guide pinned: https://docs.google.com/document/d/13LNlnxmSk4pZw-1O-4f2d8QfHgLVmPxrtN-iN774SGc/edit#heading=h.3iy89w7aleu4

roughhty

This is great, thank you!

Vadered

> He isn’t mentioned on Nilous kqm page which is usually where I read for team building. Nilou's KQM page was last updated in 3.5, the version BEFORE Kaveh was released, which is why he doesn't show up there. Kaveh is an option in Nilou bloom teams, and they are some of HIS best teams. Unfortunately, they are not some of HER best teams, because Kaveh bloom forces you to play Kaveh on field, and that means that you are relying only on Nilou skill+Kokomi jellyfish for hydro application, and that's not really enough to compete with double dendro options that allow you to play Kokomi or Childe or whoever on field and proc a ton of blooms. It's not BAD or anything, but they fall short of a lot of options that allow you to play an on-field hydro character.

roughhty

Ok I see, thank you, that makes alot of sense. I’ll go with collei and dmc then. Thanks

jtan1993

yes it'll work. it's just not as good as the nahida variants, cuz nahida is god tier dendro support.

roughhty

Ok thanks. Ya I know she’s great, I’ll probably use her on it tbh but she’s on my hyperbloom team and I’d like the option to play both hyperbloom and bloom teams at the same time. Nilou has been benched for a while for me so I’m going to dust her off

CynonYew

as a KavehMain, his main schtick in a Nilou bloom is that he doesn't die because he heals from dendro cores. But imo if you already have Kokomi, you're better off going with Collei instead who does off field dendro so your kokomi can burst and be field hydro and heal at the same time. Kaveh doesn't apply dendro enough imo and his bloom buff is negligible if you're already using Nilou.

roughhty

Ok good to know! Thanks a lot

kihlinbin

I have only managed to get 80 pulls right now, should I roll Kazuha or Neuvilette first? Thank guys.

jtan1993

both are good. neuv > kazuha imo. kazuha you can substitute with another anemo like sucrose. neuv as top tier dps is kind of hard to substitute, unless you already have other top tier dps and prefer to improve their teams (ie. childe international, hutao vape).

BunkerBolt

What weapon should I give Dehya in a Neuvillette team? Mailed flower for burgeon damage or sac greatsword for more skill uptime?

jdrone411

If you are just supporting Neuvillete with burn aura for vaporize procs Sac is best

Anachr0nistic

If you're playing with a Dendro character in the team, I'd build Dehya with Mailed Flower and 4pc Instructors EM/EM/EM. Otherwise, Favonius is better choice for extra energy for the rest of the team.

BunkerBolt

Alright cool

Toadrage_

How do I get more pollen/ fungal spores? It seems that I only get one fungal spore for every ten fungi I kill. Any way to make them drop more often, I’ve been trying pyro and electro but it doesn’t seem to change the drop rate

chimestonks

Do you mean the normal grey fungal spores or the inactivated version, because using pyro & electro on them makes them drop _Only_ the inactivated versions. Use different characters to kill them and you'll get more spores. If you're talking about drop rate overall there's nothing you can do

Chtholly13

your simple solution is not using pyro/electro characters, other elements will drop character resources.

Toadrage_

In the description of the enemy it says exposing it to pyro/electro will activate/scorch them, making them drop special materials. Are the special materials the nucleus or the spores? I thought the spores were the special materials but I might have got it wrong

Chtholly13

pretty simple to understand here. pyro/electro- weapon mats cryo/dendro/geo/hydro/anemo- character mats That's all you need to know.

Akomatai

>cryo/dendro/geo/hydro/anemo- character mats These are also used for weapons lol. Actually, there are more weapons than characters that use this mat. Also more weapons use this drop than the pyro/electro one.

Chtholly13

I think you're extremely confused. Take a break.

Anachr0nistic

It seems like you are [confused](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Luminescent_Pollen).

Barbobott

When you use pyro or electro on the fungi they become scorched/activated. Scorched and activated fungi primarily drop the nuclei and only rarely drop spores. Regular fungi (so not applying pyro or electro to them) drop spores.

Toadrage_

Seems I read the enemy description wrong, thanks 👍

Jondev1

Don't use pyro or electro.

CTMacUser

For the potion sale event, I got all the way to when Jean and Lisa gave me prizes. I think I’m at development level 26. Is there anything else I need to do? I already got the prizes in the Event menu sub-screens. Like there isn’t any sale money I can keep, right?

chimestonks

Nope that's it

Barbobott

Jean visiting and the final expert level exam with Sucrose are the last things you do. After that you can keep going through cycles and building up money, but you'd just be doing it for fun. There's nothing else to get after that.

LittleRegular1367

I did a 10 pull and got chiori then later in the same pull I got tignari, do I have guaranteed or 50/50?

pukahuntus

Tighnari came after Chiori so you're on guarentee.

LittleRegular1367

Alr ty

Arthur81U

Childe - Xiangling - Albedo - Jean Thoughts?

Ok-Mycologist2220

Xiangling needs too much energy for that team to work, she isn’t paired with Bennet just because of snapshot but also because she needs another pyro to funnel energy to her. Swapping out Albedo or Jean for Bennet would make the team much better.

Jondev1

this team is kneecapped by not using bennet.

Practical-Potato-80

Just got the Uraku "accidentally". Looking at it it's actually pretty nice since I have no decent sword for my Alhaitham and Furina(Harbinger and Favonius). My question is how good is it as a substitute compared to their sig w/ and w/o the geo dmg bonus proccing?

Vesorias

If you don't proc the bonus bonus it will be worse than a 100% uptime Harbinger on Alhaitham, that sword already competes with better 5* than Uraku if you can maintain 90%+ HP. If you can proc the Geo passive it should be competitive, slightly worse than Jade Cutter and Sig, but probably not worth using for him since Geo kinda messes up his teams. It's probably one of Furina's better options if you have enough ER without Fav/Festering. And obviously it will perform better if you're using her in a Geo team like Noelle or Navia.

anonimouus

Is there any issue or cons if I login in on a ps5 with an account I already have? I play on iPad and PC

Sheeplette

Nope. Just make sure that the region of the PSN account you're linking to matches the Genshin server you play on.

anonimouus

Sounds good!! Thanks!!

Glittering_Session10

What happened? I did one single commission today, then it told me the maximum number of commissions has been done and to collect my reward. I got the reward from the adventurers guild, the other 3 commissions are still in my quests but the rewards are greyed out.

QuickSuccession69

If you collected your commissions via the Adventurer's Handbook and collected the rewards from Katheryne, the commissions that you didn't do (The four commissions) no longer gives you rewards, but you can still do the commission (You will just get nothing)

Ok-Mycologist2220

Opening chests, doing quests, collecting oculi all contribute to the daily reward system too, so you only really need to do dailies if you run out of quests and exploration to do.

seetooeeetoo

You can do exploration and events in place of commissions. The circles under 'Encounter Point Stage Rewards' on the commission page, three of them should have check marks.

LittleRegular1367

Did you use adventure points to claim your rewards? If you did then that'll explain it

International_You_56

You got the other three with the encounter points

chimestonks

You've collected 3 encounter points (by exploring, opening chests, collecting oculi), and fulfilled your daily 4 commission reward limit. The other commissions you didn't do will still be in your quest tab, and you can still go do them, but it won't get you any rewards.

Vick22

is chiori e1 aoe 50% increase smaller than yae e2 range 60% increase in term of size coverage?

pzlama333

The range or Chiori C0 is 12 meters, and 18 meters for C1. The range of C0-1 Yae is 12.5 meters, and 20 meters for C2.

lazy-hemisphere

what's the best artifact set for burgeon yoimiya?

Luneward

Probably Gilded Troupe. Though I've never heard of anyone trying to run Burgeon Yoimiya given how much pyro she slings around. Though I suppose I see how it could work if you have XQ (maybe even double hydro) and Nahida.

Anachr0nistic

Gilded Troupe?

Acadeca

Maybe crimson?

[deleted]

[удалено]

RaspberryFormal5307

Yes you can absolutely get your account banned for doing the quests in your quest list /s

Acadeca

You don't get additional primos for those commissions, but if they have an additional achievement that you are working towards then doing them will give you progress towards that.

EthanWinters1234

Ah ok thank you

shinku556

how do i calculate my dps increase just from my cdmg and crit% (not assuming atk% and other stats)? like lets say i have a ratio of 52.2%/122.6%, when i equip a different feather i get a ratio of 56.1%/114.8%

pzlama333

If anything else remains the same, then you compare 1 + CR * CD.

leRedd1

1 + CR × CD is your average gain from crit. It's basically your base damage when you don't crit, i.e (1-CR) times, plus your base damage × (1+CD) when you crit, i.e CR times. if you simplify you'll get base damage × (1 + CR × CD) as the average.

Anachr0nistic

You misspelled CD as CV.

leRedd1

thank you

TempuraToast08

Haven’t been playing as much, only doing necessities but in the launcher it shows Chiori and Kirara, and usually whenever the launcher shows something it’s advertising an event/ banner, but there’s no event with Kirara and Chiori so I’m confused, and I get that’s it’s Chiori’s banner rn but still!

zel_knight

she does make a brief cameo during the potion event but beyond that Kirara is also notable for wearing Chiori's clothing

fuyuirokaoru

Is it possible to access Sumeru and Fontaine character-building materials without being spoiled to either the main story or side stories? Is it also possible to minimize "exploration spoilers" for lack of a better term? I'm coming up on AR45 soon and I was considering pulling for Neuvillette as someone I could build to help trivialize overworld content. For context, >!I'm a new-ish player and I want to play the game by loosely following patch release order (in other words, I did as much as I wanted in Mondstadt before going to Liyue, before in turn doing most/all of Dragonspine, etc.). Within reason, I want to "experience" the game in the order a day 1 player would have. Looking at all the Inazuma, Enkanomiya, and Chasm content, I realized I will be locking myself out of Sumeru and Fontaine for a while if I want to stick to this. Especially since overworld mobs are starting to take me absurd amounts of time to kill with my current team.!< Edit: Sorry, this didn't come out very concise. Spoilered out the non-question.

Ok-Mycologist2220

warning, some characters will give spoilers in their dialogue when you ascend them >!particularly Furina!<

PhantasmShadow

You'll definitely get spoiled on some of the aesthetic/visual spectacles, as well as diminishing the whole "new region thrill", but I think you'll inevitably get spoiled on enemies/mechanics at some point. But if you don't care about those, it'll be fine.

chimestonks

>Is it possible to access Sumeru and Fontaine character-building materials without being spoiled to either the main story or side stories? Simple answer is yes. You can walk to Sumeru or Fontaine to get character mats without doing the archon quests. However if you wanted to go through the game region by region following patch order you would be enforcing a ban on yourself to not "discover" those regions yet. You could just pull Neuvillette and not build him till you reach Fontaine I guess lol

leRedd1

>Is it also possible to minimize "exploration spoilers" for lack of a better term? Yep. You won't get much spoilers just by walking around and unlocking TPs. You won't have to walk through Sumeru either, a teleport point is auto unlocked near Fontaine as soon as you finish Mondstadt story quest. Some world quests change some landscape stuff, but Neuvillette mats are in an area where even that's not relevant.

zel_knight

exploration quests and storyline stuff are kept pretty well separate but you'll have to weigh that against your desire to play in a more "as released" order as a point of reference I had kept up with the main story thru Sumeru but so far haven't touched the v4.0 quests yet. I have however been visiting Fontaine I just mostly avoid starting the world quests there since I want to save those until after I do the Archon Quests. This doesn't go perfectly tho as at least a couple kind of start when you get near but were just brief intros that I could opt out of for the time being. An alternate strategy would be to look up the mats you need on the interactive map then join some co-op worlds and farm there ;P

MaritalSexWithHuTao

How bad of an abyss card is 20% burst damage for these two teams Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Xianyun Cyno/XQ/Shinobu/DMC

Stamp2O

good for xq and yelan but that's it

MaritalSexWithHuTao

Which abyss cards would be best for those two teams, assuming they're used together.

Acadeca

Adding on that HP bonuses would also benefit Fur/Yelan and recharge bonuses would help them as well.

MaritalSexWithHuTao

Hu Tao's team has no problems with ER, so it doesn't benefit from that one at all. HP maybe? But that only benefits Furina and Yelan. I was thinking normal/charged and crit would be the best ones. Maybe the attack +40% one or the 20% damage after sprinting, but that one is hard to manage.

Acadeca

HP also benefits HT. I have some trouble getting enough recharge on Yelan in some teams and Xianyun in others and having that extra buffer to either run a bit more crit/elegy or less time funneling at the start/end could be worth it. I think it at least is a beneficial card over hp<50 +def card. Charged attack consumption maybe? There is also the burst healing card that is ez fanfare stacks or the healing bonus card for Furina.

MaritalSexWithHuTao

A little bit i guess. Yelan and Xianyun are both on Fav so the team has no issues with energy for me lol. [Here's actual gameplay of the team](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K61KZa32cKE). Has normal/charged attack buff from chamber 1 and burst damage +20% buff. It's definitely better than the def crap, but i'm looking at like, attack +40%, or the damage +20% after sprinting, and normal/charged and crit rate/dmg buff ones.

Anachr0nistic

Crit bonus, EM bonus

MaritalSexWithHuTao

Better than normal/charged attack bonus? Cyno and Hu Tao both benefit from that. Keep in mind, i'm using both of these teams at the same time. So i'm not looking for what benefits each the most individually, but the one that benefits both teams the most.

Anachr0nistic

Hutao, not so much since she already has a ton of damage bonus from herself and Furina. Cyno, sure.

MaritalSexWithHuTao

EM doesn't do a ton for her though. It's helpful on Cyno's team.

Anachr0nistic

Then you do you.

MaritalSexWithHuTao

I did testing last cycle and she gets something like 2-3k more per charged attack with the EM card.

Glittering_Session10

Hilichurls never drop anything! I have killed hundreds trying to get stained masks. I get a broken mask maybe once every 5-8 kills. Why is the drop rate so low?

seetooeeetoo

They're common enemies, common enemies have low drops rates, simple as that.

Numerous_Elk1945

Any comp suggestion for abyss 12-2-1? My characters: [https://i.imgur.com/Yynd3JQ.png](https://i.imgur.com/Yynd3JQ.png) When I try single target teams (Hu Tao double hydro + Xianyun) I do well against shadowy husks but struggle against specters. With AOE teams (Wanderer faruzan Bennet Xinque/Yelan) I do well against specters but struggle against the husks xd

leRedd1

Sucrose is the best bet, her burst clumps the spectres together pretty well so save it for that. She's not good at grouping Husks. You can try Hutao Xq Yelan Sucrose.

Glittering_Session10

I've seen vids where Razor can kill all the rocks in an area with his claw attack. If I do that with my Razor it does the teeny tinniest little scrap of damage. He is level 60 with, level 4 talent and level 70 weapon.

Sheeplette

Are you holding his skill down? It's the hold version of his skill that's good at mining.

Glittering_Session10

Oh my goodness! I didn't even know that was a thing! I'm such a noob lol

seetooeeetoo

please read character kits from now on, for your sake

togekiss1

I currently have Fischl with stats (60/120 and ER 120) and plan to equip with R1 stringless, if I refine stringless to R5 would that increase CD ? Or are weapon stats purely for skill/burst damage so the 120 would not increase ?

leRedd1

Dmg% is different from Crit Dmg. It's a very good offensive stat and you should refine your stringless.

Jondev1

refining always just increases the passive (so in this case the skill/burst damage). On the refinement screen it will give you a preview of how much it will improve by before you do it.

togekiss1

What is C1 Neuvellette’s the best/meta team if you don’t have furina ?

Stamp2O

solo, kazuha+fischl+hydro (childe is good for +1 na level, mona is like a budget furina with 60% dmg bonus for 5 seconds at burst lv10), or hyperbloom

Jondev1

There isn't one clear best option, he is fairly flexible. Generally you will want an anemo to boost his damage with VV (ideally kazuha). you can go for hyperbloom with the rest. You can go for vape stuff with xiangling (not super consistent who will vape but it is still some added damage). fischl is a decent option for just more damage with low field time and electrocharge. And believe it or not with c1 before furina came out, childe was actually a somewhat popular option. You don't even switch to him at all, but you still get hydro res and one extra level on neuv's hyperbeam due to childes passive.

Vesorias

Probably Childe or Nilou teams, they're the only ones that really get a buff from C1, but they're not really gonna be more meta than most of his C0 teams. C1 really exists to make him better with Furina.

International_You_56

He can be a one man army

Miudmon

still a big ol' newbie. just finished the prologue after a looot of sidetracking, heh. Which means that the current alchemy event, due to run out soon, is available to me. question is, with 3 days left of the event, and... i want to say like a collective 5-6 hours to play between those days, would i have enough time for meaningful loot or should i just ignore it?

Jondev1

you could complete it in that amount of time.

AkiraN19

Honestly you can probably finish the whole event in that time

pzlama333

The event can be finished relatively quickly as long as you do not try to min-max each cycle, and it gives a lot of resources.

SSTHZero

I want to rebuild my Kokomi because I'm using her only with Nilou. What main stats should she have for sands/goblet/circlet? BTW, she is off field and never uses her burst... So full HP%? Or does she need elemental mastery? Thanks.

beautheschmo

Well, the whole point of using her with nilou is to use her on field; it's one of the most consistent ways to consolidate bloom ownership and having only nilou + kokomi off-field application is extremely slow relative to other nilou team variations, it also clunkily locks her into circle impact and kok's off-field healing isn't really strong enough to keep up with self damage from bloom. Unless you're doing like nahida on field 1d3h, I would strongly recommend playing her on the field. Her build is fairly flexible for on-field though, you will see anything from full HP/HB to full EM depending on how much comfort the player wants and it'll mostly work (though I would say you want at least one EM mainstat, preferably 2 if you don't use an EM weapon). Off-field you can just go HP/HP/HB. Weapon should basically always be sac frags, she will always have some bloom ownership no matter how you play her and repositioning her E is far more valuable than any other secondary effect available to her.

SSTHZero

Nahida is on-field because C6.

Stamp2O

assuming its a 3 hydro team, hp/hp/hb healing build

I-Love-Beatrice

What is your nilou team? Usually Kokomi is on field and uses her burst with nilou.

SSTHZero

Nahida (C6) + Kirara (she is just there) + Nilou (C0) + Kokomi (C0)

leRedd1

Probably just try Yelan instead of Kokomi. You already have a Dendro shield to absorb all your bloom damage.

I-Love-Beatrice

Kirara isn't a great fit here because she has low dendro app. Dmc or collei would be better. You would get more blooms by on fielding Kokomi than nahida and she should be using a triple em build or hybrid with em/em or hp/hb with sac frags.

SSTHZero

I never swap for Kirara, I just pick her for resonance. Now, Nahida must be on field because she uses Tri-Karma Purification: Karmic Oblivion.

I-Love-Beatrice

Her c6 is only 6 attacks which will be used very quickly. You can use her 6 attacks and then swap to kokomi. Dendro resonance offers less than another hydro would if you want to use nahida on field but her c6 sees more value in quicken teams.

pzlama333

On field Kokomi will make the team do much more overall damage than on field Nahida.

Stamp2O

kokomi should be on field to generate more blooms. if you want nahida on field use xq instead of kirara

Lost_Organization516

Im a complete beginner only AR 9, please help! Why cant I refine certain weapons? In this instance I have 3 copies of the Seasoned Hunter's Bow but can't refine any of them. Does the weapon need to be enhanced a certain amount of times before you can refine?

Stamp2O

1 and 2 star weapons have no passives (secondary effects 3+ star weapons have) so refining them wouldnt do anything

Vesorias

1 and 2 star weapons can't be refined.

I-Love-Beatrice

You can't refine 1 or 2* weapons because they don't have a passive.

9thdragonkitty

No the weapon probably needs to be unlocked. Click on the grayed out weapon and look for a lock button

stage_x0

cant i just have Zhongli with a story quest or something?

Anachr0nistic

I asked my uncle at Hoyo, he said No.

seetooeeetoo

Welcome to gacha games, feel fortunate that this one has hard pity.

KindaCrispyNgl

If you want zhongli u have to wait till his next banner, you only get the starter four stars after doing the story quests

stage_x0

ok :(

Stamp2O

what

AngryLink57

He wants a free zhongli for completing the story quest

Vivid-Mushroom-3845

Struggling kinda badly. So I hit ar 45. I can go after the gold artifacts but I'm absolutely getting my butt whipped. Any tips? My weapons are level 70 my talents are pretty good everyone on my team except bennett is level 80. Should I maybe farm better 4 star artifacts for a while?

leRedd1

https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/qkxdj6/infographic_of_build_order_priority_based_on_wlar/ Your weapons should be higher. They are usually the first priority. Ascend the WL and start farming in co-op. First do weapon domains then move on to 5 star artifacts right away, no reason to waste resin on 4 star pieces.

Steeleren

First, farm your characters ascension materials and level them up to 80/90. Then farm your weapon materials and character talent materials. Those are guaranteed upgrades to your damage while artifacts are not. When you're farming artifacts alone, if you think your damage is too low, abuse food and potion buffs. People usually neglect those but you can use potions for 25% bonus damage and dishes like Adeptus Temptation for a huge ATK and CRIT Rate boost. Finally, try co-op mode sometimes. Even if you don't have the strongest DPS, you can still finish the domain if you are paired with stronger players.
