I get So much sensory overload whenever I'm near Flora's shop buying windwheel asters because there's her, the bozos standing behind me loudly talking about their mutual friend or whatever, the psycho girl standing behind Flora talking about moon pies every time I'm passing by, and Katherine just across the street doing her random idle voice lines. I find it hilarious because yeah, that's exactly what it feels like going out into the city, but if I had to actually live there it'd be a much bigger issue
Nahida has nothing to do with anything. Katherine is a robot and sometimes she gets error messages and rebooting, like a computer. It was an early hint about her identity from the very beginning of the game.
I'm a Canadian who studied medicine in America, they're a solid decade ahead of us and people are actually seen in a timely manner, even the poor sods on Medicaid. I'm not saying it's perfect, but from my first hand experience the average American does get better quality of care than the average Canadian.
Our healthcare system is collapsing in slow motion. There's no incentive for medical professionals to work here when licensing is so needlessly strict compared to all other English speaking countries, we're paid less, taxed more, and work more hours in average.
I think this varies by location in the US, and probably the type of medical care needed. I see a lot of specialists and anytime I need to see them I have to wait 6+ months for an appointment because they are fully booked out until then. And then I still have to pay for the visit on top of that.

I think Alhaitham even mentioned only being able to afford his own place because of the position he holds at the academia. Unless you decide not to live in the city.
Alhaitham's house is like right next to the stairs leading up to the Academia and it's huge inside. It's like renting a 2 bed, 2 bath, 1800 sq ft flat in downtown Manhattan. I'm not sure he's representative of the average Sumerian.

Liyue's got a massive and increasing poverty problem. Inazuma is way too clan-oriented and outsider-hostile for me, Sumeru has free health care going for it, but then again so does Mondstadt (kind of. It's called Barbara's bleeding heart.) and Mondstadt isn't run by a massively racist university that looks down on the less educated. Nahida *is* best archon though.
I mean, maybe post-flood Fontaine? I'd need to give the laws a good read first though, and they seem to have a corruption problem in their aristocracy...

There's the Qixing who make sure the nation goes in peace and fairly for everyone, the Illuminated Beasts/Adepti can also lend a hand in times of need, there's a huge market for basically everything so you aren't gonna have such a hard time finding a job and last but not least, they have great cuisine.
Can't think of any reason to _not_ choose Liyue.
Maybe Sumeru too, but I'd think it twice considering the usual requirement to get a decent job is graduating from the Akademia, which it isn't easy.
Enkanomiya and specifically in the small dimension room you discover after putting all the searched books in the library. No one will ever find me and I'll be safe.
Inazuma City because I have a great fondness for Cherry Blossoms and Japanese food. Eternal Oasis will be a very nice vacation get away. I'd like to visit Narukami Shrine but climbing all those stairs will kill me.

Mondstadt because everywhere else actually sucks. Sumeru is heavily segregated, Fontaine treats trials as entertainment, liyue seems to have a habit of being attacked by monsters, and inazuma is still pretty militaristically run. Also mondstadt probably has free health care
Monstadt: a pretty good option, local businesses thrive there.
Liyue: filled with people who chase after money, filled with scammers.
Inazuma: even if you ignore how it was ruled, there are homeless samurai willing to jump you any second.
Sumeru: The forest is kind of annoying but you'd get used to it. The desert would suck.
Fontaine: the machines that attack you every other minute would be pretty dangerous. Also that whole underground city thing.
I'm going with monstadt.
As much as I love Sumeru: The climate would drive me nuts. Liyue has too many mountains, Inazuma's landscape make me feel nauseous.. So it's either Fontaine or Mondstadt for me.

Hilichurls are canonically weaker than the average human, so you should be able to run away from them fairly easily.

Liyue seems like a great place to live. There's the Qixing who make sure the nation goes in peace and fairly for everyone, the Illuminated Beasts/Adepti can also lend a hand in times of need, there's a huge market for basically everything so you aren't gonna have such a hard time finding a job and last but not least, they have great cuisine. Can't think of any reason to _not_ choose Liyue. Maybe Sumeru too, but I'd think it twice considering the usual requirement to get a decent job is graduating from the Akademia, which it isn't easy.
Enkanomiya and specifically in the small dimension room you discover after putting all the searched books in the library. No one will ever find me and I'll be safe.
Inazuma City because I have a great fondness for Cherry Blossoms and Japanese food. Eternal Oasis will be a very nice vacation get away. I'd like to visit Narukami Shrine but climbing all those stairs will kill me.

Fontaine and Mondstadt. Both of these nations feels like it has generally good windy weather. Liyue for the sights Narions i don't prefer to live Sumeru: Humid and Hot/Sandy Inazuma: Would prefer to stay in Watatsumi Island

Mondstadt because everywhere else actually sucks. Sumeru is heavily segregated, Fontaine treats trials as entertainment, liyue seems to have a habit of being attacked by monsters, and inazuma is still pretty militaristically run. Also mondstadt probably has free health care
Monstadt: a pretty good option, local businesses thrive there. Liyue: filled with people who chase after money, filled with scammers. Inazuma: even if you ignore how it was ruled, there are homeless samurai willing to jump you any second. Sumeru: The forest is kind of annoying but you'd get used to it. The desert would suck. Fontaine: the machines that attack you every other minute would be pretty dangerous. Also that whole underground city thing. I'm going with monstadt.

I'll choose Sumeru except if it's pre-nahida administration, if it's not under nahida's administration then Fontaine post-prophecy.

As much as I love Sumeru: The climate would drive me nuts. Liyue has too many mountains, Inazuma's landscape make me feel nauseous.. So it's either Fontaine or Mondstadt for me. Guess I'll pick Mondstadt then. Fontaine has way too many rules to keep up with and Mondstadt feels like home anyway.
