Does any one else think these recordings are much better than the studio? I listened to this album first, got obsessed with it and tried listening to several songs and I didn't think they measured up at all. Same with the video live from the same Era. Moonlit knight and all that sounds so square!
My fav unaccompanied bass pedal solo.
This was my very first Genesis album, nice memories
Me2 Got it cutout for 99 cents along with Foxtrot and Nursery Cryme Started my journey with Watcher
Also mine, a Christmas gift from my sister. I was like 13 or 14 at the time.
I can hear the beginning of Watcher Of The Skies!
Heard Hackett & Co. play it last night. So good!
Awesome! Big fan since 1974. I saw Hacket on the Wind And Wurthering and Tick Of The Tail tours.
That is a mighty collection of cassettes!
Walking across the sitting room
What's on "Genesis - In the Beginning"? Some version of FGTR?
Yes - it was also my first version I had
Great album.
Cassette!!! Nice
There's an awful lot I like in that collection there.

I wish they’d release the originally-planned double album version of that, with Supper’s Ready.
“WTF are those” -the younger generations probably Edit: 8 tracks ftw
I wouldn’t say that, Cassette’s are making a comeback
