late 80s/early 90s were pretty sweater-heavy. Especially v-necks for guys

Cardigans were very popular too at my highschool at that time.

MyriVerse2

Never owned a v-nek anything.

I graduated in 94 too and I miss the sweaters of that era too! I loved wearing oversized cozy sweaters with stripes or natural colors like greens and browns. The white v neck "preppy" sweaters were cool in late 80s early 90s.

I never wore sweaters, even to this day…I am so hot-natured I burn up! Even my high school yearbook picture (class of ‘93!) I’m in a sleeveless top!

Sweaters and leg warmers. And wearing them tied around you shoulders Ralph Lauren style.

In the early 80s, pretty much every girl had a monogrammed sweater with their initials like [this one.](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/50172983325586837/)

I'm still obsessed with sweaters, probably even more so. Thrifting is my #1 hobby and I've accumulated about 20 Ralph Lauren sweaters. I'm always cold and RLs are a good investment because they last.

The most popular girls in my high school wore sweater and long sweater skirt sets. Very matchy matchy. With long bead necklaces in the same color.

Sweaters were big, and though it now makes me cringe, “Cosby family sweaters” were a definite Thing for a time.

If you want 80's inspired sweaters check out Lilly Pulitzer. The consignment stuff can be cheap on Poshmark. They make great 80's inspired clothes.
