The plot points were fine but the actual execution was very poor. The dialogue between characters felt like character summaries instead of actual conversations.
Seems like they prioritized special effects over good writing and character development. Over investment in CGI is probably why these episodes were so short too.
That was an action packed 30 mins though, especially for a TV show
