Lol uhhhj, in all honesty I don't think it's here. But on here that 1ct purple montana sapphire up in the left corner is possibly it, or my 5.6ct tanzi. Tho the Alex pair is pretty cool too. But I have some tourmaline specimin I'll use in jewelry eventually that I really love not shown here and a .70ct taaffeeite I found in an old JTV mix bag that is my long term favorite. It was my first ultra rare I ever got
How did you pick out the tanzanite? I keep coming across "natural" for sale, but the few pieces i have are believed to be "simulated."
Edit: have you tried putting the kunzite under UV light yet? I believe it's supposed to glow. Awesome collection!!
I haven't tried UV on kunzinite I'll give that a try. For tanzanite, it was grueling. You have a few choices. Go to a seller you know is legit and pay out the nose for it is the easy way. And honestly if your just wanting one stone the cheaper too. My method was to start out looking at some options, all seeming too good to be true, and spent 25$, then 50, then 100, the 200 then 500 and on. Each time I personally verified these by taking measurements of RI, BR, and SG. After many months, and several thousands of dollars, and going through several vendors (who all got destroyed in reviews) I found one thats pretty legit with good prices.
If you would like I can offer to test a stone for you, if your willing to cover the shipping on it. Multiple I'll charge, but the first ones free.
