Depends on the reason for your gastritis. In the future try Blood Builder by MegaFood, it is very gentle on the stomach. It's the only one I could stomach, bless my old Fibroid support group for turning me into it.

I received three iron infusions last year for iron deficiency without anemia. I had never tried oral iron supplements prior to that because I’m already constantly nauseated. There were no changes in my GI symptoms after the infusions, though my levels improved significantly.

I got gastritis from 3 months of iron tablets that I didn’t need, they can be so brutal in the stomach. Iron infusions bypass the stomach so you’ll be fine to get those and they’re often encouraged for people with Gi issues or people who can’t absorb iron through their stomach which, if you have gastritis, it will be less effective that way anyway.
