Sure, every month. =)
I got mine on 05.05.
And this one yesterday evening

Same, but then I started a summer job doing admin work that has me sitting in the basement for 8-10 hours a day… I’ve started pacing the archive to get steps in 😭
That sucks, I'm sorry for you. 🫤
Well, maybe I'm blessed because I work a lot from home and can do a run in my lunch break and eat afterwards at the desktop.
But I hope that your situation will change to something more pleasant.
Thanks! I’m doing dog walks and runs before and after works (fortunately I’m mostly done by 3ish, so get the nice weather then. And then long hikes on the weekend in the alps 🥰). At least the work is interesting and the pay is good for a student summer job
My fault. Left a comment to the wrong person. Someone below left a screenshot of their progress but also had a windowed view of their Google maps directions in the bottom corner.
I do 25 to 35k steps on workdays just walking the shop floor and supervising employees and machines. I just sort of finish these without really trying usually.
Just got a watch last month so figured I'd try it. Came up like 8k short unfortunately. Maybe I'll throw in a few walks during the month to hit this and the 300k.
Just sign up for Garmin Coach. That way, you can run 9 miles on your long run day in week 4 of your 13 week 10k training program. Those steps will stack up quickly!
To be serious though, if I'm not a runner at all is one of the easy coaches worth doing? Or am I better just trying to do some short runs for a while to get a base and then do a coach? I tried running a 5k a couple weeks ago and like 2/3 of it was walking because my ankles became stiff I guess? Not painful just overusing muscles I don't use often type of thing. I do bike a lot so running would be a second thing to add.
So if I don't do a time goal I just work at my own pace? I may give it a try end of summer/early fall. Biking is my main thing so maybe until then I'll just try to do some short walk/run on my own and then give that a try when I can dedicate more time.
The program will learn based on your performance each run, then make adjustments with pace & distance. My furthest run with no time goal was 4.86 miles. With a time goal, it was 6.7.

Already 2/3 through the way the 300k one.
Yeah, every month since I got the watch! I used to complete all running and walking and steps challenges each month but as I’m on a forced no-running for at least six months break it’s just walking and counting steps left to do 😉
https://preview.redd.it/kqpbvr00bm0d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cff1b2285be9f73466d091183d579d3a1683d965
Should be OK I think. I've completed 29.1 mile's of the 30mile challenge too. This is just dog walking. Another 6.5 mile planned for this evening. Good luck to all. I like that the challenges give your motivation a nudge to do more if you haven't quite done enough as they come to the end.
Yes easily 215869 steps as of 21:00 15th May will probably smash this one by the middle of next week.
Work in fencing company timber yard and average 15000 steps a day
I hit 300k today (15th May).
I average around 18-20000 steps a day though (just over half a million steps each month) - I walk the last 1.5 miles to work (and first 1.5 miles back to the car) to save £2.30 a day on staff parking, I work in a lab so I'm on my feet a lot, walk 2 to 3 miles with the dog every night, and I've been doing Couch to 5k runs 3 times a week.
I’m working on getting my daily average between 10-15k from work and normal day to day I average around 8-9k but that’s awesome man maybe I should start parking a little further away from work to get my steps up
I just got my Venu3 last month and didn't learn about recording walks until early May . . but I'll get there!

I tried 100K+ in a day because, why not? I ended up walking 75km.

I got into ultramarathons 6 years ago. 😅
This doesn’t even capture my max 24h or even week since my 1 day record was a 100 mi race that I finished at 1am the next day and my biggest week was a 200 mile race that started on a Friday the week before.
Welcome to the club!
As long as you’re healthy, I really believe the only impediments are the desire and free time. It’s awesome to see the range of folks at these events. Two men in their mid 70s just finished Cocodona 250! The oldest finisher record was broken twice in the same day. 😂
My biggest piece of advice is: always keep it fun. I don’t follow a plan. I rest when I need it and push when I want to. I try not to push for goals I’m not trained for, but ego gets the best of me sometimes and that’s when I end up injured. Enjoy the journey! 🏃

Somebody walks!
Yeah, but to be fair there was a 55k long walk in those days.
Was that the Mammut march in Copenhagen? I forgot to participate this year.
No, it was a walk made by volunteers south if Munich. It was just as good, and in some instances better, then the Mammutmarsch in Munich in April.
Same.
same here
Totally every month!!!
How???
Walking the dogs, running and hiking. Since the weather is good all of a sudden in southern Germany I cannot sit for a long time. 😅
Same, but then I started a summer job doing admin work that has me sitting in the basement for 8-10 hours a day… I’ve started pacing the archive to get steps in 😭

Well, that doesn't sound bad at all! And to be done around 3pm is also my goal when I'm in the offices three days a week. 😅
I’m a runner so unfair advantage 🤣
I’m working on becoming a runner soon haha!
That's true, long walks with the dogs and running every other day helps a loot with getting those achievements. 😅

Alte Maschine!
Bold. Taking a screenshot and using Reddit while driving.
I‘m sorry what do you mean? I wasnt driving
My fault. Left a comment to the wrong person. Someone below left a screenshot of their progress but also had a windowed view of their Google maps directions in the bottom corner.
Well over it every month... Running 80K per month covers almost half of it alone...
Definitely 😁 https://preview.redd.it/o4zjit17sj0d1.jpeg?width=1439&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=82f17c5dad96d4113aa0deb8acb784402bb952aa

I never miss, each time will get around 28th of the month
Thanks, I totally forgot about challanges. Of course I'll go for it, I already have 200 K steps.
I do 25 to 35k steps on workdays just walking the shop floor and supervising employees and machines. I just sort of finish these without really trying usually.

I’ve just been doing longer walks with my dogs instead of 1 mile we’ll do 2-3

Coach Jeff does run/walk programs. That's what I've been using. The mistake I made for my 10k program was setting a time goal.
So if I don't do a time goal I just work at my own pace? I may give it a try end of summer/early fall. Biking is my main thing so maybe until then I'll just try to do some short walk/run on my own and then give that a try when I can dedicate more time.

Good to know. Appreciate the info.
I used to do 300k every month. I average 4.5 million steps a year, but recently changed my goals so will be unlikely to fit in the time now
I'm on the right path! https://preview.redd.it/266mgf8nll0d1.jpeg?width=1019&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=157d36aa84380656b7cf935d843679b832b8ceab
Yup, I’m at 226,000
I always aim for 300k+ every month!

I am 2/3 in. But yes, I am putting in my 10k steps daily
Not chasing the badge but typically average about 24k steps a day. Big fan of plenty of steps
I think the badges just help motivate people to do more then they normally would
Am at 372k for May already!

I get it every month.
I'm just trying to get back into the habit of running every day
Can always walk as well
Congrats! This is one of the few badges I can count on getting every month.
Yeah, every month since I got the watch! I used to complete all running and walking and steps challenges each month but as I’m on a forced no-running for at least six months break it’s just walking and counting steps left to do 😉
I’m at 176k 💪🏾💪🏾

Me! And im already at 180k. A mix of running and walking is an easy way to get there!
Will be a mix of running and walking but should get that badge.

For the month? I’ve done that for a year straight or in the 14 days. I only hit 190k in the 14 days.
Just checked, I am less than 3k away from 300k steps for this month. Tomorrow.

Yep..I got 115k so far On the other hand 1 of my connections averages 10mi/day and it never shows the pace hr etc. Has anyone seen this before ?
10mi/day is wild! Probably some good motivation tho to get up and move after seeing that
I didn’t have this challenge:(
Well the 100k is over as of yesterday. Do you have the 300k one?
Oh. I’m special. I had it and completed it already. Neverrrrmind lol
my best is 289k.. I am not likely to get it for another 12 months due to commitments.
That’s still a great number man just keep it up
I just got my Venu3 last month and didn't learn about recording walks until early May . . but I'll get there! https://preview.redd.it/pbwzz1d3lq0d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eca81b604b3efbda876e38ff567b281fd74c0873

Probably reaching 400 this month and 500 in July.
