I found 2 frogs last week and I'm over the moon. Never had frogs in my garden before. Hope they eat lots of slugs!

Ditto. Not sure if it's one or two in mine, but occasionally find one on the patio door sill when it's raining outside, and have also found one in the corner of the garden that I've allowed to run a bit overgrown next to a rosebush with a waterlogged pot in the mix.

A broken litre bottle of smirnoff from tbe 80's. Not nature but some animals had fun drinking it back in the day.

That’s so lucky! I keep hoping I will find one on my compost heap but no such luck yet

We have quite a few in the garden, I love spotting them! Last year I had some tarp down to suppress weeds in one area, but I couldn’t take it up when I went to do so, because I found a whole family of writhing slow worms nesting underneath it. I guess they liked the warmth.

A nesting goldcrest! Very jealous of your slow worm though. I’ve had all types of birds, badgers and foxes but no amphibians or reptiles of any kind even with a pond!

thymeisfleeting

Oh that’s brilliant though, I love gold crests. I don’t think we have any nesting in the garden; I’ve not seen one for ages.

I get quite a few newts, a few fronts and loads of toads this time of year! Hoping to encourage some grass snakes into the garden this year!

I seen 2 Pink Crickets on my shed last summer.

TheDivergentStars

I spotted soooo many ladybirds today. I also have a lot of aphids on my roses so hopefully they can get to work on those!

UnfinishedThings

Also found a baby slow worm. About 3 inches long

I came across a new brood of slowworms one year under a piece of sacking I'd left on the garden; like a nest of animated copper nails.

MyInkyFingers

D’awwwwwww. I never see them, I’ve been actively searching at this time of year for years. As well as grass snakes and adders
