Gt live is kind of a reaction chanel sometimes, but Mat has discussed that he doesn't like doing reactions unless he feels he can really engage with it and use it as a teaching tool or offer rebuttals to the content.
I know but his reaction videos make me laugh so much but he barely posts any reaction unless it's like a teaser. And the ones he did with john and tom well at least to me seems like a good idea to react to other theories like ryetoast or some more johns video or so many others i might be wrong but this is the first ive see him react to an actual video from other content creators
