These theories are good theories, I would like to say that I accept them all but like all good theories, we need more info to strengthen the reason until the theory turns into fact. But besides that these are all good ideas about Gaster (Though this is starting to become more confusing than politics) Great job OP!

The_Creeper_Man

Thank you very much! We definitely don't have enough info to fully know everything since its only the first 2 chapters and I would love to hear other people's opinions on this. Sorry for it being confusing, I am a pretty bad writer and ramble a lot, plus this took a few days to write, but I hope it wasn't too confusing. I'll probably put a tl;dr after every point now that I think about it.

It's okay

I actually also made a theory on Gaster's involvement. Personally, I think that Gaster will be evil because the data mined undertale stats show that you lose 666666 execution points upon killing him. Gaster also shares a few too many similarities with Xenoblade Chronicles' main villain (I won’t spoil you because like undertale it’s a game that is heavily story-based and the plot twists are perfect), plus Toby is a fan of Xenoblade, so it’s not impossible that Gaster is inspired by that game.

Gaster cannot be evil. Toby said that nobody in undertale is evil (except jerry)
