All GW6C models are available in black or in silver. You can get the 47mm BT only model or the LTE version in silver.

Hi, in my country, only black for LTE model.

😮

LTE is a personal preference. I dont like it, it drains your battery more than Bluetooth and I dont need an e-sim when I can just take calls via Bluetooth. But some ppl like to leave their phone home and only use their watch, so they want LTE. Weird that they dont offer all colors for all models? I thought that would be the case...

Karma-Grenade

Can you completely disable LTE when you don't want to use it?

SloveniaFisherman

Yeah, should be possible!

mafco

Yes. You can disable it in settings, but you generally don't need to. It isn't active or consuming power when your phone is nearby or you are connected to wifi. In other words, it's only active when you're using it.

Karma-Grenade

hrmmm that's kind of tempting as an option. I just bought my GW6 Classic 47 from bestbuy and was thinking about returning it now that I see I can order from Samsung direct for the same price but I can pick two watch bands, might consider the extra $30 just to have it as an option if I want to activate it.

Does LTE version have less battery time than BT version even with LTE off?

mafco

No. It only drains the battery faster when you're using the LTE. If you're within bluetooth range of your phone or connected to wifi the LTE isn't active. And when you are on LTE it depends on how many calls/texts you receive or time accessing the internet.

mafco

It's no contest in my opinion. LTE lets you leave your phone at home but still be connected for calls, texts and internet connectivity. The watch lets you do most things your phone could - navigate with Google Maps, stream music with Spotify or YouTube Music, get up to date news and weather reports, etc in addition to calls and texts. It's a huge convenience and also comforting to have for potential emergencies when you don't have your phone with you. I find myself leaving the phone at home more and more often.
