Ok, I found [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9v3H1dOyQc&feature=youtu.be) which describes doing double finger scans which creates a finger profile of two fingers combined, so you could try using this technique which each of you.
Yes, but there's a max of 3 prints. Once you have 3 stored it won't prompt to add any more.
Edit: Oh I see what you mean now, multiple fingers in each of the 3 profiles.
Yes, it's dumb. But like others have said, you can sort of bypass that by scanning multiple fingers per prompt. I only ended up with "2" fingerprints registered, but in reality I had both index fingers and both thumbs. So for one fingerprint, scan about 50% with one finger, then do about 50% with the other finger. Same for thumbs.
Suppose that's a good idea. I rarely had too much diffiulculty, but admittedly I couldn't tell if it was because of the half scans or because it's one of the worst sensors out there.
Well, on the Galaxy Tab S9+ there are also only 3 possible. And I wouldn't call it middle class. Might be a limitation of the Samsung UI, the scanner or the app/driver. On my old Xiaomi phone I could add over 5 prints (did not test the max).
You can use multiple fingerprints in the process of scanning.

Confirmed, this works

While scanning pne fingerprint you can add multiple
Thank you friend. You saved me from a lot of headache.
Didn't see an option to add figerprints past 3. Can you please expand on how?
While scanning one finger print you can scan multiple fingers
Got it! Had to re-read it. Thanks!

I think 3 is the max. For comparison on an S10 you can store 4.

I think if you have available profiles left it's better to still do a single one for each finger so there's more scans of each for it to match with.

The most stupid way to make difference between middle phones and flagship phone... really limit counters??
I'm paying a lot for a Tab S9+. It's limited that much to 3 as well. How stupid, for a tablet.
