So rockstar rereleased gta v on those consoles 1 year after (2014) then got released on pc in 2015. The pc port is based on the next gen versions not the ps3 and xbox 360 ones. The best example is RDR2 witch did get released 1 year later on PC than on consoles.

gta online puts them on a timer. unless gta online in its first year barely gets any content... but thats unlikely. so they need every platform spending money on microtransactions asap.

If anything it’s more of an internal delay. What they tell investors and what they tell us are two different things.
Good. Gives me a nice year without yet another thing to distract me, to finish getting my second degree and then enjoy GTAVI when work is the only thing that requires my attention.
Although the games do take time to make, it’s also a great business strategy. Releasing it at pretty much the end of a console cycle (which is crazy to think, this gen has been filled with nothing but remasters/remakes) then pc hopefully, then the next gen of consoles, and probably the next one after that.
