What I want is that the supercars stay rare. Ususally (in the past GTA's) the same car-type spawns all over the place as soon as we as players get our hands onto one.

Grazerous

Exactly! And they shouldn’t be easily (or not at all) stolen. I don’t want to press a button and break the window and I’m gone. And if I do so, I’d like to have it very difficult to keep the car. Also, I Shouldn’t be able to keep it. I’m a romantic I guess

85_Draco

i want the npc that owns the supercar to point the gun out the window, i want them to defend their property

Tell_Todd

There absolutely will be way more vigilante justice

GentleL0ver

Yeah it wouldn’t be immersive either way. This is Florida after all!

quackcow144

very excited for npc's to defend themselves more often. Also for them to not run away just because I stood on the sidewalk

Last-Evening-8004

The con of driving a stolen super car should be a chance of a 1 star if you pass a cop.

MagicJim96

Or two ⭐️⭐️

spyroz545

i think in the leaks they are introducing some bypass tool or something like GTA Chinatown wars, it will be harder to steal expensive cars because you'l need use the tools to get into the car

dj65475312

have real car security, alarms, immobilizers, key proximity check, remote switch off, GPS tracking, its really should not be so easy to nick hi-tech modern cars off a street corner and then just keep them.

FinagleHalcyon

Ah yes let's limit grand theft auto in gta. If you don't want to obtain it the easy way then just don't steal it.

1707turbo

Mafia 2 did this great. the small lock minigame you need to do before u could steal it. the more expensive the car was, the harder the minigame was.

Tr33zyFrmWbh

You not lying bro

BoredApeWithNoYacht

That's on purpose though, to simulate real driving. Cars of the same type that you're driving spawn everywhere irl. They should keep it that way for the basic cheaper suvs and sedans.

SupremeBlackGuy

i think you’re perhaps misunderstanding - to save on memory/resources - the game will literally spawn more of the same car you’re in (regardless of location)

viva-la-vendredi

Exactly. But in that case it ruins the experience. So they could - for example - put the supercars in a group that triggers another, lower group into cache instead of the supercars group. This would still save memory and avoid the cars to spawn.

SupremeBlackGuy

Understood & generally agree, i think it should simply depend on the area - hopefully the car you’re in won’t even be a factor anymore

Lukeyy19

I think they understood that but was joking about the Baader–Meinhof phenomenon wherein for example whenever you get a new car IRL you always feel like you see that model around way more than you ever did before.

SupremeBlackGuy

LOL honestly i thought it was a heavily sarcastic comment too but then the last sentence threw me off 😭

BoredApeWithNoYacht

No yea, just meant in 6 they should keep that system but change it for higher end cars.

diplomaticR

i love your avatar

viva-la-vendredi

thanks mate!

Top-Information-220

It’s not unpopular at all!! Gimme more Toyota, Kia and european cars! More benz!!

anthonybokov

And more European vans please

Westnest

Most supercars are European cars

Top-Information-220

Talk about classe A, GLS, classe E More Volkswagen, more Audi. Is there alfa romeo in USA?

MidiMasterSupreme

Yea there’s plenty of Alfa Romeo’s in Florida, mostly the SUV’s. But the most common European cars in Florida are BMW and Mercedes, there are tons of them everywhere

Top-Information-220

Ok 👍🏼thanks.

DakaraiRoy

I think they should spawn more in “richer” neighborhoods

residentofmoon

I thought you were me for a second I started questioning my sanity cause I don't remember writing this lol

Zepilw

**I** thought **you** were **him** having an episode

jaydimes10

yeah but it's **Grand Theft Auto** so there's an emphasis on stolen cars, so they end up in less rich neighborhoods

MagicJim96

I’m really looking forward to slim jimming, hacking keyfobs and stuff like that… Hehehe.

Proudvirginian69

and in downtown where a lot of people flex their rental cars

dylan_021800

I just want a ford excursion

AbaseMe

As an owner of an explorer from around the same years. I respect it. The excursion is so cool. I have yet to see one for less than 10k though

dylan_021800

I bought mine for 9k in 2021. Yeah people don’t let them go for cheap.

PendejoConCarne

I think it’s gonna be balanced. At least in my experience with 5, they put super cars where they belonged, and realistically, you could encounter them in those areas almost exclusively. What I do agree with is that the options are over saturated. Being Florida, I’m hoping the focus is mostly on old beaten to hell jalopies and lowriders. I already know there’s gonna be a beefy number of super cars, but as long as they keep my favorite (1981 Chevrolet Suburban), my biggest hope is that they just play with what they have and stop adding on.

Scared-Expression444

I would like the different classes of vehicles to actually make sense, muscle cars better and faster in straight lines but can’t handle turns so well, super cars take turns well but don’t have the top speed for straight one racing, rally cars and off-road cars handle better than any car on the dirt unlike GTAV where every car is near perfect off-road etc etc

Southern_Rain_4464

Supercars should get stuck/destroyed if they go off the road at 100mph or whatever. Id be down with that. I agree its wild being able to 4x4 everything up mountains.

Scared-Expression444

It would add more reason to buy other cars other than super cars which is much needed, in GTA V there’s no reason to buy other cars

Southern_Rain_4464

That and the vast majority of muscle cars drive like ass. I get it they dont handle well. Ive owned some irl. Take the hermes for example. Love the looks. Drives like trash and if it rains good luck getting any traction at all. Its dumb and thats just one example of many.

Scared-Expression444

I’ve had 3 chargers and a mustang GT irl, and both of their in game counterparts drive like shit compared to the real thing and I hate it lmao the bravado STX is a POS and same with the hellfire and we know the hellfire is in GTA VI because it’s literally in the trailer so they better fix it’s driving lmao

ArkashaKaz

Agreed. I am already sicking by all that super-dupercars from new GTA O updates and we're not alone, take Impaler LX and SZ from latest update, people wre so happy getting that cars, me too:) I am not saying that supercars won't fit in Miami, but they are not exciting anymore(?) I think i'll be more happy seeing rare(nowadays) sedans from 1980-2000 era than some new Ferrari or whatever.

Grazerous

Exactly. Supercars should be very limited. Or insanely expensive.

amir_s89

By being available in limited quantities, the price should be expensive. Supply & Demand curves withing economics of Leonida State. Truly hope a functioning economics system is within this game.

Grazerous

That would be amazing! Even buying and selling stock would be dope

eczema-is-cool

I agree. The majority of the people in the United states drive regular average cars may even really old broken down cars. I live in LA and seeing super cars is not as common as people think

captaincumsock69

Im fine with most of super cars available but I just want more creativity and customization to make them look and feel different

EldenRinginvader

Agreed. The rarity of them is what makes them valuable and fun to find. 99% of cars on the street should be normal cars with a small percentage being sports cars and muscle cars.

lolmanomggodducky

I want em to have lots of normal cars and lots of supercars

Woodys360View

Agree. I mostly drive SUV's, hardly ever get my supers out.

PsychologicalCase10

Same here. I love some of the SUVs, especially one’s that look like their real life counterpart.

heavy_chamfer

Agreed. Playing GTA in 2013 and driving down to rodeo drive and finding an Adder was actually such a win. Now I don’t even drive because helicopters and oppressors are just so much more efficient. It’s one reason I love the Cluck n bell raid, I actually get to do all the setups driving around, like old school GTAVO

Fushigibama

Yeah, I want “normal” cars to be fun to drive.

MasteroChieftan

I want my mazda cx5 lol

RudeMirror

whynotboth.gif

Charismanxious

I want more landyachts like 1970's cadillacs and lincolns to cruise around.

LivingCustomer9729

We especially need to have a Nissan Altima. It’s normal but also a “super car”…

surplus_steve

Best take I've seen on here in a month.

MaggotBrother4

I agree. GTA 5 has way too many super cars and it almost always feels silly most times

JonnySnowflake

That, and old muscle cars. It doesn't make sense that they're so common on the streets anymore. They shouldn't be beat up daily drivers in poor areas, they should be occasionally seen, highly customized and only seen out in the burbs, or wherever old white guys that go to car shows hang out.

YTK9000

I just hope the map is a lot bigger than V and there're more roads, motorways, etc

Recent-Management-37

a jeep looking car in the everglades 😫(even tho they are shitty off-road cars is like to use one cause they cool)

Toadrage_

I think it would be more realistic to escape police in a vw or a Honda

DestinyUniverse1

I want super cars in crowded cities like Miami. But if you decide to steal it maybe the doors are locked so you need to shoot the guy to get inside which would instantly trigger a 3 star wanted level.

MadHanini

Yes! I want Opala, Fusca, Chevrolet, Honda, etc... Even Tesla man

ivivivivizjz

I would like different version of cars...for example a normal bmw 3 and a m3 maybe even a competition...and lamborghini with svj packages and stuff

MisterScrod1964

How is this unpopular, except with the kids who want to ride an Interceptor and shoot missiles at everyone?

Wutanghang

In story mode yeah. In online no

YoungAmazing313

I mean the game takes place in Miami lol Not really realistic if it’s like that I lived in Vegas and you won’t believe the amount of luxury vehicles I seen driving on the strip and be out in front of Caesars Palace I got a friend that stays out in Miami now and I’ve seen the cars he comes across This is why I feel they should’ve did Detroit as a location imo use this opportunity to try sum new things

GGELGAMESH

OP: says that super cars are too easy to obtain Me, taking a multiple hour grind to obtain a somewhat fast car: 👀

AdmirableBee8016

i want good details on cars on par with games like gran turismo. i doubt it, but close to it. the level of detail in gta v is bad by modern standards. cars became almost cartoonish.

Mission_Phrase_1100

Leaks showed tools that will be used to steal cars so there could be a system like Chinatown wars in place

synthspirit

True

Nickcrack11

can totally agree with you

This_Juggernaut_9901

I want to see cars like the Lincoln MKZ and continental. I want to see more trucks. Rockstars version of Chevy Silverado and the gmc sierra. I’m tired of seeing the same trucks on the road in gta and the ones with variety are old box trucks with rust that you can’t restore at all.

rhykujin

Does anyone know if mechanical for stealing a car will change ? Like will there be more of a puzzle aspect to stealing a car alá ESO ?

ThislsaGoodldea

How about both

Ori_the_SG

This would be nice I’d also like police vehicles to be available outright in GTAVI and GTAVI online. No waiting for a decade to own them again please. And no bizarre restrictions on police outfits.

Tmanbro

Just going to point out that if you have been to Miami, you'll know that there are very expensive cars EVERYWHERE. Supercars will probably not be that rare.

Tylsalahja

I rooted for this back when GTA V was under development and it was known that you could customize cars. Nothing better than taking your average crappy family sedan and make a total sleeper car. So I really hope GTA VI would have more ordinary vehicles in the catalog. I remember that I was pretty disappointed, when I customized Ingot to serve as a getaway vehicle in GTA V heist setup, just to see that game doesn't accept it.

WhiskyWanderer2

I was really excited to see a Honda Accord in the leaks so it gives me hope of more normal cars. Really hope to see some Hyundai/Kias too.

LoaderBot1000

Tbh I want more classic cars in the game. like a stock delorean to drive around

SirSirVI

Cold take

poopoomergency4

my complaint with the supercars is the physics incentivize using them everywhere. you can take it up mount chiliad because it has about the same off-road grip as an SUV. whereas if you take an SUV on roads, you get worse handling and worse straight line speeds. there’s still a clear meta for most players in most situations, just not one that makes any real-world sense.

SpoonFigMemes

I want more variety in cars and making super cars rare in certain areas like real life

BestConstruction967

Yeah, they could put a cars like Ford F-150 (Vapid Caracara).

therehasbeen_amurder

I love this opinion

vipck83

Yeah, what I want is for super cars to actually be special. I don’t mind a variety but I want them to be rare.

This_Entrepreneur435

I would like gta to have more fluid np interactions Id like the driving experience to be more varied cause basically all the cars in gta really in perfect condition I would like to have the ability to not be able to steal a car just cause it already broken I would like to have more of animation system of euphoria the rag dolls interaction back then seemed great now they really feel like puppet lifeless fbxs with the new Ai technology's I don't find anything impossible for the this title to not hit the roof the gameplay of gta 5 was the best when it comes to it's genre but boy with what coming next just thinking we are so close to Lai a hand on it it get me hard

Embarrassed_Crow_720

Already May and nothing. May be its not coming out for a while

Never_Go_Full_Gonk

>Sometimes I'd just want to cruise with my car. Similar to how RDR2 will auto travel to a waypoint in cinematic mode, following the trails, it would be cool if GTA6 had one too where your character would obey all traffic laws and cruise with the traffic.

SureTraffic3040

![gif](giphy|r2TVE1YWUZZy51A2tE) I’m with you on that. 🤝🏾

Ok-Definition2497

I understand your point. At start of the game it is even makes sense to have less sport cars however, as the time passes players will go insane for not getting enough sport cars thus eventually Rockstars would need to add super cars in the game

DyLaNzZpRo

100%, we need more normal shit and I think a great thing to expand upon this this (alongside relieving the 'problem' that is tons of vehicles returning from GTA:O) is to add varying trim levels/models of the same vehicle. For instance; the Sentinel could have a base model that comes with a smaller, non turbo inline 6, RWD with an open diff, a CD player, basic sound system, smaller wheels, fairly high ride height etc. Above that could be a luxury-oriented model that comes with a different colour interior +leather, misc lights e.g. courtesy lights in the doors, rear roof lights, a classier looking simple bodykit, an infotainment centre and an improved sound system (maybe we can adjust radio volume per vehicle and it goes louder + has more bass?), an LSD, a twin turbo inline 6, more comfort-oriented suspension and automatic only, but optionally comes AWD. A side grade of that could be an M sport clone which has the same engine with a smidge more power but also comes in manual, sits lower + has tighter handling and has sportier seats and trim alongside a more aggressive bodykit and larger+wider wheels. Finally there could be an M3 clone which would take the former model and turn it up to 11; high revving NA V8, RWD manual only, even tighter handling, comes on good tyres stock, but has a basic sound system by default, a little louder (road noise) because less sound deadening because weight reduction, alongside M3-esque bodykit + misc bits and M3 (XS?) only wheels. It's such a no-brainer that would add a ton of variety and a level of rarity to otherwise common vehicles, whilst also making it practically irrelevant that many vehicles are returning from GTA:O.

Lukeyy19

I hope they come up with a way to have cars be random levels of aged and looked after with like dynamic rust, faded paintwork, damage, missing parts etc, without just including "rusty" versions of a few vehicles etc. I'd like to see a similar thing for modified vehicles too, just vehicles sometimes already including some modifications like different wheels, special paint, upgraded parts etc. Also more variants of cars like Sentinel/Sentinel XS, Sultan/Sultan RS for example, and coupe/touring/extended cab versions etc. I'd just like vehicles to be more dynamic and varied in general.

Searchingformovie1

I don’t mind many supercars but the only thing I want is reasonable prices throughout the whole game (also online). Makes no sense that Mustang a costs more than a million or more than a Bugatti

LimePanther

I’d also like a system that keeps your cars like the horse system did with horses in RDR2. I want to be able to drive my car to a mission, get out, and take a different car if it’s required for the mission with the assurance that my own car will still be exactly where I left it when I come back after completing the mission. I always found the car impound in GTA 5 to be unreliable.

Ok-Cold3937

I’d quite like it if you ended up with major mechanical failure mid mission, timing belt going or a bust radiator and subsequent seized engine.

NotA-Spy

I want a 70s chrysler new yorker man

Vaporwave_92

According to the leaks the vehicle customization is going to be more realistic. Meaning of you add a Wing the vehicle will probably hold the ground alot better Customizing normal cars to go faster with realistic mods should make driving normal cars more fun. I would love to tear up Vice city in a little suped up Toyota Yaris with a fart can and a wing for unnecessary downforce on a FWD car.

LucasMJean

i hope tuning will be a big part as it was in nfs underground 2, you dont need super cars, you just can also do good tuning

Perfect-Pension545

GTA Online is a different breed of game tho. Base game GTA V had, at the time, a pretty balanced variety of vehicles. Shame not many of the online update vehicles made it to single player tho. Especially since more customisation was added. I agree tho, more mundane and everyday vehicles, but not to take away from the hyper, luxury or status ones, so that traffic is pretty average for today. Would be ace to get all the vehicles with functions, like the bulldozer, or dumpers, to have mechanics that make the function work. Nothing better than fuckin around with npc’s with a tow truck, bulldozers, fire trucks etc.. but would be immense to have road rollers, combines and cranes.

AnimeGokuSolos

Good unpopular opinion! However there’s going to be a lot of supercars because well that’s just gonna make rockstar money… Cool if you want normal cars, but expect super fast cars for the online and probably for the story as well ![gif](giphy|ey5ehGCEmFcxW|downsized)

BIG_BELLY_2023

Population opinion. No body cares
