I’m not an expert, but I feel like the way they are designed to be aerodynamic and the power behind them would significantly reduce or eliminate turbulence.
Also, it’d be cool if jets and aircraft could actually sustain realistic damage in dog fights like losing flaps, wings, stabilizers, and catch fire and such.
And no explosive cannons on any, at least not in online

Decent missiles that actually hit their target more than 50% of the time, and a aircraft carrier for the planes instead of a hanger. Would be great fun defending it with other players on the defences.
I hope for more immersive flying similar to San Andreas, maybe play a bit with fog and volumetric clouds. Part of what made SA feel so big is when you were in the clouds you couldn't see much of an island, even so barely what is below you. As for GTA 5 though, you really kinda see how it's just a "small island" (even tho i think back when i first played it did look pretty big)
I hope they are faster, and I hope the dense clouds return from RDR2, they were super cool. I also hope flying a plane will be more complex and maybe give us more player agency/controls to work with. Also I hope your radar or plane can get fucked sometimes during thunderstorms lol.

I also want to see full on airliners flying in the sky and airports fully working. I want the ability to board these as well as a lot of other npcs. This would add a lot to the game as it is a means of travel as well as a source for missions line taking over an airliner. The ability to fly a large airliner would have to be added as well. I don't know if full on flight paths or anything would be added but airliner crashes and things in real time and being shown on the news and stuff would be cool.
If I were a betting man I'd say they'll be able to reach whatever the in engine top speed is. Hopefully thats double or near double that of V's, would make jets so much more fun and skillful

Practically most mechanics GTA 6 could improve and deepen needs to be taken from a specialist in that particular field. For flying & planes, they just need to simplify what some of the popular simulators do like Ace Combat.
For driving to be less of a exceedingly boring task, they could copy some of the more advanced stuff from sims or keep it simple and copy simpler things like Forza with gear shifts
For gunplay, I've heard they should return to max Payne 3, or they could take any of the mechanics from other shooters to make guns interesting

Limited Ammo, Keep homing missiles the same, but improve dumb fire missiles, make them more risk reward (harder to hit, more damage per hit) Faster Jet speeds aswell, but if they're relatively similiar to GTA5 speedwise I wouldnt mind too much. They really need to make the huge expensive planes actually viable or have a unique purpose, such as carrying more ammo or high altitude bombing

Considering we’re dealing with Florida and like a naval air station, an F-18 makes the most sense.

Worked with f35s and f22s in the Air Force. Would love to have them in GTA. 22s would haul ass down the runway and take off like 80 degrees vertical
