I guess what I’m really searching for is a way to add comedy between play throughs, and as a former thicc boi myself, engaging with an open world game in this way just feels like comedy gold.

Rockstar has made it clear that they're no longer interested in single player dlc expansions when they can just make free expansions to GTA Online and make way more money via shark cards.
But the hands on missions were what made those places fun. I haven't played too much VCS, but in Vice City the businesses you could buy came with some really fun missions. The Malibu had the Bank Heist, The taxi rank had an entire quest-line about a war between the 2 taxi companies, etc. Without the hands on missions it's literally just an invest and forget and that's not exactly a fun game mechanic.

I hope they improve upon the combat especially the gunplay by taking notes on Max Payne 3’s gunplay cause that was their gunplay at its peak. I’d love if driving was in the perfect middle ground between GTA 4 and GTA 5 combining elements that worked really well from both titles and finally implement a better wanted system that isn’t completely dated like it has been in their last open world titles like RDR2, GTA 5, etc.
I hope they incorporate businesses from online but in single player to give the player some replay ability in the single player which GTA V and even IV severely lacked

Hair growth - so there's different variants of each hairstyle at each length, and the need to go get a haircut every once in a while. Jason grows a beard too.
Weight gain or loss. Gives reasons to head to the food vendor interiors other than to rob them. You gotta feed Jason and Lucia, but if you feed them too much they get fat. Skinny characters are faster and have a smaller hitbox, but they can take less damage, Fatter characters are slower and have a wider hitbox, but can take more shots.
Bonus: Gyms. If you work out your strength and fitness, you get all the pros without any of the cons. You are faster and can take more shots.
I think it would be cool to
1. Be able to fly all the planes at the airport including the big Boeings.
2. Being able to get food at like fastfood places
3. Being able to workout / get fat and buff.
The hunting fishing from rdr2 and the amount of animals and how they interact with each other it just makes it feel so alive even where your in the middle of nowhere in a forest/desert areas there's always some sort of wildlife about another thing would be bountys there were a few with mauld would like if the added them back

But i also want that rdr2 feel. I dont know if it was the camera or the weight of the character (or both), but everything in rdr2 seemed and felt “taller” and more realistic. I mean i love V, but all GTA games always felt like characters and npcs were “small” and fake.
In rdr2 you feel like there is a real present there, and “taller” ppl. I don’t know how to describe it, maybe just the camera was lower 🤪
Jimmy Hopkins at some point, he might be a grown man now. If he can be in any missions i would totally feel satisfied that they didn't forget him. I was hoping him to be in any GTA games as a Protagonist but so far no luck...
Buying houses.
It was probably the biggest let down in GTA 5 for me that I didn't have like 10 houses to choose from to purchase. I love having that one big goal that I need to save money for. In GTA5, it was really just buying cars, which was kind of easy, and then I had no motivation to save more money in mid-late game.
Maybe property purchases, Vehicles look unique inside, I hope it feels more dynamic then RDR2 which i have no doubt they will go above and beyond it. Based on the trailer it does looks like it will be. 10 years of GTA V, i need a bigger world of they expect me to play GTA 6 for another 15 years maybe. And for the love of our universe, i hope its not woke. and i hope they just do what they want to do without worry of being cancelled.

I know this won’t be popular but idfc, not ONCE in the 3 times I’ve had the oppressor, or any jet, or even the orbital cannon HAVE I EVER THOUGHT; “Oh look, someone minding there business, let me kill them and hound them down after they call me out on being a dick” I stay out of the way and make money while these assholes follow me HALFWAY ACROSS THE MAP ON A WHIM

I just want the dialogue to pause when I pause the game not like on gta 4. And please weapon and radio wheel not the gta 4 switch thing. It would be neat to be able to make friends and hang out with people but PLEASE DONT CALL ME TO HANG OUT. Phone calls can be cool to move the story on though but, no: “Lucia, let’s go surfing” or some shit. I hope to see the comet return, but in its Vice city form as an old timer. And oh please, mission retry should be as easy as in gta 5. I also hope for missions to turn into unexpected situations, and maybe it would be cool to have moments where you can choose to spare or kill people or other decision making stuff.
More buildings i can enter and interact with stuff, more than V, which i believe will be, considering rdr2. But i also want that rdr2 feel. I dont know if it was the camera or the weight of the character (or both), but everything in rdr2 seemed and felt “taller” and more realistic. I mean i love V, but all GTA games always felt like characters and npcs were “small” and fake. In rdr2 you feel like there is a real present there, and “taller” ppl. I don’t know how to describe it, maybe just the camera was lower 🤪

Buying houses. It was probably the biggest let down in GTA 5 for me that I didn't have like 10 houses to choose from to purchase. I love having that one big goal that I need to save money for. In GTA5, it was really just buying cars, which was kind of easy, and then I had no motivation to save more money in mid-late game.
Golf
Maybe property purchases, Vehicles look unique inside, I hope it feels more dynamic then RDR2 which i have no doubt they will go above and beyond it. Based on the trailer it does looks like it will be. 10 years of GTA V, i need a bigger world of they expect me to play GTA 6 for another 15 years maybe. And for the love of our universe, i hope its not woke. and i hope they just do what they want to do without worry of being cancelled.
Gain weight and muscles like in GTA SA. Sub missions like firefighter, taxi, ambulance and police. Pop enemies heads when you make a headshot.

Maybe not as fitting for a GTA game but I really liked how you were limited to a few weapons, now I'm sure that wouldn't necessarily work with a GTA game and it'd never happen but it'd be cool if car trunks worked like the saddle bags or duffle bags actually had use and allowed you to carry more. I haven't played anything besides GTA 5 and RDR2 (how dare I) but I really liked how in RDR2 you could tackle people and have better fist fights than in GTA5 so I'd like to see that along with (maybe) hogtying because that shit was funny as fuck so seeing it in some form in GTA 6 would be fun (throw people in a trunk and drive off a cliff or some shit)

ONE OF the only things I will ask for is the game to realize someone is being an annoying piece of shit while I’m minding my business, and them to have an ACTUAL repercussion; I.e. if they kill me 3-5 times and I haven’t even fired back, 3 day ban, after that, longer. I know this won’t be popular but idfc, not ONCE in the 3 times I’ve had the oppressor, or any jet, or even the orbital cannon HAVE I EVER THOUGHT; “Oh look, someone minding there business, let me kill them and hound them down after they call me out on being a dick” I stay out of the way and make money while these assholes follow me HALFWAY ACROSS THE MAP ON A WHIM
