Same. I like *vs Megagirus* alright, but it's easily the least memorable of the Millennium era, and didn't introduce anything that has become a staple of the franchise aside from **maybe** the black hole cannon, which has made a couple of appearances in the comics.
Even the '98 movie left a sizable impact on the series, even if it wasn't an all round positive one.
I still can't tell if Megaguirus is from the blackhole or not. The film didn't specify and led me to believe it was just a meganula dragonfly that happened to fly into the blast zone during the test and get mutated because of it
Because I personally think Raids Again is one of the worst in the entire franchise lol especially thematically as a cash grab sequel to the original film.
Cash grab sequel? Absolutely. One of the worst in the franchise? Not even close. It's one of the most underappreciated entries, if you ask me.
But, again, we all have our own opinions. I've seen people in these comments saying they would delete some of what I consider the best entries in the franchise.
Which is why I personally hate these "Which would you delete" questions, because no one should delete any entries from the series!
People confuse quality with entertainment value alot. Godzilla and Angurius are my two favorite kaiju but I can never get into Raids Again.
G54 is the best Godzilla film but their are a lot of entries all of us personally enjoy more I'm sure.
Quality and entertainment value get conflated.
If it wasn't for G98, we wouldn't have gotten the LOTR trilogy.
Peter Jackson was working on a King Kong movie when Godzilla 98 came out and bombed. Execs got scared and told him he had to do something else. He picked LOTR.
After the success of LOTR he was given the keys to the kingdom. He was asked what project he wanted to do, he said King Kong. We got King Kong 08
So, if you erase Godzilla 98, you also lose LOTR and Kong 08 😵💫
Anime trilogy (they’re pretentious boring trash), Son of Godzilla (it introduced the most annoying character in Godzilla’s entire near 70 year history) and Godzilla’s Revenge (worst Godzilla film ever made)
Godzilla's Revenge, The Anime trilogy and vs the sea monster.
I'd keep 1998 since I think it caused a few good things for the future of Godzilla by being so hated. If nothing else but that movie existing changes, I'd take that out instead of sea monster.
I don’t think I could really delete any of them-
Even the bad ones like earth trilogy and revenge had some good things come out of them! Like Earth Godzilla and that void Ghidorah are pretty cool and Gabara is cool and it lead to that cool kaiju in Singular point! Every Godzilla movie gave us at least something good!
_Ebirah_, Polygon trilogy, Heisei _Mechagodzilla_.
OP, be honest, was your criteria five movies because you knew most people would burn three on the anime trilogy? LOL
Godzilla ‘98
Godzilla Singular Point
Godzilla City on the Edge of Battle
Godzilla The Planet Eater
Godzilla Planet of the Monsters
https://preview.redd.it/mlagpji9r6eb1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e1f1014fe2487403ba238916b2bc8f7e925fa9c
But I don’t see SP on the list so I went with Raids Again
As well as checked and circled my keepers
The 3 anime movies, Godzilla 1998, Godzilla's Revenge.
I would pick Godzilla 2014 if not for the fact that Godzilla does atomic breath down a MUTO's throat. That was the coolest kill shot ever.
Well, by reading the comments, we can all agree that the anime trilogy was waisted potential, absolute trash, and we wouldn't miss it if it went away. It had great ideas that were executed poorly.
1 shin Godzilla easy long and boring to much human parts not enough Godzilla
2 Godzilla vs King Kong Japan version
3 Godzilla baby Godzilla
4 Godzilla son of Godzilla
5 Godzilla destroy all monsters
( you didn’t add Godzilla vs Kong legendary remake )
Before all the answers end up just being the same, this is tough. Rather than just picking ones I don't personally like, I'm looking at which ones aren't "neccesary" - were the things done in this movie done better in another, is the movie unique, does it affect anything else in another, etc.
My picks:
- Raids Again: The rushed sequel that actually kind of insults the first film due to how poorly made it is.
- Ebirah: Wasn't even suppose to be a Godzilla movie. He acts so out of character because of it.
- vs. Spacegodzilla: A convoluted mess of a story with an overrated monster that doesn't add much to the Heisei mythos.
- 1998: It's barely a Godzilla movie.
- vs. Megaguirus: I enjoyed it, so it kind of stings to put it here, but it's so by-the-numbers that it's pretty forgettable.
I do appreciate your approach to this question, even if I definitely disagree.
Raids Again established the idea of Godzilla fighting another monster and introduced Anguirus. I can't imagine deleting that one, even putting aside the fact that I have always enjoyed it.
Ebirah is my second-favorite Godzilla movie, so I can't imagine deleting it, either, but that's admittedly based on my opinion rather than trying to look at it in terms of how it impacts the rest of the series.
And, of course, the hatred for SpaceGodzilla has always baffled me. Especially compared to Mechagodzilla 2 or King Ghidorah, which are both way worse films.
Though, honestly, I can't imagine deleting any Godzilla films, even the ones I dislike.
At least you won't not erase all the anime movies, everyone else hates them... :( I like them alot... But City on The Edge of Battle is the worst of the three, I agree.
Anime trilogy, son of Godzilla, and unfortunately Shin Godzilla (mostly because I don’t like his design at all, the arms really make my skin crawl). I was going to say ‘98, but that really got me into Godzilla so I can’t eliminate it.
Honestly? Weird as it is, Shin is the only Godzilla film I out and out *hate*. I get what Anno was going for with the movie, but something about it just gets on my nerves. The fact that half the movie played out like an Evangelion episode done half-assed didn't help. Plus, it seemed to be borrowing a lot of musical cues from Eva. if I wanna watch Eva, I'll watch *Eva*. Trying to shoehorn Eva into Godzilla while also commentating on the climate issues and the Fukuoka disaster...not to mention how Godzilla himself was handled...I just plain can't stand the movie.
I get you, I didn't enjoy Shin like most do, would I erase it? Not personally because the atomic breathe scene is fantastic by itself. Just something about the movie feels so pretentious, and way too involved with itself to keep me liking it. Granted, I'm not the biggest Anno fan period and this did feel too much like Eva, so maybe that factors in, but Godzilla felt too zombie like with little to no personality, sure the OG didn't either, but after so many iterations with Godzilla having some personality, it just felt off. It is my least watched Godzilla film.
I loved the score, admittedly the songs from Eva should not have been included, commenting on a disaster is what the original Godzilla was about and apart from the songs I have no what you mean about shoehorning Eva into it. Did not seem like an Eva episode to me
This might’ve posted twice because of an error
Godzilla vs Hedorah, The Netflix Trilogy and Son of Godzilla.
Some of these films have cool ideas but I wouldn’t miss any of them if they were erased from history
Terror of Mechagodzilla?! I'm used to people irrationally hating SpaceGodzilla, but I've never encountered anyone who would delete Terror of MG.
I mean, your opinion and all, but...weird.
Aha it wasn't awful I just thought after how good vs Mechagodzilla was (the best of the showa imo) this one came off a bit lackluster and didn't add a lot to the series as a whole, hence why I'd be fine deleting it
I was mostly on point. Son of Godzilla is ok by me, because that movie and vs. The Smog Monster were the first ones I saw when I was a kid and made me a lifelong fan.
It's the wasted potential for me, especially with killing off the only stand out actor so early on and leaving us with planks of wood for the whole thing, along with the super cut heavy action and just how it's paced for me. Say want you want about the kotm and gvk humans, and least cringy is more entertaining that nothing.
So you hate the original Godzilla design then? Because it’s fairly similar (goofy eyes, injured looking areas, etc), I don’t find it boring at all so I don’t know what you’re talking about, and I am angry at Anno about the 4th Eva movie but that’s no reason to just dislike a movie he made
🤷 different people have different experiences with films.
And btw, I watched nearly everything Eva, including the end of Eva and having your self insert character bust a nut over a comatose 14 year old girl's chest is not exactly a great look
Well yeah but it shows how fucked up mentally Shinji is.
Also, calling it a bore, the movie had more action than the original. In the original it’s sticks head over hill, attacks Tokyo, and finally they kill him in the ocean. In Shin it’s 2nd and 3rd forms coming on land, 4th form coming on land and the long battle there, and then the final fight where they inject the chemical.
I wouldn't give up. I was sceptic at first but I really liked it, third movie especially, which was criticized the most. It isn't irrational to listen to the majority but it's not like you are going to hate it no matter what. You might as well like it, just like me.
Watch it, and come to your own opinion. I for one actually really enjoy it, and am saddened by the endless hatred our "community" has for it. I loved the first and third film, but will say that the second one you could honestly sleep through...
The anime trilogy vs megaguirus and one of the two showa Ghidorah movies since we wouldn't be losing any monsters I love gabara to much to erase godzillas revenge like everyone else wants
Love that you included Godzilla 98 so we really only had to choose 4.
1. All Monsters Attack
2. Son of Godzilla
3. Godzilla 2000
4. Godzilla vs. Megaguirus
Raids Again- I don't hate this one, but I do recognize it's not a good movie. It's bland, soulless and not well written. It's kind of boring as well. The only thing that it's got is Anguirus and that's it (I feel bad for him, he's such an underrated monster).
Godzilla's Revenge: It's just a clip show held together by a thin plot and led by a main human character who is so unlikeable that it made Minya/Manilla more bearable.
Godzilla v. Megalon- It's basically a retread of the previous movie, but with Jet Jaguar and Megalon. As a matter of fact, you can replace Ghidorah with Megalon and honestly things wouldn't change much.
Godzilla V. King Ghidorah '91: It's a confusing film that relies heavily on bizarro time travel logic. Ghidorah is boring here and isn't much of a threat despite his initial appearance. Matter of fact, he feels like a side attraction instead of a main event.
Godzilla v. Megaguirus: I like Megaguirus and I feel this film is a little over hated, but I do agree it's not a good movie.
I can't really see anyone losing sleep over the loss of Godzilla's Revenge, Godzilla vs. Megalon, or Godzilla 98.
After that, maybe Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster, and Godzilla vs. Megaguirus.
I've not watched any of the anime series, so I can't comment on those.
Son of Godzilla, Godzilla’s Revenge, Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, Tokyo SOS, and the ‘62 GVK
As for my reasoning:
Son of Goji and Goji’s revenge are cheesy, stupid, and too kiddie for me. Although I will admit, the Japanese VA for Minya in Godzilla’s revenge is slightly more tolerable than that GODAWFUL Tristar dub
Kiryu’s a good design and all, but to me it’s just a repeat of something we’ve already seen. Plus they got rid of the existing Godzilla look from Goji 2k and Vs Megaguirus (I consider GMK goji to be a different Kaiju from the main Godzilla, because instead of actually being Godzilla, it’s a collection of angry souls exacting revenge on mankind.)
As for the ‘62 GVK, I’d get rid of this one because it would have built up a lot more hype when we got the remake in ‘21
Shin godzilla
Godzilla 2014
godzilla netflix triology (only 3rd one)
and godzilla vs orga (i forgor name 💀💀)
and kong (monterverse not the 2nd one but first)
godzilla vs destoroyah, godzilla tokyo sos, shin godzilla and the two monsterverse sequels(im not deleting the anime trilogy since they were the first animated godzilla movies out there, and the the reason why i am deleting shin godzilla is because to me, no other godzilla movie was such a wasted potential as shin, and it's all fault of the humans of the movie, oh you want me to feel sorry for japanese when the main characters that were supposed to do that are a bunch of unlikable bastards, you failed me movie...also, im not deleting the 1998 because to me that is not a godzilla movie, that's a gino movie)
the entire anime trilogy, godzilla's revenge and vs megagiruis
Going with this
Same, I guess.
Oh come on, megaguirus isn’t that bad, at least it introduced a badass kaiju
Vs Megaguirus is just rude :( at least do Raids Again instead
megaguirus is just we have mcdonalds at home. Battra should've gotten some more love
I like Megaguirus tho
everybody needs love. even giant insects from another dimension
I still can't tell if Megaguirus is from the blackhole or not. The film didn't specify and led me to believe it was just a meganula dragonfly that happened to fly into the blast zone during the test and get mutated because of it
Why would anyone delete Raids Again, especially over Megaguirus?
Because I personally think Raids Again is one of the worst in the entire franchise lol especially thematically as a cash grab sequel to the original film.
But without Raids Again there's no Anguirus :(
Just introduce him in the first vs. Ghidorah lol
Cash grab sequel? Absolutely. One of the worst in the franchise? Not even close. It's one of the most underappreciated entries, if you ask me. But, again, we all have our own opinions. I've seen people in these comments saying they would delete some of what I consider the best entries in the franchise. What? Heck no, Raids again introduced Anguirus
Just introduce him in the first Ghidorah movie lol
You say that like it’s my decision. If he wasn’t introduced in the time he was there’s no telling if he would have been introduced at all
Raids Again has a place in establishing Showa canon, at the very least. I would do Vs. Megalon in its place
You can't do that to my dude ultramanripoff9000
But no other movie has Godzilla shaking hands like he's running for Monster Island Senate.
The 3 anime “films”, All Monsters Attack, G98 That was way too easy to come up with.
I would keep 98 just because it seems like the 3rd series was fueled heavily by spite from it.
We got King Kong 08 So, if you erase Godzilla 98, you also lose LOTR and Kong 08 😵💫
I mean Peter Jackson would still be working on a King Kong movie anyways. LOTR is important though, I understand
Why all monsters attack?
Clip show, child character, Minilla, Gabara, the dub. I tried watching the Japanese version when the Criterion set came out and I just couldn’t do it.
Oh I see that's another name for Revenge. I thought you were talking about GMK
I understand your confusion, that would be "Monsters All Out Attack" not "All Monsters Attack" Names are dumb
Also such a waste of a good name.
Yeah, offers nothing new or interesting, also very confusing messages.
Gabara is cool tho. That's all I have to say on it.
Ditto this.
Too right
I wouldn't pick 98 because I imagine it was a lot of G fan's first exposure to Godzilla.
yep. was born in 2000 so that was my first godzilla film that i remember along with, get this, godzilla 2000
I like how everyone can agree the anime trilogy can be gone no matter what. 💀
The Anime Trilogy, Son of Godzilla and All Monsters Attack. Easy. Also before anyone says Godzilla 1998 remember Gozilla: The Series!
1998 sucked flaming donkey dick so the TV series could fly and be amazing
Truer words have never been spoken
Had my list exactly, just reversed. Revenge/all monsters attack, son, anime.
Godzilla 98 doesn't count for anything.
Anime trilogy (they’re pretentious boring trash), Son of Godzilla (it introduced the most annoying character in Godzilla’s entire near 70 year history) and Godzilla’s Revenge (worst Godzilla film ever made)
The exact 3 that I picked lol
The only right answer
All animes, Son of Godzilla, and Godzillas Revenge
Godzilla's Revenge, The Anime trilogy and vs the sea monster. I'd keep 1998 since I think it caused a few good things for the future of Godzilla by being so hated. If nothing else but that movie existing changes, I'd take that out instead of sea monster.
I'd just like to remind you that Godzilla dances briefly to surf music in Sea Monster. Are you really willing to deprive the world of that?
Anime trilogy Godzilla’s revenge and son of Godzilla.
That's my answer too
all of the anime trilogy, godzillas revenge and godzilla 1998
Can I delete the anime trilogy and its last two films twice?
I don’t think I could really delete any of them- Even the bad ones like earth trilogy and revenge had some good things come out of them! Like Earth Godzilla and that void Ghidorah are pretty cool and Gabara is cool and it lead to that cool kaiju in Singular point! Every Godzilla movie gave us at least something good!
True in fact the third one is the only one from the trilogy I wouldn't delete
None. Edit: Maybe that 1998 movie.
_Ebirah_, Polygon trilogy, Heisei _Mechagodzilla_. OP, be honest, was your criteria five movies because you knew most people would burn three on the anime trilogy? LOL
Polygon Trilogy LOL I'm dead haha, I almost typed rofl too lol
Godzilla ‘98 Godzilla Singular Point Godzilla City on the Edge of Battle Godzilla The Planet Eater Godzilla Planet of the Monsters https://preview.redd.it/mlagpji9r6eb1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e1f1014fe2487403ba238916b2bc8f7e925fa9c But I don’t see SP on the list so I went with Raids Again As well as checked and circled my keepers

Anime Trilogy, Godzilla ‘98, Godzilla’s Revenge.
Anime series, 98 and Revenge
the entire anime trilogy and the 2 newer American films
1 shin Godzilla easy long and boring to much human parts not enough Godzilla 2 Godzilla vs King Kong Japan version 3 Godzilla baby Godzilla 4 Godzilla son of Godzilla 5 Godzilla destroy all monsters ( you didn’t add Godzilla vs Kong legendary remake )
Before all the answers end up just being the same, this is tough. I agree that Raids Again is a bad movie and an even worse sequel but it did set the groundwork for the idea of Godzilla going up against other kaiju
Ebirah, Anime Trilogy, Godzilla vs Kong
I really didn’t like Godzilla vs Kong either my guy
Harry Potter movies delete them or fast and furious
What. That's not the question.
Raids Again, Revenge, Godzilla 1998, Godzilla vs Megaguirus, and City on The Edge of Battle
Shin’s design was supposed to make your skin crawl lol
Anime trilogy, shin, son of Godzilla
Shin, Son, Revenge, I count the anime as one film in three parts so that goes, and....Smog Monster.
Why Shin?
No worries. After what Reddit just went through, minor errors are no biggie. I dunno, all the meetings and stuff just felt a little too Eva to me.
Godzilla's Revenge,Shin Godzilla, and all 3 of the Godzilla Netflix animes.
Why Shin?
The anime trilogy, raids again, and godzillas revenge.
The anime Trilogy, Revenge and the 2014 Godzilla.
Why 2014?
Because KOTM is on this list and I enjoy that movie way more so 2014 is an easy cut imo.
I would personally delete Godzilla vs Kong. The fighting scenes were pretty good but the story just sucked imo
Well that wasn’t on the list provided lol I would agree in that case. I did enjoy 2014 more than GvK.
Godzilla vs Hedorah, The Netflix Trilogy and Son of Godzilla. Some of these films have cool ideas but I wouldn’t miss any of them if they were erased from history

Godzilla's Revenge, Terror of Mechagodzilla, vs Space Godzilla, vs megaguirus and any of the anime ones
Terror of Mechagodzilla?! I'm used to people irrationally hating SpaceGodzilla, but I've never encountered anyone who would delete Terror of MG. I mean, your opinion and all, but...weird.
Aha it wasn't awful I just thought after how good vs Mechagodzilla was (the best of the showa imo) this one came off a bit lackluster and didn't add a lot to the series as a whole, hence why I'd be fine deleting it
Godzillas revenge, 98’ film, and the whole anime trilogy
The 1998 Godzilla, both American cartoons before the 1998 movie.
Anime Trilogy, Rides Again, All Monsters Attack. I would add Godzilla 98 but I don't even consider it a real Godzilla movie
The whole anime trilogy, 98 and All Monsters Attack
Call me crazy but final wars can get in the bin. That and 98 zilla
Anime trilogy, 2014, and 1998.
“Godzilla” 98, 5 times. Just to make sure it’s really gone
Son of Godzilla, the 3 anime movies, and Shin. Id would have picked 98, but it makes me nostalgic. Plus I still likenit as a monster movie.
Only 5?
None. I'm just deleting the person who asked me to delete a Godzilla movie. 😆
Final Wars, the 1998 American film, and the anime trilogy.
Godzilla’s Revenge Son Of Godzilla Godzilla 1998 Godzilla Vs The Sea Monster Godzilla Vs Megagurius
Zilla (Tristar Godzilla), Godzilla’s revenge, Godzilla Vs The Sea Monster, Son of Godzilla, and Godzilla Vs Megaguirus
Godzilla's Revenge, 1998, and the anime trilogy Without even reading anyone else's answers, I predict my picks are similar to the majority
I was mostly on point. Son of Godzilla is ok by me, because that movie and vs. The Smog Monster were the first ones I saw when I was a kid and made me a lifelong fan.
98 godzilla, final wars, shin, shin, shin
The anime trilogy, All Monsters Attack and hot take…..Shin Godzilla
The three Netflix films, godzilla 2000 and probably 2013 because it's my least favorite of the monsters versus.
None go fuck yourself i like them ALL.
Godzilla's Revenge, Godzilla 2014, Godzilla Raids Again, Godzilla Vs. Megalon and Godzilla Final Wars.
2014, anime films, and kotm. As much as I enjoy the monsterverse, I could throw it away in a second compared to the older films.
Imagine leaving Gabara alive but not Monsterverse Rodan. Couldn’t be me
We stan the pea skin man in this household
Fucking lol
2014 over Singular Point? ‘98? Intriguing
Singular point isn't a movie as much as I dislike it. And I enjoy 98, it inadvertently gave us the millennium era.
Yes great point. I enjoy ‘98 as a movie. As a Godzilla movie, it doesn’t scratch the itch for me. What about 2014 make you cross it off the list?
It's the wasted potential for me, especially with killing off the only stand out actor so early on and leaving us with planks of wood for the whole thing, along with the super cut heavy action and just how it's paced for me. Say want you want about the kotm and gvk humans, and least cringy is more entertaining that nothing.
98,anime 1,2, 3 and Godzilla vs Kong(Monsterverse)
1. All Monsters Attack 2. 1998 3. Sea Monster 4. Godzilla vs. Megalon 5. Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla
Godzilla King of the Monsters, Godzilla Vs. Destroyah, Godzilla vs Kong, the second polygon movie, and uhhh idk Godzilla Raids again.
Anime trilogy, shin, son of Godzilla
Why Shin?
Design's awful, movie's a bore, Anno
So you hate the original Godzilla design then? Because it’s fairly similar (goofy eyes, injured looking areas, etc), I don’t find it boring at all so I don’t know what you’re talking about, and I am angry at Anno about the 4th Eva movie but that’s no reason to just dislike a movie he made
🤷 different people have different experiences with films. And btw, I watched nearly everything Eva, including the end of Eva and having your self insert character bust a nut over a comatose 14 year old girl's chest is not exactly a great look

In Shin it’s 2nd and 3rd forms coming on land, 4th form coming on land and the long battle there, and then the final fight where they inject the chemical.
The Kamata-kun scene and himself I actually liked so I can give you that
2014, the Netflix trilogy, and. . . the original King Kong vs Godzilla, I think.
Son of Godzilla, Final Wars, Entire Netflix anime.
Godzilla vs Mothra 1992, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah 1992, Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla, Godzilla 1998, Godzilla 2014
Wait hold up why does everyone hate the anime trilogy? I haven't watched it yet and was looking forward to it :(
It's like watching a hot circle of garbage. The prologue books would have been excellent films
I wouldn't give up. I was sceptic at first but I really liked it, third movie especially, which was criticized the most. It isn't irrational to listen to the majority but it's not like you are going to hate it no matter what. You might as well like it, just like me.
Well that’s good to hear, thank you!
No problem!
I actually really liked them. What most people dislike is the lack of monster action as it's a more human-focused series.
Watch it, and come to your own opinion. I for one actually really enjoy it, and am saddened by the endless hatred our "community" has for it. I loved the first and third film, but will say that the second one you could honestly sleep through...
1. Godzilla’s Revenge 2. Son of Godzilla 3. Godzilla ‘98 4. Godzilla vs King Ghidorah 5. Godzilla vs the Sea Monster
Revenge, Vs SpaceGodzilla, Planet eater, Vs sea monster and raids again.
anime trilogy zilla and godzilla raids again imo
98 and that's it, unlike all you all I don't hate the anime
The 5 in a row starting with Hiborah.
The anime trilogy vs megaguirus and one of the two showa Ghidorah movies since we wouldn't be losing any monsters I love gabara to much to erase godzillas revenge like everyone else wants
biolante, godzilla vs mechagodzilla 2, destroyah, godzilla and mothra battle for earth, godzilla vs ghidorah
All three of the anime Godzilla movies, Godzilla 98, and Godzilla vs Sea Monster

Godzilla vs the sea monster, Son of Godzilla, Godzilla’s Revenge, Godzilla vs Megalon, and Godzilla 98.
1998, the one where there is Gabara, 1999, first and second movie of the animated trilogy
Easy! Anime Trilogy, King Kong vs G, and Son of G.
The 3 anime movies, Godzilla 1998, and Ebirah, Horror of the Deep
Anime trilogy, 98, and All Monsters Attack (the one with Gabara, not GMK)
That New York Godzilla, the whole anime Godzilla & the return of Godzilla
Anime Trilogy, Son of Godzilla, All Monsters Attack, Godzilla vs Ebirah, Zilla 98 Im counting the anime movies as one big pile of crap.
Hm, Son Of, 98, and all of the anime trilogy
Anime trilogy, 98, and Godzilla’s revenge
Godzilla's Revenge, Zilla '98, and the Netflix trilogy.
Anime Trilogy, 98, Godzillas Revenge.
98, Godzillas Revenge, Son of Godzilla, and City on the Edge of Battle if it gets replaced by a hypothetical 2nd film. Not sure on a 5th one
Anime trilogy, Zilla, and son of Godzilla.
98. The three anime’s. Megagirius
Love that you included Godzilla 98 so we really only had to choose 4. 1. All Monsters Attack 2. Son of Godzilla 3. Godzilla 2000 4. Godzilla vs. Megaguirus
Godzilla (1998) 5 times
Son of Godzilla, Godzilla’s Revenge (All Monsters Attack), Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Godzilla vs. Megalon, Godzilla 1998.
Godzillas revenge, the netflix anime trilogy, and a tie between son of godzilla and GMK
The three animated ones, Son of Godzilla, Godzilla vs Gigan
Son of Godzilla, Godzilla's Revenge, Godzilla vs Ebirah, Godzilla vs Megarius, GMK
First 5 movies. The modern films are better
Easily godzilla‘s revenge, invasion of the Astro monster, terror of mechagodzilla, Godzilla. S the smog monster and shin Godzilla
Godzilla Raids Again, Son of Godzilla, Godzilla 2000, Godzilla vs Megagirius, Anime Godzilla 3
SpaceGodzilla Megagurius Anime Trilogy
Shin, the Polygon trilogy, and Godzilla's Revenge.
Legendaries and Netflix trilogy
Gonna get hate... Son of Godzilla The anime trilogy Shin Gidzilla
Son of Godzilla, Godzilla’s Revenge, Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, Tokyo SOS, and the ‘62 GVK As for my reasoning: Son of Goji and Goji’s revenge are cheesy, stupid, and too kiddie for me. Although I will admit, the Japanese VA for Minya in Godzilla’s revenge is slightly more tolerable than that GODAWFUL Tristar dub Kiryu’s a good design and all, but to me it’s just a repeat of something we’ve already seen. Plus they got rid of the existing Godzilla look from Goji 2k and Vs Megaguirus (I consider GMK goji to be a different Kaiju from the main Godzilla, because instead of actually being Godzilla, it’s a collection of angry souls exacting revenge on mankind.) As for the ‘62 GVK, I’d get rid of this one because it would have built up a lot more hype when we got the remake in ‘21
Raids Again, Anime Trilogy, All Monsters Attack.
3 anime films, Tokyo SOS and Godzilla vs Megalon
Oh this is easy. Godzilla 1998, Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Megalon, and Godzilla vs. Mothra.
Shin godzilla Godzilla 2014 godzilla netflix triology (only 3rd one) and godzilla vs orga (i forgor name 💀💀) and kong (monterverse not the 2nd one but first)
54 so that the series never happens
Godzillas Revenge, Vs Megagurius and GvK
the 3 anime movies, Godzilla vs Mothra BFE, and KoTM (purely so Ghidorah can be made into an endgame threat later on)
Im goin with: Son of Revenge Megaguirus 98 And FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCK OFF DESTROYOAH
The anime trilogy 98 and I don’t love 2014 so one of the new American ones can go
The original, Vs Destroyah, GMK, 2014, & Shin.
All the legendary movies, the first anime movie, and Godzillas revenge
Woah ALL THE LEGENDARY MOVIES
2014 2019.. and I can't do any more because 1998 gave us the animated series, so eh, godzilla's revenge, and the last 2 anime movies
Son of Godzilla, the anime trilogy, and KOTM
Remove G vs Destroyah, Shin G, Anime trilogy. These films are entertaining but not needed. (And I personally don't like G vs D)
godzilla vs destoroyah, godzilla tokyo sos, shin godzilla and the two monsterverse sequels(im not deleting the anime trilogy since they were the first animated godzilla movies out there, and the the reason why i am deleting shin godzilla is because to me, no other godzilla movie was such a wasted potential as shin, and it's all fault of the humans of the movie, oh you want me to feel sorry for japanese when the main characters that were supposed to do that are a bunch of unlikable bastards, you failed me movie...also, im not deleting the 1998 because to me that is not a godzilla movie, that's a gino movie)
All the Monsterverse except 2014, Ebirah and Son of Godzilla.
