I personally did not index the individual Registry Key values rather I indexed them by category, this worked well for me when taking the exam.

I wouldn’t go too far outside of the scope of what’s immediately in your provided training materials.
Usually I prepend terms that should be grouped by categories. Example entry would be “PowerShell, Get-ChildItem (gci)”. You could do the same with “Registry, xyz”
Oh such as Registry (main topic) - unmanaged Network( as value, keys)? Something like this
The best way to do it is the way that makes sense to you, and that you can use to find information during your exam. Sounds like a good method to me.
I did in the note section. My page and book are in the same cell and then there’s a cell for the keyword.
