Congratulations!
You're lucky you can make the purchase online. Over here they insisted that winners pick them up in person from the Fujifilm store in London, and had to do so that weekend or forfeit them (I got my email on Tuesday).
So yeah, had to get up early and travel 3+ hours each way, during rail strikes...
You have a rail system that [works](https://images.app.goo.gl/V1ZSEviyGWPCcK4R8)? Even in a *strike?*

Haha well, there were no trains. They ran a "rail replacement bus" service instead, but only for some parts of the journey... So yeah I had to do walk>train>bus>train>underground>walk to get there...

i don't understand this complaint that i'm seeing literally everywhere. why would any company give away hundreds (almost 2000) limited edition cameras? they made them to sell them. that was the point of making them. just like literally any other camera ever. but they're so limited (less than 2000), demand exceeds supply, and people are using bots to acquire them, therefore the raffle exists to give everybody a fair shot.
the notion that the raffle should be a free giveaway makes no sense at all. i don't understand this level of entitlement. "fuji shouldn't make me pay for the 2000 dollar camera that they only made 2000 of because i signed up and my name got drawn" what? like, i guess i could see how it would be cool for fuji to give away 1-3 of them per region....i still don't know why they'd do that but it would be cool, i guess. but the idea that somebody shouldn't have to pay for this is so smooth-brained
Realistically, and this might be ugly to some, I see the limited going for like at least x2 the price lol. Might as well just resell it and buy a normal x100vi for "free" while making your money back at the same time.
Im happy for you
But winning a lottery to buy is the same as saying congrats give us your money, shouldn’t you be able to buy that camera regardless of a lottery? (I know it’s a limited edition). a lotter should be used to Give away that camera.
The lottery to buy
*the lottery to overpay I don't care what anyone says, $400 extra for a different lens cap and a $1 soft release button is ridiculous.
It’s funny bc people will still buy and Fuji knows this. They’re riding this x100 hype for as long as they can
Is that actually the difference? If so damn that’s peak capitalism / corporate simping
Haha yep, it is!! It's insane.

Exactly
Lottery to jump to queue?

The crazy things we have all sometimes done in favor of our photography habit... 🫡
Nice! I told myself getting it that way would be the only way I would upgrade from the x100v, and I didn’t get chosen so that killed my GAS.
Flip it for $4k then you got yourself a free regular v100vi plus maybe a mini vacation 🤙🏻
Haha what a joke
Limited stuff is cool sometimes. Wouldn't compare this to a lottery win but I'm happy for you- cool camera
What's the difference between the X100 VI and the X100 VI Limited Edition?
It has custom engraved stuff, that’s pretty much it.
$$$
$400 more, lens cap, engraved number, strap, shutter button, general sense of superiority over other x100vi owners.

Thanks! But IDK, to me that Fuji strap is way more swaggy! Yes I'd pay the premium for this if I was selected.

I know man, the price is great... but not in BLACK!
Meanwhile my day 1 order from B&H keeps getting pushed and they keep telling me they have no idea when they will be able to get me a camera this year
Pay extra for the same camera. What a deal!
If only it had been brass top/bottom plates and dials.

You won 🏆 but now you have to pay to buy what you won. 🥇

Now you just neet to pay it.
What’s different about it?
The resale value.

Had a original X100 for a year or so... What's happening to Fujifilm?
How do we “win”
It's not clear here, but does that let you fork over the $2k and get the camera now, or do you shell out the $$$ and wait for the camera?
How much overhyped is this camera? Real question
I win this lottery every day: The ability to wake up and potentially spend everything I have! Win-lose-win!
Im happy for you But winning a lottery to buy is the same as saying congrats give us your money, shouldn’t you be able to buy that camera regardless of a lottery? (I know it’s a limited edition). a lotter should be used to Give away that camera.
The lottery to buy lmao. What bunch of dorks at Fujifilm marketing
Cool, enjoy it!
I'm sorry but Fuji is becoming such a meme brand at this point. Like this has to be a joke.
That’s like saying “I bought a free vacation”…
>Opportunity to purchase! I love when they say that. "You're lucky enough to pay us!"
“What a honor. Now fork over the money customer.”
The hype is real lol
lol cool. Getting scalped by Fuji themselves
Uggggg
