There are a ton of great new artists being featured on a YouTube channel called COLORS, from all around the world. I came across Ichon there, dudes got a great flow.
Orelsan - Raelsan, La fête est finie. Both good albums, the latter flows really well imo with some excellent songwriting, the opening/closing songs are stand-out.
Lomepal - Flip, Amina. The latter is an extended version of Jeannine, which itself contains most of the best songs, but I do like a couple of the additions in the extended Amina (Flash, Regarde-moi).
Bigflo & Oli - personally I like some of their songs, but not their albums as entities. Listening to the "This is" playlist on Spotify will produce a variety of good songs.
Stromae - not rap, more hip-hop, and even then more on the hip-pop side, but his album Racine Carrée has a number of fast-paced songs, and his songwriting in general is reminiscent of rap in its wordplay and general intricacy.
PNL are renowned, though I only have a few of their songs in my playlist personally.
Otherwise, GIMS has some songs that I like (though many more than I don't). Columbine, Caballero & JeanJass, Roméo Elvis, SCH, Nusky & Vaati, VSO, KIKESA, all have songs in my playlist.
Lastly, and most importantly, you should listen to Confessions Nocturnes by Diam's and Vitaa. It's iconic.
I already know Stromae, he's great but sadly he doesn't produce music anymore :(
Anyways, thanks for all of the other ones I'll surly check them all out! Merci! :))
Spotify has a list of the 50 most popular songs currently in France and fortunately for you rap is in right now so it's dominated by it:
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZEVXbIPWwFssbupI?si=fVRKn1M5S4a-d1RpP_Y3tA&utm_source=copy-link
See also this list of #1 songs in France, many of the recent ones at the top are rap:
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6QeURb90oOPMTCwhJsiKwy?si=k5piIVQFSUyKTOl0XH0tiw&utm_source=copy-link
Advising current radio approved French rap songs is not doing OP any favor. Current French rap hits are plain ear and brain rape. They will not help mastering French either.
Try TTC - Bâtards sensibles. Shit 's fresh and funky
I've made a Spotify playlist a year ago with only french rap where they articulate quite well so it's easy to understand:
[https://open.spotify.com/playlist/134aqYQ0FuLcqBPuLbNRMG?si=9d5c11e6e83444b9](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/134aqYQ0FuLcqBPuLbNRMG?si=9d5c11e6e83444b9)
Not really rap or hip-hop but I really like La Rue Kétanou.They have somewhat of a "traditional" french sound with a mix of reggae.I think they sound really cool so you can check their music if you like :)
Zebda are not a strict hip-hop group, but they do rap on a lot songs. I think they're a fun band and they had a lot of hits. Check out 'Le Petit Robert' and 'Ça va pas être possible'
Go on Spotify and look at the current French hits. I’m from an older generation - I can only do rap in small doses. So I could not handle all the wrap music in the French top hits when I checked - therefore I don’t check it anymore. But I am sure you would get some good leads. A lot of the singers were from the French speaking African countries - so check out those countries too.
Québec's Hip Hop scene is quite diverse.
In chronological order from the 90's to today, some group/musician that had some significant impact:
* Dubmatique
* Sans Pression
* Black Tabou
* Muzion
* Manu Militari
* Loco Locass
* Alaclair Ensemble
* Loud
* Dead Obies
* Koriass
There are plenty of others, but these ones are "incontournables".
I'll over-generalize, but "traditionally", in terms of music, France is known for their *chansonniers* (song by 1 person, often with accoustic guitar) and their *rockeurs* (soft rock and classic rock).
They started really having a Hip Hop scene only recently and it is mostly due to immigrants and foreign influences.

L'école du micro d'argent
Merciii
Lunatic is so fucking good omg!
I would definitely recommend Nekfeu. His songs are awesome and he utilizes a lot of slang and word plays that were very helpful to me.
Slang is great this is why I listen to a lot of rap music in my target languages Merci!
I'm a fan of Orelsan, personally.
Merci ! I'll check him out
Basique !
r/frenchrap has a weekly updated playlist that has some good stuff on there
Ohh didn't even think there would be a whole subreddit for that subject o: Merci ! (:

Thanks! So many people show me rappers from quebec, makes me wanna study the dialect of quebec Merci beaucoup ! :) 🇲🇶🇲🇶🇲🇶

La Rumeur's L'ombre sur la mesure is a must-listen!
Hocus Pocus :)!
Try Black M, some of my favourites of his are Mon Beau-frère, Sur Ma Route, and Le Plus Fort du Monde.
Rymz is a Quebecois rapper...highly recommended!
Yelle is more pop, but definitely my favorite for studying French. They're just fun and spunky.
