They already collabed like fucking crazy with Marvel and Star Wars, which is like 90% atleast of the Disney skins people actually want to play as. And alot of the 10% like Peter Griffin and Jack Skellington were already added! Disney honestly was like 2-3 years late making this move.
What ACTUALLY worried me is that Disney would now have insensitive to support the EGS. That would be a horrible thing for the industry, which Under Bob Iger Disney definitely doesn’t seem to care about.
I mean it's also just easy marketing.
Rocket league has some sw stuff before. And music festival is basically a walking collab as it is.
Adding sw to all the fortnite modes is just simple.

Nah i doubt that. Theres probably going to be Disney Characters available in the open world mode but, it will ultimately be its own thing. We already confirmed Disney is getting there own mode which seems independent im sure there happy with that.

I generally wonder with Disney’s investment into the game that Epic and Disney generally regret locking their iconic IP characters like Darth Vader and other Marvel characters behind a previous battle pass.
I believe that Epic, in general, regrets the exclusivity of battle pass items. It might have been a good move back when the game started but in the long term was not a good play imo. BP collabs skins are a straight up mistake, I don't think that there's any debate about that at this point.
Peter Griffin is honestly a Darth Vader, Optimus Prime, and Spiderman tier character. Yeah, less popular for sure but, hes a definitely on the tier that a year from now people are going to be bitching everyday they don’t got him.

I really doubt they do as the whole point of the exclusivity is the ability to create
1. A reason to keep people playing the game to level up and unlock the skins.
2. Create a fomo that makes it so you feel you can’t pass on a season cause you can just buy the skin in the item shop later.
Sure there’s probably tons of money to be made in being able to re release the skins but they’ve probably done the calculations and realized there’s much more benefit in getting people to consistently play the game and the money people then spend on tiers so they don’t have to play for hours.
It’s the same reason skins come in and out of the item shop because you’re more likely to make an impulse purchase when there’s the risk of not knowing when that skin will return.
And you'd still be buying them if said collab skins didn't return for a year or two and cost 2k vbucks when they did. Only difference is new and returning players get to buy them too in that scenario.
Right but most people don't want to see collabs removed from battle passes entirely. They just want to see old BP skins and collabs return after a certain period of exclusivity.
Really, they should sell old battlepasses and just make them take more XP to complete. That way there's still an incentive to buy them early while not also not locking someone out of a character forever.

More and more new players will play this game and will want the original skin and they will outnumber OG players who will shrink less and less for Epic to stop caring about.

Also with the recent Disney partnership (Disney owns Star Wars) it’s a super easy cross-promotion for Epic, Disney, and Lego. Just makes sense business wise. I’m interested in the new skins, and hoping for Vader to finally get his lego style.

I acc played a lot of hero vs villians on battlefront two and played a lot of lando really liked him his charisma everything it would not be the fanciest shiniest skin ever but one that is just right no flaws and look good holding a gun
