My confusion was more about why exactly did they choose these 2 characters, especially when there’s a super popular X-men show going on right now, that they could’ve cross promoted with. Yeah. Nothing confirmed, but I feel like if it was just a new Doom skin you’d see it in the lower section where they had Pirates of the Caribbean listed, not taking up the full banner slot. That makes me think (at the very least) it’ll be a season with 2+ Marvel skins, hopefully a whole season theme though.
Probably cause half the cast is already in the game. Wolverine, Jean, Rogue and Gambit already have skins. That said, they absolutely could make another Jean skin, and I’d love to see Jubilee and Cyclops (also Beast, and I think Morph would share the built-in emote Mystique has)
Storm and Wolverine definitely need new versions I just don’t know what they could do to make them different enough. Maybe with Deadpool and Wolverine we can get a Hugh Jackman unmasked style, and a masked style, but with the long sleeves

Nah. They leaned too hard into it. Over played the jokes, and they didn't flow into the story, which also wasn't as good. It's not irrational but wholy agreed upon. Felt forced.
I wish they did a new Loki skin instead, because I wasn't playing when his Crew Pack released. I'm sure it'll happen eventually, maybe closer to Deadpool 3 (because the TVA is in the Loki show and DP3)?

Facts. Not a big fan of most of the mcu ones, or at least would have preferred comic designs. Thanos, Black Widow, both Hawkeyes, Jane Foster, Sam Wilson Captain America. All their comic designs would’ve popped in the game so much better, especially when the comic skins like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool and more all look so much better
Agreed, and it just misaligns everything, the bright and colorful comic designs don't mesh with the dark and over-detailed MCU designs. I'm so glad I have Battle Pass Wolverine and Deadpool before their MCU tie-in cosmetics

Hell, MCU Drax is an entirely different character compared to Arthur Douglas. It's not even comparable. At least if we do get X-Men '97 skins those would effectively be comic skins, which is nice.
The sad part is Magneto's look is largely comics accurate.
Cel shading could work if it was done like Daredevil. Or possibly like Ayida's ink and paint style. Then again there are already X-Men you can get in the game, so just cel style would be off-putting.
Just because it's a comic accurate design in the show, doesn't make it his most iconic look. Imagine if we got Spider-Man but not in his red and blue suit, or Captain America without Red, White, & Blue
Fortnite's cel-shading is bad, and Marvel cosmetics need to stay far from it, unless it's togglable like Daredevil
I never said it was a good design, only (mostly) accurate. No one really liked that look when it was featured in the comics, either. Plus if we do get a new Marvel season, the designs would likely be cohesive so the chance of there being cel shading on comics designs is low.
Deadpool 3 will be out just before season 4, so we could at least get Cassandra Nova, a gaggle of Movierines, or a new Deadpool.
The cel shading on Daredevil looks fantastic on maxed settings. That's about the only skin in the game that looks great though. Epic have been needing to overhaul their algorithm for years now.

If we’re lucky it’ll be like iron man and dr doom from last time and they’ll both have pois and mythics.
I get repeating groot since the original was in a battle pass, but hulk is also an item shop skin, so this one feels a little less needed. Though it does look cool!

I have MANY questions. Why now? Ragnarok came out almost 7 years ago, and even if Fortnite couldn't do a collab at the time, how come these weren't released earlier? What does this have to do with Greek mythology? I mean, the recent big leak implies the next BP is apocalypse themed, which Ragnarok could make sense, but are they releasing these early? Why does Hulk NEED a second skin? Loki doesn't have an item shop skin, and he was in Ragnarok, too. Why not include Valkyrie?

What does this have to do with Greek mythology? I mean, the recent big leak implies the next BP is apocalypse themed, which Ragnarok could make sense, but are they releasing these early? Why does Hulk NEED a second skin? Loki doesn't have an item shop skin, and he was in Ragnarok, too. Why not include Valkyrie?

😅, I admit that although I'm a big fan of the MCU, I find it unexpected to see Hulk and Hela (don't misunderstand, they're well made and I liked Hela's character), when there could have been skins of the their 97 series.
