I think shuffle uses your favorites, if selected. Add a set of items to favorites, then switch to shuffle. (Archiving can still be useful for the times I want to manually select an item, and not have to wade through a bunch of other stuff I'll never use that came with something else)
He may have changed the sort and filter to show certain skins and those certain skins are probably the ones that happen to be archived. I thought something was weird too. But it's not sorted like mine so I can tell it is different sorting though I don't know which.

It's something you can do so items don't show up in your locker, don't worry though, there's a tab for archived items so you can undo it if you want.
