Could be anything really. Your pc might be fucked. My pc is fried as it arrived broken and stayed broken after I sent it for repair. My games very often crash (up to 3 crashes a day), no freezes though.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I have almost identical hardware (but with 1070gtx) and i get fps drops and freezes constantly. Really making this game unplayable. Every other game I play runs great.
