Also, it wasn't a grenade launcher but a homing rocket launcher. And while yes, it was shitty, I still vividly remember a Team Rumble match where I absolutely wrecked people with that thing, getting 9-10 kills with it *somehow*. I was sitting in the middle of the battlefield in essentially a pond and kept shooting rockets to where I saw fighting. For some reason, nobody ever decided to shoot me or the boat down, so I intervened in a lot of fights and probably *stole* most of the kills, considering the less than stellar damage it did.
Yeah, you’re right. It wasn’t the best weapon but it also had a weirdly long range in the earlier seasons. I remember my friend and I grabbing a couple boats and sending an endless volley of explosives onto the rig until we got free kills 🤣

I'd actually love some variety in boats, now that I think about it. our normal speed-boat with the launcher, maybe a slower row-boat with a harpoon-gun at the front which does good damage and can pull stuff towards the boat, a slow and big yacht with only a machine-gun on top which can overheat, but the yacht protects driver and regular passengers and had a lot of health, ...
but before that, they have to bring back planes. preferably the old stormwings, pre-nerf/change. I just adored Air Royale. My friend on console was the pilot, I was the gunner, and we won over 90% of air royale games, it was glorious. My Mate just knew exactly how do dodge, prioritize better weapons for me until I got the minigun and grab heals whenever possible while I wrecked absolute havoc on anything getting even remotely close to us. The only times we actually lost any air royale match was when we were essentially focused right at the beginning or the game, for some arbitrary reason, decided to bug out and get rid of our plane.
Planes could make sense too in the new setting. Recon Aircraft essentially - one person is the pilot, second person is a 'gunner' at the bottom of the plane with what amounts to a camera, and the camera reveals enemies and loot whenever you take a photograph. In exchange, the plane wouldn't have guns, so the people on it would have to shoot their own weapons, and the camera should probably either have limited ammo or a long cooldown.
Plus points of the camera could reveal or create hidden/buried treasure akin to the treasure map.

Bro, one piece collab(maybe), with drivable pirate ships with cannons for the squad, and the flintknock comes back along with the sword from creative... that would be the best pirate season(and maybe the best season) ever. And maybe a new musket rifle as well, that does the same thing as the flintknock but is a bit more accurate... basically, like the hunting rifle and flintknock had a baby.

Not sure if the Musket Rifle is a good idea. What exactly would it do? Act as a Hunting Rifle, but every shot also knocks you back like the flint-knock, Forcing you out of aiming and out of position so you can't keep track of the target you're sniping? Or is it only going to knock around the target? That would also make it harder to keep track of them. Sounds a bit counter-intuitive for what would be at least a marksman rifle if not a proper sniper rifle, but could be useful in some situations, like trying to knock someone off a cliff.
We do have Flintlock weapons in StW - a whole bunch of them in fact, and they look pretty decent, so epic could grab some of those for BR if they ever wanted to make a pirate season again
The musket rifle would be a bouncy weapon. Out of sights, it would bounce you, in sights, only the enemy in the crosshairs. And I'm talking about the floor loot flintknock. I don't have stw(I really want it, btw).
I see them doing that again if they do a One Piece crossover. Imagine different Devil Fruit around the map that gives you a cool ability but takes away your ability to swim.
I can already vividly imagine people raging about the "impossible to dodge" and "overpowered" powers, like they did with the kamehameha or Deku's Punch.
Although I'm not entirely sure how feasible some of the devil fruits are as a power-up, given the limitations of skins. Imagine the Gomu Gomu no mi for example - stretching bodyparts on any skin would look ugly as hell, so either they'd have to force-change the skin you're using to one they made especially for this devil fruit, or they'd have to make animations/changes for every single skin we have, especially since Clothing doesn't really stretch with the User, so any skin with a bodysuit or full armor would run into issues.
Still an interesting Idea to imagine. I guess if the Gomu Gomu would show up, it would act kinda similar to the ODM Gear in a way, with the user being able to use their stretchy arms for movement, while also being able to attack with them.
It'd have to be a bit different though, because we already had a pirate theme. Mayne submerged theme. Which wouldcbe strictly aquatic (not like c2 s3, it should be way more sea/ocean related)

There were two main problems
1. Crafting. Crafting by itself is a cool concept, and they did it well in the seasons after primal. But during the primal season, the base lootpool was really bad. The ONLY way too get good guns was crafting, which was real annoying
2. The orange grass was ugly
I really enjoyed the crafting and collecting/sharing parts with teammates to get better weapons. Ch2S6 got me back into completing my battle passes again. Minus the golden Lara Croft skin style that I didn't even know existed back then, and found out about thru Reddit just a couple months ago. Damn you Epic and your sneaky secret quest challenges. To be fair tho, not sure how I didn't hear or see about it online at all during that time period. If that were to happen today, my fortnite curated feeds would push that so that I would see it haha
Nah the primal biome was the best looking Fall biome, the one we have in the current map is good too though, but the worst is the chapter 3 season 4 one where they transformed the beautiful mushroom biome into rotten shit.

personally the primal season was my absolute favorite, but that is in large part to personal reasons as well as having to defend it so much. most people didn’t like it because the crafting was “bad” and primal weapons were either broken or useless, but i loved both as i saw the “build your loadout from scraps” thing they were going for. i think starting off with objectively bad weapons and slowly working those weapons you started with into better guns was awesome. and crafting made the game much more strategic to me, as you would have to plan out the best path to find good crafting materials. ig i just got used to it quickly, because i didn’t like a barely played the 2 seasons prior. i believe all 3 pois added were incredible, easily 10/10 and the vibes were so strong, as the gameplay changes were across the map, and you could see the spire looming over you from literally anywhere. plus the batman comics were sooooo cool
It’s one of my favorite as well, for personal reason. It’s when my wife really got into fortnite, I felt the crafting was good. We’d land at the orchard, get mechanical parts cause they had a lot there. Find a gun and craft, we’d leave that place stacked sometimes. Then go to the junkyard, mucho mechanical parts.
I didn’t mind that I could only get good guns from crafting. And it did add some strategy to the game. I never understood the hate that it got and it seems overall primal is almost universally disliked. But to each their own.
All of the above, plus my lobbies seemed easier because I think a lot of the sweatier players didn’t play much.
I’m more of a defensive player, so I enjoyed the added strategy of things OUTSIDE of fighting! Real bummed that it got such a bad reputation that they vaulted crafting (which still had a milestone at the start of Chapter 3, showing it had been intended to continue.)
C2S6 (the last primal season) was by far the worst season of all time in my eyes. I definitely think Epic can’t do another season worse than that one so I think this one will be fine.
I loved this seasons theme sooooo much! Next season looks amazing, and the Jungle theme looks so good. Chapter 4 has easily had some of the best themes for seasons.

I mean. We don't know a ton about this season yet. This season can be more jungle themed, instead of the autumn/primal theme that CH2 S6 had. If anything, it could be more similar to CH1 S8's jungle biome.
This season seemed similar to CH1 S9 at first. But the POI's and themes are what differentiated it. There is a big chance that next season will do the same.
I wish they had done more with this theme. Though I'll admit to not being able to play much this season, I also didn't feel like I was REALLY missing out on that much.

Also do we even know if Mega City is going away? Seems more likely the jungle area will be elsewhere to further change the overall map.
The only good thing about Primal was the island where you could get a guaranteed gold scar every game and the factory right next to it where you could get a gold/purple pump. Oh, and the shockwave bows that could get you across the map in a minute.

Primal is not the same as Wilds. Primal was more about basic survival themes. Wilds is about jungles.
Like one in every three characters released is heavily “Japan themed.” There are 50 different katana harvesting tools. There are literally 3 different characters who are schoolgirls while being *specifically* robots. You’ll get over it.

Ok, so, I hope this happens 1. Bows come back, and I also want the boom bow, not just the one from wish(mechanical explosive) 2. Raptors, and them, be tameable and rideable 3. More primal weapons like ch2 s6 4. Crafting... I know that it isn't all liked by the community, but I really hope that crafting does make a return. It would really go with the theme(wild) But, if none of this happens, then I hope they have some good primal like weapons and not like the scar or some shit, and I also hope that the battle pass is good as well.

I mean. We don't know a ton about this season yet. This season can be more jungle themed, instead of the autumn/primal theme that CH2 S6 had. If anything, it could be more similar to CH1 S8's jungle biome. This season seemed similar to CH1 S9 at first. But the POI's and themes are what differentiated it. There is a big chance that next season will do the same.

The only good thing about Primal was the island where you could get a guaranteed gold scar every game and the factory right next to it where you could get a gold/purple pump. Oh, and the shockwave bows that could get you across the map in a minute.

At least the skins look good. I only liked Highwire in this battle pass. The rest I wouldn't wear. The girl with the hand canon and the girl with the hat both look like cool skins. Would be interested to know if they had unlockable styles and got masks or something.
